The Westin Long Beach - Long Beach

Durchschnittliches Hotel, nichts besonderes, wer das Meer sehen will sollte sich für das Hyatt entscheiden. Habe etwas im Zimmer liegen lassen, was aber leider niemals gefunden wurde.

i was extremely satisfied with all facets of this hotel experience. I would easily stay here again, and again.

Wonderful hotel. Clean and comfortable

Exceptionally nice accommodations and close to lots of places to eat. Room and bed very comfortable. Nice fitness facility as well. Parking price was excessive, parked overnight midweek in a largely empty garage...parking was more than $15/night. Might want to check that out before you register.

Reasonably good hotel - breakfast not very interesting but not bad ( plenty of diners to the southwest of the hotel so no problem ).. Slightly worn but very clean and well maintained.

Clean, nice, and very polite employees. If I had to complain about anything I would say that the draining in the bathroom sink and shower could definitely be better and they need to leave more then 3 washclothes and towels when you have a room for 4 people.

Absolutely perfect stay at the Westin Hotel Long Beach! The hotel staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great, a quick walk to the beach. The rooms were recently remodeled and the bed... oh so comfortable. Would definitely return!

If you wish to stay at this hotel, they will only honor your room request so long as you book through their website. I booked a King-sized bed room for two nights on business through this website. The front desk person said that because I booked through Hotels.com and not through their direct website, I was not guaranteed a room at all. Thankfully, […] I was given a room with two small full sized beds. Both were incredibly uncomfortable since the two beds were both saggy in the center. The hotel charged me $17/day for self parking, which I think is pretty astounding considering that valet is only $20/day. In the end, this hotel touts itself as a higher end hotel when the amenities do not match. The room was not very clean, the hotel nickels and dimes for everything ... it just does not make sense. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant had very good food and a nice selection of drinks. I would definitely go back there.

Overall my experience at the Westin was a wonderful one. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, the shower head felt amazing, the pool was nice and secluded and relaxing, and the service was great. However, there were some weird quirks that I can't ignore. No fitted sheet on the bed, and the bottom sheet wasn't the right size and kept coming off. […] Mini-fridge was locked. Fire alarm went off at 7:30 on Sunday morning and apparently required no fewer than 10 jarring in-room messages to be broadcast before it was discovered that it was a false alarm. The toilet flush was screamingly loud. Still, all of those things are very minor issues. I left feeling relaxed and like I had gotten the most out of my stay in Long Beach Mehr

From the moment we checked in we were treated as if we were royalty. The venue is beautiful and the staff is extremely customer focused and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The rooms are spacious, very clean and quiet. We heard no one, even though we knew we had other patrons on each side and above us. The hotel […] is in walking distance of a variety of restaurants- including waterfront eateries. There are also a number of other entertainment options within walking distance- movie theatre, comedy club, dualing piano bar, Irish pub, etc. The hotel is also right across the street from the Long Beach Convention and Event center and has a signaled cross walk for access. Overall, we could not have been more impressed with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for 5-star service at a reasonable rate. Mehr

If you have to be in Long Beach, this is a very good place to stay.

This hotel is nice, but not what you would expect from a Westin property. It gives the sense of a quick slap job to make it look modern and nice. The bathrooms have a granite countertop which is nice, but with the other surroundings in the bathroom, is taken away, The showers just had tile put in for that nice tile shower feel, but the tile is plain […] at best and the tub you can tell was not replaced. The paint on the walls in the bathroom was peeling, especially on the ceiling due to their being no ventilation in the bathroom for hot showers. The shower head was nice, it is a duel head giving you extra pressure and flow, but it looks old and dingy. The bed was pretty comfortable, a little too soft for me, but the thing I could not stand was that the bottom sheet was just a sheet laid over the mattress. It was not secured to the mattress at all, so as I slept, it became rolled and twisted causing me to wake up and try to fix it. The carpet was kind of dingy and stale in the room and in the hallways. The lobby is pretty nice. Open and exposed to natural light. The service at the front desk was great. All in all, not impressed for the Westin title. Nicer than some hotels, but definitely not what I was expecting from the Westin. Great location in relation to the Convention Center, the Pike, Queen Mary, etc. To sum it all up, "Eh, I've had better for far less." Mehr

It was nice but it had 50.00$ hidden fee

The price the hotel charges for parking was outragous. It was hiway robbery.

The only negative item I found was the charge for self-parking in the hotel garage. I did not object to the charge, just the fact that it was unknown prior to checking out, then presented as a charge on my credit card on the final bill.

for the great rate that we got, I did not expect to have this level of courtesy, doors held open, eagerness to be of service, etc.

Amazing stay at the Westin. We were given free aquarium tickets upon arrival. The pool/ jacuzzi area were magical. The room was outstanding. Best night sleep ive ever had! Perfection

Hotel and staff were great and extremely polite. We were quickly greeted and the Bellhop snapped up our bags and had them to the room in no time. (we were traveling with our young children and had many bags with us.) The room was clean, the beds and pillows were super comfortable. My only grip was we ordered room service twice and during dinner they […] sent up fries instead of soup, the soup arrived almost 45 min. later. :( In the am we ordered two orders of pancakes and they only sent up one, again we called and notified them and about 25 min. later our second order of pancakes came but with out butter or syrup. :( all that being said we notified hotel management of the kitchen issues and they were extremely quick in removing the food from our bill and we were happy with their offerings to make things right. over all we would stay there again should we find ourselves in long beach. When I booked the room I was under the impression it was for a King Bed. Was wrong when I checked in...Frnot desk staff was excellent in finding me a room. Only negative was cleaning staff just coming into the room unannounced.

We were not given the room we reserved with Hotels.com. We reserved a king bed room and they were giving us 2 double beds. They said all they had available with a king bed was a handicapped room. That was ok, but we were upset because the reservation was not honored. I called when I was making the reservation and was told it was a king non-smoking  […] room. Mehr

Great location, a variety of restaurants and activities around the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the service was very good.

Maybe I'm stuck in the past but i don't think hotels should charge for parking. I reward Hotels and Airlines don't charge for Parking (for Hotel Guests) and for Baggage. (southwest)

It wasn't worth the price that I paid for. I could have the same quality but much lesser price!

With all the minor cable channels, and even minor news channels, I thought it absurd they did not carry Fox News Channel.

The Westin was great. Walking distance to downtown long beach. Clean and staff was great.
