The Landmark Bangkok - Bangkok

Ich kenne das Hotel seit vielen Jahren. Negativ diesmal, daß das gebuchte Eckzimmer nicht vorhanden war, obwohl das Hotel m.E. maximal zu 50% gebucht war. Das Upgrading erfolgte zwar auf eine Suite, allerdings direkt neben Sukhumvit Rd. und Skytrain. Kein guter Tausch! Sonst aber alles wie immer tadellos.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nana Soi 4 und ist somit Ausgangstechnisch optimal gelegen. BTS-Skytrain ist nicht weit weg. Das Hotel bietet super Zimmer an und der Service ist auf Topniveau.

Sauberkeit, zentrale Lage, guter Komfort wie immer, aber die Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit hat nachgelassen, Vorallem an der Reception wird man abgewimmelt und bekommt keine genauen Antworten auf die gesstelleten Fragen. Schade! Früher war vorallem Die Aufmerksamkeit und ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit das Markenzeichen des Landmarks.

ich kenne das Landmark schon viele Jahre. Dieses Mal liess der Roomservice manchmal zu wünschen übrig. Ich musste am Abend drei mal telefonieren, damit ich nochmals Tücher bekam. Sie hatten es einfach vergessen, dass Zimmer für die Nacht bereit zu machen. Ansonsten ist der Service wie immer sehr gut.

Infrastruktur ist hervorragend: Retaurants, Fitness, Businessraum, Pool und Sauna!

Professioneller Empfang, tolles Fitness Centre im obersten Stock... einsame Spitze...Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Leider hat das Restaurant und die Bar im obersten Hotelstock völlig überteuerte Preise. Ein Bier kostet dreimal so viel wie in der Schweiz! I found that the personell is not very friendly. At the breakfast buffet almost everybody made a face like they did not like to work. the same thing happened on the terrace. while they sometimes had over 8 people running around service was not really good and the people not really friendly the only friendly personell was housekeeping.

Das Landmark liegt direkt bei der Skytrain-Station Nana. Die Nähe zu vielen Restaurants und Bars eröffnet viele Möglichkeiten. Auch sind die Restaurants des Hotels sehr zu empfehlen, doch sind die Preise entsprechend des Hotelstandards hoch. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend höflich und hilfsbereit. Seit Jahren verkehre ich im Landmark. Der Service ist hervorragend. Die Lage ausgezeichnet. Zum Beispiel mit dem Taxi in 2 Minuten auf der Stadtautobahn zum Flughafen. Hervorragende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nächsten Umgebung. Skytrainstation in 1 Minute erreichbar. hervorragende Fitnessmöglichkeiten im "Fitness First-Center" direkt durch die Lobby […] erreichbar. Sehr gute Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. The hotel is conveniently located, close to night life and restaurants. The steak restaurant on the top floor is very good, but expensive - a special occasion place. An ok hotel, but nothing exciting about it. Pool area is nice and secluded and a good place to relax.

All extra service costs a lot. Try to upgrade you, pretend that the cost refers to the entire period

I have been staying at the Landmark for over 30 years. I find it a convenient central location.The buffet breakfast is expensive but extremely good. The hotel is well maintained( my only bad experience in this regard was in the 1980s when I was trapped in a lift and they took a long time to rescue us) The quality of the shops in the basement has declined.For […] example there was a very good tailor, Jass Fashions located there who has since moved. He maintained records of all his customers . The hotel should take a leaf out of their book and maintain records so that they had guest histories and know their likes and dislikes. Whilst I have been a regular visitor, I get treated these days as if I was a first time visitor (this was not the case in the 1970s). Mehr

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, close to all amenities. We were there for New Year and celebrated in the Hotel at an International buffet on New Years Eve. I have never seen a buffet like it! the food was exceptional and the service wonderful. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel and right there on Sukhumvit Road. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, on premises and all around. The hotel services come at a premium, though: internet usage at their computers costs a fortune, as does their breakfast buffet (didn't get that option), and overseas phone calls cost an arm and a leg. Nice hotel in the city of Bangkok. The personel speak very good english and have an high service level. Easy to reach Skytrain wich is highly recomended.

My second stay was a pleasure equal to my first. A friendly and attentive welcome, lovely room, excellent facilities and good food. I also found the room rate to be very economical. I certainly intend to return!

The Landmark is a great hotel. Will stay again if the price is rigth. I say that because all the add-ons (breakfast,internet, ect) add up quickly and are costly. I had to return to Bangkok for an extra day and stayed at a competing hotel just as nice but everything was included. I would recommend the Landmark but just be aware of the extras costs.

Very good rooms Location is perfect Hotel is excellent

This is a quality Hotel which is well positioned. The staff are very good at making you feel wanted and appreciated. Nothing is a bother to them.

World renowned Thai hospitality and service with a smile...:) The Best Buffet Breakfast (Atrium - main floor) I have ever had with a huge selection of American & International collection, 4 or so multiple "freshly" squeezed juices. The hotel is about 2-3 minutes walk to Nana BTS station so it is in great location to transportation. You have free access to Fitness First (a real fitness gym) which is in the same building as the hotel so you will like that better than the small gyms that most hotels provided. The hotel has been doing some renovations but some of the rooms are still […] old and need remodeling. The bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff was great. Most of the front desk staff and main Thai concierge were great. If you like congee then you should try it at the hotel 24 hours restaurant called Green House. The bartenders at Huntman Pub (located in hotel basement) were very friendly as well. The down side is that there is no free wireless in the regular rooms. You can use wireless in the main lobby but you have to get userid/password (valid for 1 hour) from the front desk to use it. Mehr

Landmark is a nice hotel to stai if you have big money and want to have a great time in BKK. But, internet is very expensive, same is minibar in the room..200 bath for one little singha beer???

Landmark Bangkok Hotel. What can i say, awesome hotel. Room was really good, bathroom was spacious and luxury. Staff was very helpful and really friendly. Cleaner lady fixed the room everyday spot on. Hotel is really close to the BTS station (Nana). Which is 2-3 station away from all the shopping centres at Siam and Chitlom. Location great, Service […] great, Quality great, Price cheap. What more do you want. The only thing that i can pick on is the room is a bit small for the superior room. But the bathroom is spacious. I recommend this hotel and actually extended it twice for my stay! Mehr

Hotel is well situated in the middle of the busy Sukhumvit Road and only half hour taxi journey from the airport. This is a great location to experience the wild nightlife. My tip is to request an upgrade when you arrive - for less than the price of a night you get a terrific room upgrade, a late check out, use of executive lounge and snacks on the […] top floor and other benefits... enjoy! Loved the quiet rooms with fantastic vistas of the city. Maid ensured that we had clean towels two or three times a day. Nicest bed in 3 weeks of stays around Thailand. Great proximity to the skytrain.

Stayed there many times over the years, always super service and friendly staff from cleaning to hotel management. Excellent restaurents and bars, great pool. Super location next to Nana station Cannot think of any negative things about this hotel even if try hard :-)

Booked the cheapest room but got free upgraded to a corner room, very nice view. Staff very prof. and friendly always smiles and helpfull. Super location for Skytrain Nana station only 1 min away. Not expenses for what you get, has nice restaurents, bars etc.

We had a one day layover. This was just right. Nicely located.....very friendly and efficient service.

I have been many times in the steak house in the 31st floor. but this time they recommend us a glass of champagne and we didnt asked for the price. they charge us Bath 3000.00 for 2 Glass of Campangne cliques. this is discusting and a shame...if they dont make money on the room they make money here... 5 star hotel and internet cost per hour 200 Bath.... […] no comment Mehr

Stayed for 5 nights and was'nt imperssive of the hotel. The hotel is just good fot it's location and things outside. Bad staff and rude behaviour and serive. We got a room with a bad and old smell like fungi and i got headache of the smell. Asked for new room and got a new one. Got a little better room. So next time i stay in a newer hotel and save […] my money. Not a five star hotel.... Mehr

Was very happy and comfortable in the hotel from the moment i arrived. Great part of town for going out. Nice food in the restaurants .

Concierge was helpful with walk-to restaurants which were excellent and moderately priced. The travel agent was wonderful when she personally called our tour guide back to the hotel when we realized we had overtipped him by 10 times! (He didn't have time to look before he left the hotel with 4 other guests to drop off, or we're sure he would have "reported" […] it.) We found even the "happy hour" prices for wine and beer to be extravagant. Although the wine was good, we found places within one block of the hotel which charged one-third of the price. ($15 vs $$2.50 for wine or $8.00 vs $2.20 for a beer) Stayed at this hotel 2 times 10 years apart. Exceptional rooms. Mehr

I really liked everything about this hotel. The staff were helpful or let's say great. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location, right next to the train station and also to the nightlife. This hotel will be my hotel again I hope in a couple of months.

Ive been traveling to Thailand for over 25 years and stayed at many older grand hotels to keep cost down. Landmark was an excellent newer hotel at the same price as some of the older. Great Gym included in cost. awesome newly updated rooms and good location in the middle of city. Would stay again!

The room was standard, nothing special but clean. Walk-in shower was good. Restaurants in the hotel are very good. Outside cafe in a prime location to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Only negative point for us was that we were on a smoking floor and when we exited the elevator (being non smokers) we could smell cigarettes. This hotel is quite nice. Good bed and bedding, nice enough bathroom. There was a bit of an off smell in the room, but I'm sensitive to that. It's close to all the best shopping and right next to an MTS station, which is great. HOwever, it's alos close to one of the seedier areas in Bangkok, which means it also attracts the same type of people who are […] attending those establishments.
