I made reservation via an operator of Hotel.com. I asked him if the hotel has 2 single beds in a room. He told me yes. However, when I arrived at hotel, the receptionist told me that there is only one double bed in our room. The reason I called up the operator was to make sure to have 2 beds in our room. Good place for business travel, especially when you have to stay a longer period of time.

I would like to say my wife and I were completely impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very clean - which is a huge priority for us and the kitchen was a tremendous bonus. Jessica who seemed to always be working the desk was very polite and extremely helpful. The only downside would be to just make sure you park your vehicle on either the west […] or east side of the hotel and make sure its locked and nothing in it. One morning we noticed a car from Arizona had its windows broken during the night. But in all fairness, unfortunately that can happen just about anywhere. Mehr

I have stayed at this location many times and would recommend it to others. There was only one problem this time and that was with service. We attended the State Fair early one morning so I requested a late check-out and was granted a half hour by the girl at the desk but she never communicated the extension to housekeeping; when I asked her about it […] at check-out she was combative and tried to blame me. This was an isolated incident and the only bad exchange I have had with the people at this location. I'll stay here again. Mehr

The hotel was nice. No free breakfast, but really good coffee. Had no trouble with check in or check out. Room was spacious and clean, but bed was queen, not king (which we requested). No problems with the hotel itself...it was nice.

Being disabled I've had good and bad experiences when leaving the comforts of home; but this was one of the best. The accessibility was top-notch, the staff courteous and helpful. This was actually my second stay at this hotel and I will probably choose it for a third.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay at Candlewood. The rates were reasonable, the service courteous and efficient, and the facility was very satisfactory. I would return and recommend Candlewood to others.

Hotel room was dirty, cigarette burn in the bed spread, AC did not work well. Not worth the money and was nasty overall.

Great place to stay for those who like their privacy!. Housekeeping only comes around once a week....but towels, extra pillows,blankets were all easily available at the front desk.The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and dish needed. The best was the "store".......works on the honor system( stocked with microwave and convinience foods) great […] for late nights. Room was clean,quiet, and the location was central to just about everything.Different kind of hotel experience,but i for one enjoyed it...would definately recommend for the price. Mehr

I stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean and confortable. The A/C system kept the room very comfortable, the staff was always helpful. I would stay here again.

we just needed an inexpensive place to stay overnight while we were passing through, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. i liked the full kitchenette! hotel room was clean and comfortable. the bathroom was spacious. for a 2 star hotel, we were very happy!

Comfortable if you want this type of accomodation. Nothing spectacular but I did like the proximity to shopping, restaurants, and the freeway intersection nearby.

Wow....where do I even begin with the disappointment in this hotel!?! At checkin I was struck by the small "Motel 8-ish" lobby. No big deal.....however, the hotel had a lingering, stale, cigarette smoke smell to it. My room (which my itinerary clearly states otherwise) had only one bed and was quite obviously a smoking room (which my itinerary clearly […] states a preference of non-smoking although I know that cannot be guaranteed...never had a problem before!!!). I went downstairs to attempt to atleast get a room with two beds which we REALLY needed! Was told by one of the 3-5 employees standing around that there werent any rooms in that hotel that even had two beds....they dont exist. Asked to be changed to a non-smoking room atleast and was told that we requested First Available....not so! Requested to speak to the manager, who of course was not there. The couple in front of me requested their room be made up while they were out and was told that they only provide housekeeping services if you stay 7 days....they were only registered for 6. Are you kidding me?!?! Absolutely no customer service whatsoever! I would not recomment this hotel to ANYONE! Mehr

Great accommodations for the price -- I've stayed in lots of Albuquerque hotels over the years and the Candlewood Suites certainly compares with many that are twice the price.
