Klein, billig und hat alles was man braucht. Nur der ausgehängte "Listenpreis" ist reichlich grosszügig - hingegen das Internetangebot war angemessen.

was war gut: - die U-Bahn-Anbindung - allgemein die Gegend um Earl's Court - freundlich bemühtes Personal was war schlecht: - eine Besenkammer statt eines Zimmers - kein Fenster zum öffnen (und somit keine Frischluft) - eine Aussicht die man nicht sehen wollte - eine mit Sperrholz verkleidete Badewanne - eine Duschmatte, die geschätzte 20 Jahre auf […] dem Buckel hat (der Schimmel dürfte aber aktuell gewesen sein) - und noch vieles mehr Fazit: Für einen Städtetrip und somit nur zum Schlafen schon ok, aber statt 3 Sterne gäb's von mir nur einen halben für die Anbindung. Für Londoner Verhältnisse ist dieses Hotel vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber für mich als Alleinreisende ausreichend. Wichtig für mich: Sauberkeit, mit der ich zufrieden war. Frühstück auch o.k. Kaffee und Orangensaft sogar besser, als in teureren Hotels. Gute Lage in der Nähe der U-Bahn Station Earls […] Court. In general the hotel is very nice. The room was typical size but very modern in design and decor. Staff was courteous and helpful. Only negatives was an redicules wifi fee that I did not pay but went to one of numerous local restaurant and got there service for free. Cable telvision was horrible. Quality of picture dismal. hotel chosen for closeness to earls court. We had the room down the small flight of stairs from the lobby room 101. Room was very nice but was very noisy in the morning as people came down and went through a door opposite this room for breakfast. Plus they were still decorating and the builders were in early on the friday morning. Had we been staying […] longer than one night we would have asked to be moved. The room itself was very clean, comfy bed with a good location (train st literally around the corner). But the Internet was not free even for wifi. Also, my room was on level 3 which could only be accessed from level 2. It felt like a maze (which I got used to) and I had to lug my suitcase up and down several stairs. Rooms very small tv very old windows old. Dirty in the bathroom. Breakfast room was far too small and very badly designed. I would not recommend this hotel even though it was a good location.

Other than the door at the end of the corridor slaming every time someone went through it, the hotel is still undergoing renovations not that it distrub my stay. The breakfast room is cosy and not a great choice being served. Having said that the location is great only 5 mins walk from the underground. I would use it again.

A extremely enjoyable weekend and lovely stay will recommend to friends and stay again shame there was maintenance taking place at time of stay but still nice.

Checked in on time however our room was not ready. Told to go away and come back at 2:30. Came back at 3:00 room still not ready. In the end no room until 5. Everything falling apart in this hotel, rude staff, non-existant amenities.

The price and the location is ok, but the room and the "double" bed was really small for two people. The room is about the same size as the bed. The hotel (basement and ground floor) was under construction in 2011 Dec.

We arrived while the infamous refurbs were taking place. Ideally the hotel should have been closed for the duration! Breakfast OK, but dining room cramped (may be better when refurb complete?). The power went off to toaster, fridge, fruit juice machine on the Sunday and the guy in charge tried his best but couldn't find how to restore the electricity. […] It was from a temp supply, because of, yeah, you guessed it, the refurb! Make no mistake - London is an overpriced town when it comes to hotels and restaurants and things, but this hotel gives some relief. Most important, this is a sleeping machine. One would come here to sleep. The room was quite small, as expected, but not a place where you would want to spend any time to read etc. Room itself was clean. No free internet […] in the lobby at the time. At the time, the hotel was undergoing renovation. The breakfast was a bit lacking. No full English Breakfast here. Hard boiled eggs, some wrapped cheese, but not other meat like ham or salami. Cereal, toast, bread, jam, coffee and hot water for tea from a machine. However, the Marks and Spencer Just Food just up the street offers plenty of extras which you can bring to supplement the breakfast offering. Evidently a microwave exists somewhere, but I didn't try it. Plenty of other places on Earls Court Road for other breakfast options. Proximity to Earls Court station is excellent. Hotel is a 3 minute walk away. Mehr

Dirty, small, dusty and needs a complete renovation!

Originally booked for 3 nights, stayed 1 (and gave up 1 nights cost.) Nowwhere near finished. £20 room deposit is unusual. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rack rate is expensive, so at least I didn't pay that much, but ....oh dear!!! Enough said.

Ok I normally don't write reviews unless it impacts me a lot. Well this crapy hotel did. Do not ever stay here. Don't pay attention to the stars given because this place is what we call a MOTEL where you feel like your in the ghetto. Great location next to the tube and thats it. Pay more for a better HOTEL. The hotel is just a few meters away from the tube station making it easy to go around London. This is an ideal hotel for you if you want to take advantage of the public transportation system. Heathrow airport and British museum was a straight shot. Earl's Court is within walking distance. There's a lot of places to eat around the area. The room itself […] is small but I guess that's typical of European hotels. I care less about the space because I was only there for a couple of nights and I was out all the time anyway. The staff were friendly and helped me arranged a tour to see nearby cities. All in all it's a great hotel. Especially for a solo traveler. Mehr

This is a small hotel ideally located in Earls Court and Kensington. Our first room was tiny - so much so that we could barely get our luggage in and it had to remain closed to allow us to move around. On day 2 of a 4 day stay we asked to be moved to larger room and this was done on day 3. The new room was excellent and I believe we were one of the […] first occupants following revovations. However, the room was not serviced by a lift and access was achieved via flights of stairs in both and upward and downward direction. Having been away from Australia for a month we had two large cases and two cabin bags - all of them heavy. It was extremely difficult to get our luggage to the room and we were told that the hotel did not provide a porter service. The reception staff of the hotel were helpful and efficient and are to be concragulated on their helpfullnes and capable way in which they carried out their jobs. Mehr

I had to travel from Ireland to London to a conference. I got a cheap but convenient bus (E*sybus) from Gatwick to Earls Court, very near to where the hotel is situated. After a short walk I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a friendly male receptionist who seemed to be very taken with my female colleague. Turns out they are the same star sign. We […] went to our rooms and were very impressed. Maybe I have low standards but then you hear stories about affordable London accommodation. It was comfortable and had great shower. There was a bit of a dodge smell in the bathroom, I thought, but then this smell kept popping up all over the areas of London that I visited. So, I figure thats just a London smell? Good hotel. I stayed here for a weekend visiting some events in London with my wife. Although I often prefer to stay centrally this Hotel (basically a B&B) was chosen based on price, as we knew we would only be sleeping there. Although price and the advance booking offer was the key it offered a convenient location - just 100m walk from the Earls Court tube station, […] which links well with central London within minutes, it also offered an abundance of shopping options being near a high street but also a quick tube journey to the Westfield Shopping Center. The hotel was having some refurb done, can see why...as it is a little tired when it comes to decor - but like I said...we were just after a good deal for a place to sleep with good transport links. They do a breakfast, though I didn't try it. Bedroom was clean enough, bathroom a little less so (a little scale and dampness). I would stay here again if I wanted a B&B with tube links, but I won't be hoping to stay there again if that makes sense...I will always try and find an acceptable rate at a larger chain with facilities (gym, pool, bar etc). I suppose this hotel is quite good for the price. The shabbiness of the carpets takes a little getting used to, but once you realize that those spots are not living creatures, you can relax and be quite comfortable. It would be an excellent hotel in the third world, but in the first, maybe not so much. The price is much cheaper on hotels.com than […] at the front desk, and London is not a cheap city, so the price is really quite fair. If you are a backpacker or have a backpackers traveling mentality, this could be the spot for you. The staff are very nice and try to be very helpful. Mehr

The only perk was that it was close to the metro. This was a last minute booking and the cheapest place I could find in the neighborhood. Definitely got what I paid for.

Our room was in the basement with lots of repairing going on from early morning. The humidity was very high, but except from that it is a convenient budget-hotel :)

This hotel is good if you want something cheap and cheerfull but is very basic. The biggest issue we had to pay a £20 cash deposit a room which meant a trip to the cash point before we were allowed to check in. Never come across anything as stupid before and they would not accept card.

certainly not great, but fine for the rate, given London's generally over-priced hotels. Close to tube, close to main road. Room very small, but relatively clean, if worn, and everything worked.

This was a basic hotel and to be fair was a basic price. It was however very tired and dingy. The breakfast room was tucked away in the basement. There was little choice of food and the hot water wasn't hot enough to make a proper cup of tea! The room we had was also in the basement overlooking the building site in the back! I chose this hotel for its prize and location. Accommodation in London can be quite expensive and this hotel offers a room with simple breakfast for a great prize. It's located in a good area, quite safe (stayed out late) and not too far from tourist attractions. I walked to the hotel first and then just used public transportations to get around. I have lived in 2 diff rooms in this hotel. The one on 4th floor is a lil bigger, has a big window, but there are a lotta walking noise from the ceiling above. Rooms are clean in general. Complimentary coffee/tea service is nice. Free breakfast is good eventhough it is only continental, no meat. The 2nd room on second floor is even smaller, has a window […] that can only open a tiny slit .... not good. Shower head is loosen, always falling down. Should be fixed. Rooms have a air condition looking machine, which after I turned on, doesn't give too much of a cooling effect. Oh well, other than that, once again room is generally pretty clean. This room is more quiet. For a budget hotel, it is not bad, just don't expect too much. Mehr

Hotel was quiet at night which was brilliant - location and ease of getting to places via Earl's Court tube station was brilliant. Hotel needed a refurb but for somewhere just to sleep it couldn't have been bettered for the money.

This must be a mistake for a 3 star hotel. I've paid a lot less for other hotels and have been more comfortable. The room we were on was the first floor and I guess the kitchen was directly below us and we could hear everyone cooking and talking in the early hours. The beds were so old we could feel the springs. I had to make a phone call and was on […] it for less than 10 mins and was charged 7 pounds. The wall were so thins we could hear people in the lobby talking. The only good thing was that the metro was only 3 blocks away and a few stores. Mehr

We were advised that the lift went to the 3rd floor and we had only a couple of steps up to the 4th floor. Not so, in fact there were 20 steps winding up a narrow staircase to an attic room. Not an easy job with 2 suitcases. Room was very small, holes in towels, 1 day wait for toilet to be repaired, no fridge. The staff was unresponsive. There were […] no laundry facilities and when I asked where we could get laundry done I was advised that they didn't know. Breakfast options were very basic. The only thing that worked on time was the closing of the breakfast facilities which unfortunately left us with a bowl of cereal with everything else whisked away around us including cutlery. Mehr

I have never stayed in a room as small as this before; it was prison cell size. The television had only 2 channels. The bed was fair but not great. So why did I give it a decent review? Because it was a great price, had a decent buffet breakfast, and was very convenient to the Earl's Court tube. Lots of food places up and down Earl's Ct Rd, including […] a M&S Simply Food and Coop food place... so good cheap food was nearby. And it had a bathroom and shower in the room, not a communal one in the hall -- so, unlike a hostel, I had some privacy. All in all, for my business trip where I just needed a place to rest my head, this was a good deal. Hotel is not plush but its very handy at the price, 2 minutes from underground and marks and spencers on the corner along with plenty small shops for anything you need. Clean, friendly staff, very good value.

Small room, single bed, so-so tv and very creaky floor. Clean room. Very average buffet breakfast. Good enough for a couple of nights and good location.
