"Perfect Hotel for an Off-Season Holiday"

Breakfast was very good for Italian standards (they had fruit, cereals, eggs, yogurt and pastries). The location couldn't have been better - right in the middle of everything. The only downside is that Florence is very expensive in summer months, so we were lucky to have stayed in such a nice hotel for such a good price (but it was February). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 4. Dez. 2012Sehr positiv. Ein Nachteil : ist wahrscheinlich der Moderne geopfert. Zwischen Zimmer und Bad ist ein Fenster. Dadurch wird der Schlafende geweckt, falls im Bad in der Nacht das Licht eingeschaltet wird,. Dies wird uns jedoch künftig nicht davon abhalten, es bei Bedarf wieder zu buchen. Mich ärgern generell Gäste, die zu jeder Unzeit so laut sind, dass die schlafenden Gäste geweckt werden.

Nov. 2012Country Relais Villa l'Olmo was a real surprise, charming, wonderful people at the front-desk and in service, knowledgeable and immensely helpful.The appartements sparkling clean, a well appointed kitchen (even with a dishwasher), comfortable beds - and the views!!! Just 20 minutes from downtown Florence, a straight and easy drive. We will be back!

Das Hotel hat die optimale Lage. Wir hatten mit unserem Zimmer etwas Pech.Es war ziemlich heruntergekommen(schimmlige Decke)Aber es war sehr sauber. Frühstück für Italienische Verhältnisse gut. "Das Hotel Bonziani in der Via de Panzani"
Früher hat das Hotel sich er zu einem der besseren Hotels gehört, aber mittlerweile hat es die 3 Sterne nicht mehr verdient. Das Bad war nicht größer als in jeder Kneipe, verspackt und verkalkt und die Dusche wurde mit einem Zick-Zack Paravent zugezogen, dass man sich wie im Gefängnis vorkam. "Tiefe Erwartungen erfüllt"
Das Hotel machte insgesamt einen schlechten Eindruck Zimmer in sehr schäbigen 80er Jahre Design. Bad auch nicht besonders sauber. Spühlung funktionierte nicht. Das Frühstück war ein weiterer Tiefpunkt: Instantkaffe und verdünntes Fanta anstatt Orangensaft. Der Freund fand aber die in Würfel geschnittenen Mortadellastücke toll. "Cheap hotel"
This hotel is cheap for a reason. On the plus side its very central and cheap. On the downside the room stunk of damp and mould up the walls, under the bed was full of rubbish and one of the receptionists was rude and abrupt to just about everyone - I think he needs to find a new passion in life! "Great location, needs updating"
The room was large, the bathroom was updated, except for the hairdryer which looks like a vacuum. The room was stuffy, the cleaners used seem to take up all the oxygen. Even opening the window did not help much. The breakfast was adequate, supplying pastries, fruit, cheese, cereal, juice and hot beverages. "Amazing Location, mediocre service"
This hotel is conveniently located a short walk from all the great attractions. I think the building has seen better days, but was still a fairly comfortable experience.The staff are quite friendly, but I felt a bit misled because of the parking arrangement where they didn't clarify that I was actually paying the city tax which was the same amount as […] the parking; I then also had to pay twice the amount, because the rate they quoted was actually for a single day and not the duration of my stay. "Reasonable Stay with a few buts"
Plus points: hotel is very near train station and the centre of town in reasonably safe area. You got breakfast that we didn't know before arriving, the beds were extremely comfortable and I slept really well with no noise. Negative points: Hotel and room was extremely dated, decor was falling off the walls, everything is mismatched, TV was stuck up […] in the corner wall of our room where you could hardly see it, hotel reception not very friendly, bit dirty around the edges, breakfast selection not bad but coffee was horrible and there were a lot of dirty plates and cups not cleared away. We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations are small by American standards, but adequate by European. The carpet was worn and the wallpaper was old, there is heavy tourist traffic in Florence. The location was excellent. We walked from the train and were minutes from most points of interest. Breakfast was more than adequate. "Would not recommend..."
The location was just perfect. Steps from all to do in Florence ... Walk to train station in 5 min., all the sites so very close, if that is indeed what you are after. The condition of the hotel .... Sadly, very dirty and dated our room had wallpaper peeling off the walls. Shower full of mold, walls clear duct tape repaired. Shower so small my husband […] could hardly move at 6'1" and average weight. Closet ceiling falling down... Window opened onto pigeon roost, curtains water stained. The smell of mildew everywhere. I didn't like this hotel at all. The room was tiny with zero floor space. The carpeting in room and hotel was old and smelled old. The shower was tiny and you had to climb over the toilet to get to it. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel. I'm surprised it's ratings on your site weren't much lower. Enjoyed our stay/first time in Tuscany. Had very nice view from the street. We slept well in our clean room. Was supposed to have Wi-fi access in room according to booking/hotel staff but was only able to access wi-fi in the waiting/reception area and signal is lost in our room. "Ok if coming in late from station/bus terminal"
We decided to stay here as it was close to the station and we were arriving very late at night. It is close and easy to find from the station/main bus terminal so is definitely recommended for that. The hotel itself is dated and could use a refurb - for example, there was a large section of wallpaper that was peeling off our bedroom wall. The shower […] is absolutely tiny - I can't even imagine attempting to wash your hair in there. Overall, it was good for what it was - but I wouldn't stay there for more than 1 night. During our 3 night stay, we changed rooms 3 times. All rooms had a strong odor as if the windows were not opened in years. Everything smelled awful that I couldn't even hang up my chlothes in the closet. Furniture were extremly old and everthing appeared to be dirty. Hair dryer did not work, bath tub was leaking, silverware and dishes were dirty for […] complementary breakfast. I don't know how this hotel received a 3 star rating. Hotel staff was very rude when we checked in, rude about paying the taxes (cash only but did not forewarn us). Even more rude to our travel friends who came by to visit for a few minutes and see the view (no view really). Shower was TINY. Bed was old and air con did not work. "Yeah, it's ok."
It's a reasonable hotel - it was a great location near the station and the Duomo, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and it was clean. Unfortunately, it was aging and a bit rough around the edges - so while the room was cleaned everyday, it still looked a bit shabby.
