The location of the hotel is great and its easy to locate. If you are a people who like to shopping, this is 100% your choice, the hotel surrounded by the shopping malls.

Literally next to the Kyoto Station, great for shinkansen and local transportation. OK sized room, very clean and well appointed.

This is an older hotel so of course the hallways and room have that dated feel, but who cares when they staff are very courteous, room was well kept, & the location is only a 3 minute walk outside the Kyoto Station. For the price & convenience I am glad I choose this hotel rather than some other (cheaper) hotels that also seemed very nice but were much […] more out of the way. I was able to get to the shinkansen early in the morning to explore the whole Kansai area. Mehr

Having stayed in three hotels on my recent trip (also in Osaka and Kobe) the New Miyako was the best of the bunch. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff is helpful. The concierge speaks English and is quite knowledgeable. Negatives: It is not easy to get to the hotel from the main train station (not the Shinkansen side) with large bags […] as there is a lot of up and down. Food in the hotel is EXTREMELY expensive, but there are so many other options right outside. Overall... a great hotel at a reasonable price. Mehr

about half a km from the JR station (taxi fare around 700 Yen) & just across the road from the Kintetsu station - ideal location. Large modern hotel, lovely but expensive breakfast - but no problem as Starbucks is right next door. Also plenty of shopping & local restaurants in easy walking distance. 1 large supermarket in arcade which you can enter […] directly from hotel - also a couple of Family Marts just across the road if you want cheap food. Excellent staff, lovely bathrooms ( big for Japan!) fab views from high floor room to either mountains in the distance or sea in the distance.lovely fountains & square in front. Fantastic location in Shinjuku with friendly staff. subway access at the doorstep of the hotel. Usual sized Japanese rooms but comfy and clean.

A very nice middle-priced hotel. Excellent location across the street from Kyoto Station (Shinkansen side). One nice and uncommon touch: the prices in the shopping area in the basement are less inflated than in most hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was well appointed, clean and even a bit roomy for Japan. It was also right next to the train station. Great value for the money.

I loved this hotel. It was very close to the train station and the Aeon Mall. That makes for easy access to just about anything you can could need or want. The door man was very charming. New Miyako er et stort, sjarmløst hotell. Vi hadde bestilt ikke-røykerom, men fikk et rom som luktet røyk med et ikke fastmontert røyking forbudt-skilt på bordet. Mistenker at skillet mellom røyk- og ikke-røykerom er lite konsekvent. Betjeningen var mindre hyggelig enn andre steder vi bodde i Japan. 宿泊したのは南館で比較的に新しく非常に快適であった。ただし北館は古いようで内容はわかりませんので南館のみの評価とします。

あえて勝手なわがままを言わせていただければ、地下売店で購入した土産だけでなく、他荷物も混ぜて宅配便で送ってほしい。ロービーだけでなく売店でも・・・

駅から近く、朝荷物を預けて観光に行くのも便利。目の前にショッピングモールがあり、ちょっとした買い物も便利。 駅前にも関わらず部屋は静か。隣の部屋の音も廊下の音も聞こえてこなくて快適。また、部屋に加湿機能付きの空気清浄機があり、オートエアコンでも乾きすぎず快適に過ごせました。

Qualità eccellente su tutti i fronti, assolutamente nulla da eccepire. Ottima posizione vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e al capolinea di tutte le linee BUS

il breakfast era molto repetitivo. noi eravamo per 5 mattine , era sempre le stesse cose. Non cera varieta' nel proporre il cibo. Molto nel stile japponese,poco western. Per prezzo e qualita' fa un po'desiderare.
