Das Hotel machte einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Etwas verwunderlich ist, dass sämtliche Lampen und die Klimaanlage rund um die Uhr liefen (wenn die Gäste nicht im Hotel sind, muss kein Licht in der Toilette bzw. im Zimmer brennen). Ein gewisser Schwachpunkt war die Sauberkeit der Tische beim Frühstück, hier wäre es sicher angenehmer, wenn die Tische mal mit einem feuchten Lappen abgewischt werden würden! Das Hotel bot zwei Badetücher sowie alle notwendigen Hygieneartikel (bis auf Zahnputzzeug) an. Auch waren die Zimmer mit einer Minibar und einem Safe ausgestattet. Sehr angenehm war das free - wlan. Das Hotel liegt an der Sixth Ave, wo etliche Busse in die Stadt fahren, so dass man unkompliziert vom Hotel wegkommt.

Sehr schickes Design Hotel mitten in Little India gelegen, das seinen Preis durchaus wert ist. Das junge, freundliche Personal, scheint passend zum "hippen" Anspruch des Hotels ausgesucht. WIFI sowie Minibar sind inklusive. Zusätzlich gibt es jeden Abend Cocktails z.T. auf Kosten des Hauses. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, jedoch durch gute Platzverwendung optimal genutzt. Allerdings können die quasi nicht vorhandenen Abstellflächen bei Doppelbelegung (zwei Personen) nach einigen Tagen sehr nervig sein. Das Frühstück im kontinentale Stil verzichtet fast vollständig auf eine asiatische Note, eigentlich schade. Das Hotel liegt optimal zwischen den MRT Stationen Bugis und Little India, die fussläufig in 5-10 Minuten erreicht werden.

Der Service imHotel hat mich überzeugt, die Reception war sehr freundlich und kompetent besetzt. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und das Frühstücksbuffet gut. Die Orchard Road kann mit dem öffentlichen Bus in wenigen Minuten erreicht werden und der Gratis-Shuttle fährt bis in die Nähe des Marina Bay.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön, nahe am Singapore river. Nächste Metrostation ist direkt neben dem Hotel. Tolles Fischbuffet am Samstag Abend.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit zwei King Size Betten bei Hotels.com reserviert. Leider hat uns das Hotel mitgeteilt, dass es keine solchen Zimmer gäbe. In der Folge hat man in mehreren Anläufen (2 Front Desk Besuche und 2 Anrufe) das Problem behoben ... aber für uns dennoch unter unseren Erwartungen. "ideales Stadthotel"
Grösszügige Zimmer und grosses Badezimmer. Ältere aber angenehme Zimmer-Einrichtung. Sehr gut gelegen. Erhielten freundlicherweise ein late check out bis 14.00Uhr. Frühstückbuffet eher zu teuer. "first class hotel in bester Lage"
Das Marina Mandarin ist ein schon etwas älteres und unspektakuläres Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage mit gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Man genießt Luxus und - mit Glück - eine prachtvolle Aussicht und wohnt in gleicher Lage wie im Raffles oder The Stamford; und das zu einem, für Singapur, vernünftigen Preis.

The switch for the central light surrounding the TV was broken so we couldn't turn out the light. The staff couldn't seem to repair it.

The main atrium is amazing, a fantastic space to sit and chill out. They were happy to serve us a snack and drink even though we arrived just as the lounge bar had finished food service at half past midnight. We had been delayed and were only staying one night they immediately offered to extend our check out time for the next day so we could enjoy a […] dip in the pool before leaving. "conference hotel"
The location was perfect for a buiseness trip to attend a conference but not so good in terms of the hotels attitude to guests. Staff were generally off hand and dismissive. For the price paid I think better holiday hotels can be found.

The Hotel is in a great area and the ambience and service is good. The Hotel has TV's that are from the 50's! Bad reception adn the On-Demand channels are a joke. Buy soem HD TV's and upgrade your On-Demand. The movies have been the same for months. This alone would prevent me from returning...

Hotel is walking distance to Marina Bay Sands, Boat Key and Clarce Key, Raffles and Chimes as well as downtown shopping. Calculate half hour for checking in/out - staff is working tidy but enormously slow. With suchhigh hotel rates it is a shame to pay extra for wifi in your room. Location is great. Easy access from Airport. Connected to multiple malls. The malls had many restaurants, shopping, movies, and even MRT even though I never took the subway--it was next to hotel. Doorman was always helpful in getting taxis.

Good location and amazing atrium lobby BUT no proper health club, so no facilities that one would expect in a 5* hotel, ie steam/sauna etc, UNLESS you are willing to pay 25S$ + in order to use the sauna of the in-house health club! also 2 S$+ to print out each page in black and white from an email makes "checking in online" cost at least 10 S$ (£5) […] by the time one has paid for the minimum time in the business centre + the print out!. Acup of tea and one non alcoholic drink in the bar = 30 S$ (£15) there are better places to stay in Singapore. I felt I was being overcharged at every turn. Mehr
Initial rack rate / standard room`s bathroom had a large area of black mold in shower and smaller areas on underside of washbasin rim & bath. Took digital photographs to Duty Manager and was immediately upgraded to an excellent premium room overlooking the harbour on the 19th floor. Room scoring above based on first room. Apart from the above we found […] this an excellent hotel. Staff were smart, friendly and obliging; breakfasts and restaurants were excellent; reception areas, cafe lounge areas very spacious and relaxing with good decor. Nice touch was "T" lights on tables in evenings. Convenient location for harbour front, Singapore flyer & quay side retaurants.Apart from our one issue we enjoyed our stay very much & would definitely consider booking again. Mehr

We were not satisfied with Marina Mandarin. They did not have the rooms available we requested,,,no connecting rooms...Also one of the rooms had a constant drip from the a/c unit that kept my son and his family awake at night.....It was not fixed until the final day at the hotel so out of 3 nights they only slept good one night....also, the carpet was […] very dated and did not seem all that clean. They did have a nice reception area and enjoyed the birds singing in the morning...Also good locations to shopping and not far from Sentosa Island Mehr

Love the hotel, and the location. Only thing that bothers us is the "Wifi" situation. I find it kinda annoying for such a fine 4 star hotel to have the customer (us) to call in every day for a password to use the "Wifi". And the "Wifi" usage is only LIMITED to ONE electronic equipment per usage in addition to LIMITED 10 hour usages. Once you have pass […] 10 hours the hotel will charge a fee. I have been to plenty of hotels around the world and never have I come across such "cumbersome" process to excess "Wifi" in the 21st century we live in. I would highly advise the Hotel Management to upgrade their "Wifi" excess in par with the rest of the Hotel world. Mehr

This hotel is very nice and in a great location. The showers in the hotel room are quite basic. Mine in particular was broken,which subsequently smacked me in the head during a shower. Maintenance couldn't fix it - so I was moved to a smaller room. Thanks for that! Service at the lobby is very slow and very under staffed so please be patient. The meals […] in a the lobby lounge are reasonably - but $12 ++ for a coffee?? The beds are firm and hard and the remote in my room didn't work properly but I was too tired to complain. My family and I stayed at this hotel last Dec. 25 - 30, 2011. Location of the hotel is very convenient for my family and I and the service upon our check in was very efficient. Much to our delight, we were upgraded to the premium floor! However, when my son and I checked into our room ( i had booked 2 rooms for my 3 sons and myself), i found our room […] not quite clean. the mirror beside the bed was very dirty - full of handprints and smudges. I requested for a cleanup the next day which they did. We had a nice view of the Esplanade which is one of hte reasons we chose the Marina Mandarin.
