"Tolles Hotel - viel Schein, weniger Sein"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Jan. 2013Beurteilung immer in Abhängigkeit des Preises: Sauberkeit i.O., bei genauen hinsehen Staub, Kratzer und Abnutzung obwohl das Hotel relativ neu. Ausstattung nur zum Teil nutzbar wie z.B. Fernseher im Spiegel ohne Funktion (warum baut man dann sowas), Fehler konnte nicht behoben werden. Dusche war eher ein Rinnsal. Servicequalität: Kredit Karte ist bei CheckIn immer Pflicht, Hinweis das Kosten bei Abreise Cash bezahlt werden wurde "vergessen". Aber - Blick toll, Lage für die Innenstadt toll, freundliche Dienstleister, gute Organisation.

"Für unseren Zweck genau richtig"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Das Hotel macht schon von aussen einen guten Eindruck. Es befindet sich zwar an einem Hwy, doch davon bekommt man drinnen nichts mit. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Übernachtung nach einem langen Flug braucht, vor allem aber waren sie sauber und ruhig. Weder am Abendessen, noch am Frühstück gab es irgendetwas auszusetzen. Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen an das Hotel, dafür wurden wir positiv überrascht.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 31. Dez. 2012... für das tolle Hotel, das voll und ganz unseren Ansprüchen und dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis entsprach. Die Umgebung ist nicht besonders schön, aber in Dallas ist eh alles nur mit dem Auto erreichbar, also fährt man weg. Vom Highway haben wir im Zimmer nichts gehört. Im Hotel gab es sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, der Zimmerservice war ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr geräumig, die Betten super, dazu mehrere Kopfkissen und auch ausreichend Decken. Alles praktisch eingerichtet, jedes Zimmer mit Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. Wenn man weiss, wo man ist, kann man sich auch mit dem Frühstück arrangieren - es ist eben amerikanisch. Es gab jeden Tag frisches Obst, Vollkornprodukte, heißen Kaffee und alles war sauber. Wir können das Hotel in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen.

This is an optimal location in the DFW area, primary reason why I chose it. The room layout and comfort was very pleasing however it needed updating! Rather to say it needed a bit of maintenance! A ventilation system in the bathrooms would help tremendously but the mold in the bathroom ruined the overall stay for me! There was serious mold growing within […] the grout of the bathtub tile and that gave the room an overall filthy feeling for me. The bed was great. That was the only positive thing. When we got there there was urine on the toilet seat. We paid for parking before hand, but they charged us again at checkout. When we arrived they had our reservation all wrong and we told the guy "no it should be a room with a king" and he didn't believe us until I showed him our papers. Also, you […] have to pay for everything there, which I was expecting, but a bottle of nestle water costs almost 6 bucks when you can walk across the street and get a dasani for $1. The staff really make this hotel a great place to stay. My grandson loved the glass elevator, the pool, and all the places he could go. "Friday night check-in debacle"
Had requested two beds(2 adults 2 children). Were told only king available, would send cots. Then were told by bellman we would be moved to a new room with two queens. The cots show up which we let them know we are waiting for a new room key. We wait another hour, not unpacking or wanting to mess up the room, contact front desk who is clueless and could […] care less. The houskeeping dept called back and asked why we sent the cots back. By now it is 10:30-11pm and kids need to go to bed. He sent us the cots and we stayed in the room. Of course one of the cots didn't have a blanket, which we did request and was sent up within a few minutes. At least the housekeeping dept is on top of its game. A pleasant hotel with good physical accomodations. It's a bit out of the way, but everything in Dallas is 15 minutes. Not a lot to do around hotel. The staff was OK. At first they debated my rate and perks, but once they looked at the reservation they chilled out. The staff was helpful the next two days. Breakfast was good, but came back late one night […] and no place to buy a snack. Small thing, but an annoyance. Overall good value for the rate. Wouldn't want to pay a premium to stay here. "Great place to relax"
Had a good time in the hotel. The room AC was a bit off but they fixed it right away. The restaraunt in the lobby was slow service but the food was good so the was ok. The front desk was very helpful. The hotel is very clean and in a nice area with easy access.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

I stayed here mainly for the convenient location-- I had a meeting about 2 miles away and have previously made the mistake of staying downtown and fighting 635 traffic. Everything you'd expect from a Westin - very nice, clean, fancy. The free breakfast was AMAZING. Walking trail maps great- very close to 5 mile trail. Currenlty construction on 635 is a mess (September 2012) but this is temporary issue. Food, service, bed, sleep, conference rooms all wonderful. I found the property to be in great condition for the age of the hotel, but the staff were less than friendly. I attempted to check-in a bit earlier than the normal 3pm and all I got from the front desk staff was that my room was not ready and they would call me on my cell phone when it was ready.
