Extra charge for wireless 10AUD oder internet in der lobby benutzen. Dieses ist sehr sehr langsam und stellt nach 20 min einfach ab..... inakzeptabel in Zeiten von Internet.

Wir waren positiv überrascht von diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Ich würde es jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen und auch wieder buchen.

Great bed - quiet room. Clean, modern feel about the hotel. Would stay again

The hotel is great, in a very good location easy walk down to main mall in Brisbane, can even reach Southbank on foot from here about 10 -15 min walk. I would recommend and would stay here again on my next visit.

I had a great stay Hotel Urban Brisbane. My room was clean and comfortable, I enjoyed the food at the restaurant, used the gym, and it was convenient to the CBD. I'm also particularly grateful because when I arrived, I informed the woman working at the front desk that I was a bit disappointed because a tour I had planned to go on the next day had been […] canceled (going on the tour was the whole reason I had come to Brisbane). I mentioned it really only to vent, but the woman took it upon herself to research several other tour companies and options for what I could do the next day. She dropped off printouts with contact information and brochures at my door. I really appreciated her going above and beyond in hopes of making my visit (not just my stay at the hotel) a good one. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks! Mehr

I had really good three night stay in this hotel. I arrived early in the morning and got assistance finding a doctor in the city while waiting my room to be ready. The whole staff was amazingly helpfull and great profssionals. The hotel was nicely put together, nice details and desings. Rooms were updated and clean. Also location was great. The hotel is situated just a 10 min walk from the city centre. The service is nice and friendly and the breakfast is good and quite various. The rooms are good but not too large. The surroundings are considerable quiet.

The Urban sits conveniently close to Brisbane city, without feeling like you're in the midst of the city. The parklands over the road are stunning and add to the gorgeous view from the balcony. The room was comfortable and nicely furbished. It doesn't offer all the mod cons but works nicely for a mini break stay.

Excellent hotel for the price. Easy walk to everything, and free loop bus right outside the hotel. the only negative was noisy slamming doors in the hallways.

The hotel was comfortable and ideally located to access central Brisbane, although it is not obvious from the maps that it is at the top of a steep hill. The pool and hotel was very nice however we found the food pretty standard but expensive and there is not much nearby to rival it unless you go down into central Brisbane.

This hotel is up a step hill so be prepared to lug your luggage up or take a cab. There is no microwave but if you sign a waiver they will heat up food for you. The balcony is really nice to sit and dry clothes.

there is a garden just a few minutes walk from the hotel. 5 minutes walk to City center.

Our stay at the Hotel Urban in Brisbane was very comfortable. The beds were so soft! Nice hotel. Great location 2 mins from Roma St Station (Parklands exit) and 5 mins to Queen St Mall. The hotel lobby is trendy without being overly fussy and staff are efficient and polite. Very nice hotel. Room was very stylish & clean. We had a great night sleep cause beds were very comfy. Hotel staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Had a great night there, clean and comfortable beds. Spacious room fit the portacot in easily. One thing was the air con was noisy and I couldnt make it colder as it was set for 22 which was too hot for us. Otherwise it was an easy walk into town and was fantastic.

It is a pretty standard hotel. It is true what others say - no duvet covers and noisy through the joining room doors. I'd stay again but nothing special

It's a reasonable hotel. Location is fairly good particularly if you don't mind a walking as it's within walking distance of the CBD. Rooms are OK, meals a little expensive and not many other restaurants in the area. My disatisfaction was with the response to a request to have the shower floor cleaned. There was a 6 month grease build up and it needed […] 15 mins of serious scrubbing but the response indicated they thought I was being overly fussy (they hadn't seen it at this stage). Actually, I'm usually one of the last people to notice this sort of thing. I actually took a photo to confirm my opinion. It wasn't attended to in the 2 days I was there. The sink plug also didn't work but that was more an inconvenience than a health issue. It might have been an isolated problem. If they had responded a bit more genuinely to my concern I wouldn't have minded. So I probably won't go back. Mehr

Basically encountered what everyone else said in the reviews. Very stylish room cleanliness is soso. i.e. ventilation duct int he room just full of visible filt and dust. Also had one room with a rattling malfunctioning AC unit. First room I had, had paint peeling off (1M sq. area) the wall due to water damage and mold around the light fixture in the […] washroom. All 3 rooms I had during my stays had water leaking from the shower floor to the rest of the room due to poor seal/design. Elevator had a slight smell a few of the days I was there but nothing dramatic.Service was actually better than what is reported. Everybody was really nice and accommodating. High point is definitely the room comfort - the bed is fantastic! Lastly restaurant is all style little substance definitely overpriced for the service and food quality and I mean not only over priced compared to the rest of the world but really over priced for Brisbane. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only stayed one night at this Hotel; however the Hotel had a relaxed atmosphere whilst mainitaining high standards of decor and cleanliness.

Our stay at this motel was the best ever, there was nothing I could really pick on at all very family friendly. Kids enjoyed there stay also. I have already recommended people to stay at your motel..

The Hotel was clean and comfortable, parking was not great due to the closeness of the building supports which made getting in and out diffucult and we were pleased we only had a small 4WD. A free bus stops right outside the front door but unfortunately it does not operate on the weekends so we had to drive into the CBD when we would have preferred […] the convienence of a bus. Mehr

Hotel staff not very friendly plus we asked for nice room as it was our 1st wedding anniversary but just got standard room,nothing nice not even Happy anniversary.forgot to give us our morning papers.room had mould on ceiling.

The hotel was not in the CBD but easily accessible and fronted by two beatiful parks. The outside dining experience was superb. The hotel rooms and lobby were very nice and computers were available for free internet access up to 20 minutes- a real plus if you just need to pick up e-mails. I was there for some R&R and enjoyed access to an off-site gym […] and swim club (complimentary). The hotel has a gym (aka Jim) but the equipment is limited. I would stay there again- nice place. Hotel staff is very nice, rooms are ok, we booked for 2 double beds and it was all ok.

Lovely motel with most things you want including a gym and pool. Located close to the main shopping area in Brisbane and near Roma Street Park so something for everyone. Nice clean bathroom and enough space for four.

The hotel is in a good location. Mum and Dad had to get taxis to get down the hill but they were right outside the door and inexpensive. The free loop bus ran from the door too which was great. The hotel is very nice with great staff. The rooms are good and the mini bar was reasonably priced. A great stay.

In this kind of hotel I expect that the wireless access is free. All the rest is very good.

- great location, walking distance to everything central, 5 min from the train station (direct to airport) - great standards : modern and sleek design, fluffy beds, nice bathrooms, all good. but : some rooms are separated by doors (still wondering why) and it means you live with your room neighbors. Good value with extremely comfortable bed. Good location with friendly staff. Breakfast was only average from cafe.

Although i had a pleasent stay i would only fault with the resturant menu and room service, there is not muchplaces to eat around urban so i would have expected a little more choice ont he menu.

I was really surprised that there were no duvet covers- they simply placed sheets above and below the uncovered duvet. I requested three times to have a duvet cover and by the third request, I was just told that they only use sheets. I have never before slept without a cover at home, let alone a 4 star hotel! Totally unhygenic!!

Hotel is conveniently located close to the center of brisbane, albeit on a hilltop. Nice stroll. Clean and well kept, although the rooms are a bit small. We were 3 sharing 2 beds. Laudry room is not necesarily as clean as we would have expected it to be. I stayed 5 nights in Brisbane with 2 teen age daughters and this hotel was globally a good deal, […] although no particular thrills. Mehr

recently renovated [ they did a remarkably good job ] the rooms are a good size and the views from all ceiling to floor windows are pleasant on either side of the hotel...bathrooms are small but functional....furniture is of good quality as is the bed.
