Das Hotel besticht durch die sehr gute Lage und freies WLAN. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber funktionell.

Wir waren 4 Tage dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn Station (Lancaster Gate) ist einfach super! Außerdem in erster Reihe zum Park.Wir hatten sogar ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Park. Wer allerdings geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte sich ein Zimmer nach hinten reservieren. Die Hauptstraße vor dem Hotel hört man ein bisschen. Uns hat das nicht […] gestört. Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. Wasserkocher, TV, Safe, Bügelbrett, Fön...alles da was man braucht. Für alle Handgepäckreisende: Shampoo, Seife und Duschgel werden täglich erneuert. Das kostenlose W-Lan funktioniert super. Gepäckraum für den letzten Tag gibt es auch. Außerdem einen Concierge, der einem bei sämtlichen Fragen und Problemen behilflich ist. Auf dem Weg zur Bahn gibt es einen kleinen Kiosk mit Getränken und Snacks. Neben dem Hotel einen kleinen Biergarten. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Mehr

Ein gut geführtes und sauberes Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Die Standard-Zimmer sind etwas klein. Durch die zentrale Lage verkehrsgünstig (Underground, Bus) und wegen des Hydeparks trotzdem im im Grünen.

Das Hotel ist komfortabel und sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer war vorzeitig beziehbar und war per Aufzug erreichbar (ín London nicht unbedingt standard!) Das Hotel ist relativ modern und das Zimmer war zwar klein und relativ dunkel, dafür aber praktikabel und sehr sauber. Zudem gibt es in London besseres zu tun, als seine Zeit auf dem Zimmer zu verbringen.Das […] Frühstück war reichlich und lecker, nur leider musste man früh aufstehen, um eine Warteschlange von bis zu 20 Minuten zu vermeiden. Aber wegen der tollen tolle Lage direkt am Hyde Park, dem freundlichen Personal und dem sauberen Zimmer würde ich das Corus Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Mehr

Das Hotel hat einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht. DIe Zimmer waren klein aber mit allem nötigen eingerichtet. Die Badezimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Einzig die Fenster sind sehr dünn, aber dies ist in England fast nicht wegzudenken bei den alten Hotels. Das Hotel ist mit den Bussen super zu erreichen und die Tube ist auch nicht weit. Für eine Shoppingtour […] ist die Lage top. Mit dem Bus sind es ca. 5-10 Min zum Marble Arch und in die andere Richtung ca. 10-15 Min zum Westfieldshopping Centre. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Wir waren für 2 Nächte Gäste im Hotel Corus Hotel Hyde Park und waren sehr zufrieden. Es war sauber, die Angestellten freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Internet ausreichend und wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Einziges Manko war die Dusche, die zwar sauber war und genug Wasserdruck hatte, aber in der man schon enige Verrenkungen machen musste, […] da es so eng und komisch gebaut war. Mehr

Guten Hotel an schöner, zentraler Lage unmittelbar neben der U-Bahnstation. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Excellent service and location, i'll recommend it to anyone.

The lobby was nice, the room small and tidy and anything but luxurious. My biggest gripe was the mattress. It must have been 20 years old. I could feel the springs under my back and it sagged mercilessly. I will say the staff was cheerful and helpful. I had lost my camera and thought it had been taken out of my room, but appearantly it fell off my belt […] in the lobby and it was returned the morning I left. I was grateful for that. Mehr

VERY SMALL ROOMS

We were delighted with our choice of hotel for our recent 4 day stay. Fantastic location,over the road from Hyde Park, close to Paddington station for Heathrow Express. Only a few steps to the Tube, with fabulous choice of pubs & restaurants close by. Rated room as a 4 because of size.Rooms in London are small, but who wants to spend more time than's […] necessary in a room?Take breakfast option, excellent value . Staff very friendly & obliging. As is the case in big city hotels, the rooms are tiny, but the amazing location of the Corus is well worth the price. Right across from Hyde Park, just a block away from the Lancaster Gate tube (a straight shot to Oxford St. and Tottenham Court Rd), and an easy walk from Paddington. our room was after reading other reviews slightly smaller than others we have stayed in in london but this was made up for by the quality of the room and location only a minute walk to the tube and/or Kensington park we only had an over nighter to see a show and the room was perfect for this but i might think differantly if staying for a week !

The hotel is very conveniently located but is definitely not 4 star. Our deluxe room had a high wall outside our window removing any view. Our hot water jammed on hot making showers painful. However, staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed is really a disaster for me, it's completely worn down i would stay as i can actaully feel the spring underneath the surface of mattress. And the room is a bit stained either.. not sure if it was caused by the A/C or the floor matt, anyway an unpleasant smell.

While the location is wonderful- tube just a block away, hyde park across the street, restaurants and a grocery close by, maintenance was an issue. I had to complain three times and finally ask for a manager to resolve an issue with the draining of the tub. I have stayed here twice now and this time was the only time we had a problem. The hotel is in a great location...close to Paddington and the Heathrow Express, but also right across from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens which are a treat. Many restaurants are nearby. The hotel offers many room sizes--the ones I like best are the executive doubles--more room provided. I keep going back.

Lovely, right across from Hyde Park, wonderful entertainment right on site ( Bel Canto--dinner/opera experience). Rooms a touch bit smaller than American standards but immaculate and beautifully decorated. More than adequate; would definitely stay there again.

!st time to Europe(wonderful time spent) overall Benno (Concierge)was the super best person @ the hotel/helpful!! problem my group and i complain about are the bar/time rules were not very adapting ! When wanting a cocktail (before 11 p.m)has to be handled @ front desk etc.(this is not a good choice as your hotel guest are put "OUT" to go outside the […] hotel to find somewhere else to get 1!! big problem!!! Hotel was close to tube station and opposite Hyde Park so ideal location. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. I had booked a double room but the bed a 3/4 rather than a double so we were moved to a room with a double bed after I complained. The room was on the 10th floor with low ceilings. The bed was a double but a bit too soft. The bathroom […] was a small but adequate although it did smell of cigarette smoke. The hotel looked a bit tired but it was clean. Mehr

Nice hotel near Soho area and right across from the beautiful Hyde Park. Would like to see better menu choices for the hotel restaurant and easier convenience of bar staff. Room service was restricted. but conceirge service was very nice and helpful top notch!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Corus Hyde park for five nights recently. It was a spur-of-the-moment trip to London, and as we had so few days there, location was a must. Corus Hyde Park was perfectly located right next to Lancaster Tube station. There are also several Barclays bike stations right outside the door. The price was fair and the room was […] small but very clean and we did not have any problem with sound. I think people get a bit picky about size: since it was London we both understood we'd be in cramped quarters. I was actually impressed by how many amenities were included in such a small space: a GREAT blow dryer, tea and coffee maker, ironing board, iron, etc. Overall, very impressive. The staff was friendly, too. We got in early an they kept our three bags for us with no problem until we came back to claim them. When our safe wouldn't work the repairman was up in minutes and replaced the batteries in another two. I was very impressed. The breakfast was terrible, though... we payed for it out of convenience one day and 20 pounds each for a hotel breakfast was NOT worth it. I really would stay here again, though. I have so little to complain about and our stay was so pleasant. Mehr

Reasonable price, central location and excellent service!

Tour groups and tourists in general seem to be very much at home at the Corus. It's quite convenient to the sights of London, so no wonder. However, for the business traveler, the amenities are a bit lacking. Uncomfortable beds, cramped toilets, slow Internet (albeit free) and minimal 'comfort space' for workers needing a hotel 'home base' make the […] Corus less than desirable. Breakfast options are limited to a fixed cost buffet (no a la carte), but the hotel next door offered a welcome respite in that regard. The tired, worn-out lobby furniture is the dominant image I'm left with after a 4 night stay. Pass. Mehr

The hotel is well located close to Paddington and the Lancaster Gate tube station. My room was tiny and unfortunately very close to the elevators meaning that I got disturbed by arriving elevators from early morning. The bed wasn't too confortable and the pillow was hard and too thick.

Friendly & proffesional staff, comfortable beds, great location, close to pubs & restaurants. The park across the street. Walking distance from both busy oxford street as well as Notting Hill. Good breakfast. I recommend this hotel!

Me and my 6 year old daugher had a very pleasant stay. Close to Hyde Park, friendly, quiet and with nice big bathtub and the Opera restaurant in the basement. We had everything we needed.

The Hotel was Nice. Our room was so small, with the smallest double I have seen which was cramed in the corner against a wall so to get in and out we had to climb over each other. No clothes storage, just six hangers from a frame, no cupboard or drawers so our case's were on the floor with clothes in. The shower had no power and was very poor. The […] toilet blocked three times. I asked for an upgrade and was refused. This is a four star Hotel and not cheap. The room was clean, modern and well presented but expected a lot more for the price and will be looking in to my statutory rights. Mehr

Having stayed in this hotel many times and recommended it to others, we were disapppointed to be given what was the smallest 'double' room we have seen.(These rooms should have been sold as 'single occupancy' rooms) Double bed was pushed up against the wall, and windows wouldn't open, no wardrobe space, just a metal hanging frame! We complained immediately […] and in fairness were given an upgrade. Our travelling companions 'toughed' it out, but brought it up with the management next morning. We were given complimentary breakfasts. Thank goodness we hadn't paid for it. At £16.95 it was very average! Tables were left stacked with dirty pots, whilst there was a large queue of people waiting to be seated - not enough staff for a Sunday morning. Location of this hotel is fantastic, and we have enjoyed many good visits. Hotel needs management to have a firm hand and bring hotel back to its old standards. Mehr

Excellent location, pleasant staff, somewhat chaotic breakfast but otherwise good experience!

The location is good, staff are friendly and the atmosphere in general is good. Single room size is very small and not recommended.

I arrived at 8:00 am and they gladly checked me in that early with no problems. Located was perfect, room was modern and clean. Internet was free. Loved my stay.
