Das Starhotels Du Parc ist ca. 6 Gehminuten vom Altstadtkern entfernt. Hinter dem Hotel führt ein Weg durch den gepflegten Parco Ducale über die Ponte G. Verdi in die Altstadt. Das Hotel hat eine große Lobby und sehr freundliches Personal, das auch gerne und freundlich Auskunft erteilt hat. Alle hatten ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse. Unser Zimmer […] war geräumig und sehr sauber. Die lindgrünen Stofftapeten und die Mahagoni-Möbel mit den Marmorplatten lassen die Räume sehr edel wirken. Wir hatten gute Matratzen und angenehme Sommer-Federbettdecken. Ein Safe war vorhanden. Im Fernsehen hatten wir nur SAT1 als deutschen Sender. Nachrichten gab es dann über CNN oder BBC. WLAN ist kostenpflichtig, kann aber in der Lobby für 30 Minuten mit eigenem Laptop entgeltfrei genutzt werden. Das Bad war ausreichend groß, Shampoo und Duschgel sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück war normal. Es war alles da: Müsli-Ecke, Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt, Rührei, frisches Obst und Gebäck. Für Autos sind ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und in der Garage vorhanden. Wir hatten das Zimmer 521. Dieses liegt nicht unmittelbar neben dem Fahrstuhl, aber dennoch haben wir Fahrgeräusche gehört. Wer hier empfindlich ist, sollte darauf achten, weit genug vom Fahrstuhl entfernt zu wohnen. Mehr

gute Lage zur Innenstadt. gutes Frühstück

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Stadtkerns und hat direkten Zugang zum Park (auch wenn nicht unbedingt einen schönen). Zimmer sind im "alten" Styl aber sauber und gemütlich. Das Essen im Hotel ist hervorragend und Preiswert. Vis a vie ist ein Supermarkt.

Short walk to town centre. Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Would definitely book here again .

Hotel not too bad although it is a 10-15min walk to town but if you are expecting good service or concierge service then you will not find it in this hotel.

The hotel is a well run upper class establishment. Everthing was properly done and comfortable. The position, through the Ducal Park of Parma is a 10 minute walk to the city centre. A 10 minute walk to the rail station and a supermarket immediately opposite. Very enjoyable stay

In Europe for seven weeks, this is one of our favorite memories. Walkable from the train station and from the historic old town. Beautiful room. Bountiful and appealing breakfast. Go there!

Great hotel with helpful staff and a great location. Short walk through a gorgeous park to downtown Parma. Park was the perfect place for a daily run, walk, or a bike ride. The room was a good size but the TV was a bit dated. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Some free parking in front of the hotel which was welcomed.

We had a great experience here. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very nice - something for everyone to enjoy. We walked from the train station, which was easy and we really enjoyed being right next to Park Ducale to a flavor of the local neighborhood. We also walked through the park to get to the old historic district, which was an easy, […] pleasant walk (especially on a warmer day). There is a shopping center right across the street, so we liked being able to walk across the street and use the grocery store (especially for good, really inexpensive wine!) Mehr

Excellent service, convenient location

Terrible room plus we had bugs on the breakfast food. It was just a terrible hotel with terrible conditions and maintenance.

The location of the hotel is pretty good - within walking distance of the train station and downtown Parma. We had a standard room; it was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The service was pretty good. My only criticism is that one of the ladies at the desk gave us false information regarding a car rental, which cost us time and money the next day […] . Mehr

The hotel was of a very high quality considering not a lot was available for a tourist on Parma.

This four-star hotel sits next to the Ducal Park in Parma along a busy segment of the Parma ring-road. The neighborhood is commercial (There's a supermarket across the street.) and has no "tourist" interest, so there are no "views" looking north and many have interior exposure to the central court. To the south the view into the park is also largely […] blocked by the presence of a large theater at the edge of the park immediately behind the hotel. The hotel has a small bridge connecting it directly to the Ducal Park, and from there, it's a short -- ten minute -- walk to central Parma where the historic and pedestrian parts of the city lie. However, where the bridge crosses the park wall at the edge of the theater is frankly scruffy with weeds and graffiti and ought to be cleaned up. It's probably not a matter within the hotel's immediate control, but they should talk to the park department at city hall to see if they can get the city fathers to improve the site. The hotel itself has generous and well-appointed lobby and sitting areas, a large bar/lounge, and a separate meeting facility. The rooms are nicely furnished and certainly meet four-star standards -- good beds and lighting, marble bath, quiet. Breakfast is a lavish buffet. Staff were very helpful and accomodating. I think all the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but someone had clearly violated the policy in the first room we were given and it smelled of obvious smoke. It was immediately changed. We also requested a brief extension of our checkout time for a couple of hours which the front desk agreed to without hesitation. It probably helped that the hotel appeared very lightly occupied while we were there (no active meetings). It also didn't hurt that we benefited from a substantial discount on the rack rate for the hotel. Mehr

The room was clean and spacious, nice bathroom with good shower. Good breakfast. The reception staff were great, really helpful, their english was perfect and they were happy to teach any italian phrases we wanted to know.

Bom hotel!

hotel molto confortevole, un pò datato, visitato specialmente da stranieri, ottimo per viaggiatori, distante dal centro, non lo consiglierei per un viaggio alla scoperta della città, ma per gente di passaggio.

Bon standing, mais un peu vieillissant. Literie à revoir.

Bon hotel, bien place pour traverser le parc et acceder a la ville. Le lobby est un peu triste ainsi que la salle du petit dejeuner mais a part cela tout bien.

Nice hotel with pleasent crew. I nice walk trough the park, and you reach the center.

excellent hotel très calme facile d'accès - tres bien situé à 10 mn maxi à pied du centre historique en passant pas le parc pas besoin de payer une place de parking - buffet petit déjeuner copieux et diversifié - accueil chaleureux - chambre spacieuse seul bémol nous avions demandé une triple et le lit pour la troisième personne était de qualité moyenne […] alors que les autres literies étaient d'un niveau excellent Mehr

Hotel de très grand confort, aux prix exhorbitant hors réductions. Situation idéale avec vue sur le grand parc ducal. Quartier calme. A 10 minutes à pieds du centre. Aucun défaut rencontré.

hôtel situé à proximité d'un grand parc assez calme avec de grandes chambres très jolies. Personnel à l'accueil sympathique et serviable.

L'hotel est très bien pour ses prestations générales par contre la chambre que nous avons eu (n°537) n'est pas digne d'un 4 étoiles: chambre sous une corniche avec une petite fenêtre donnant sur les toits et une autre fenêtre donnant sur une bouche de chauffage. Il faisait très lourd dans cette petite pièce et bien sûr la climatisation n'était pas en […] route. Ce fut donc une nuit fort désagréable! Mehr
