The first thing to notice is their service. All staff spoke decent English and were able to get you what you wanted (not easy in this city sometimes). The room is clean, well sized and have the general amenities such as Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. The location is relatively central (having regular taxis queuing up on the ouside) and within the […] block, there's my favourite teashop, Smith and Hsu, where they serve the perfect scone and Assam tea! Hotel staff were helpful and efficient in arranging pré-stay admin needs e.g. room details, airport transfers. Rooms were well-apportioned, clean and hotel staff polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends

Friendly, efficient service. Helpful concierge. Well appointed room, comfortable bed and bedding. Walkable to MRT and many restaurants. I had a delicious roast duck and rice meal in the hotel bar restaurant which was reasonably priced.

Very comfortable hotel, accomodations and staff first rate. I arrived to the hotel from Texas, USA needing emergency dental care, concierge arranged dental appointment that morning to satisfy my need. I had to prepare a presentation at the Business Center.... staff was courteous, helpful, and fast!

Excellent. Staff is very polite , professional and refined. Location is in an excellent section of Taipei. Food and Food service was superior.

located in commercial area, may not be the best location for tourist

I had a great stay at Sherwood. THe rooms were excellent very well maintenained. I was using the executive room on the 10th floor. BLV bathroom amenities high speed internet available at a cost ($15/day) Good breakfast Bufffet Good retaurants close by Ruth Chris, Romanos, TGIF, Chilis.

A 5-star hotel, but without offering a free or paid Wi-Fi in the lobby, is the first regret! Also, the staff needs customer service training on the 1st floor's Cafe - they are not friendly and service was too slow. (And tried to chase afternoon tea/coffee customers away while setting up tables for dinner.) Overall, we like the hotel if we would overlook […] the above in-adequacy and incident. BTW - Speaking with the newly arrived General Manager in this location about above conditions, but without his or his staff's positive follow-up with us and NO further action either - is another "miss opportunity" for a good customer service. Conveniently located, close to MRT, friendly and flexible staff. The sound-proofing is a little weak as I can hear the traffic and next door neighbours sometimes. They always remember the little things that I request from previous visits, so a very nice touch. This would be one of my most frequented hotels when visiting Taipei.

During our stay there was a Korean celebrity staying, which created crowd of crazies gathering. Location is not the most convenient but Taipei is just so big. Very difficult to find any trash bins near and in the hotel and even on the street. Check in time is 3pm, very strange as international 5 star hotel latest check in is 2pm and will to accommodate […] and arrange rooms prior. They are very firm on the check in time and no exceptions. Near the hotel walking distance of less then 5 min there is a starbucks, so no need to depend on hotel breakfast and the time limitation. Mehr

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staffs are all very attentive and friendly.

We had a Deluxe room and an Executive room, the Executive room smell damp at first, but after some hours of keeping the dehumidifier running, the damp smell was gone. The Executive room comes with a dehumidifier. The other Deluxe room was rater nice too. The bathroom was beautiful! Excellent staffs!

I emailed the hotel asking directions from the airport and they told me how to get to the closest bus stop... but didn't give any indication how to get from the bus stop to the hotel, leaving me to wander around for far too long. The first two rooms they put me in smelled like smoke. Each time I asked for a replacement they looked a bit skeptical, […] assuring me it was a non-smoking hotel. I find it frustrating when luxury hotels nickel and dime you for things that should be free. For instance, using the (old, slow) public computer in the business center and making local phone calls each incurred a charge. In another directions mishap they told me how to get to a bus stop but didn't tell me which bus line I needed to take. After trekking back and asking for clarification, they insisted that only one bus came to the stop... which was not true. Aside from these things, the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel facilities are nice enough. My experiences with the service might have been aberrations, but tourists should know that the hotel is by no means located in the heart of town--it's quite far east away from the main stuff. Mehr

The Sherwood in Taipei surpassed my expectations. The hotel was extremely nice, very clean, the staff was overly helpful, and the price can NOT be beaten.

The Sherwood Taipei is a great hotel. The location is in the business district of Taipei, which is very convenient as many offices and financial companies are within walking distance or a short cab. The hotel itself is in very good shape. Rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are great. Service is exceptional across the board from restaurant to reception […] to housekeeping. The morning breakfast buffet is decent but not outstanding. The most unbelievable part is that you get this 5 star hotel for $130USD/night. In any major U.S. city you would pay $400. Mehr

年配の祖母と行きました。車椅子の無料貸し出しをしてもらいました。お部屋もキレイで、大きく、景色は普通のオフィス外ですが、朝も夜もわりと静かで、すごしやすかったです。朝ごはん付きにしたのですが、朝ごはんがしっかり、豪華です。あとで聞いたのですが、ランチ、ディナーでも有名なブッフェ式のレストランでの朝ごはんということで、得した気分。5つ星ホテルのなかでは、コスパがいいのでは？と思いました。周りにはなにもないのですが、ちょっと歩くと薬屋、茶芸館もあるので、暇もつぶせます。

ジュニアスイートにアップグレードしていただき3泊しましたが、静かにゆっくりとすごせました。特にバスルーム（含むバスタブ）が広く、お風呂好きの方には最高だと思います。設備、サービスに奇をてらったところはありませんが落ち着ける非常に良いホテルです。

非常に清潔で、良いホテルでした。接客も申し分なく、ほとんどの用件を、ロビーのコンシェルジュ（24h？）で対応可能です。近くには、コンビニ数件、スタバ、モス、パン屋、ファミレス、地元の食堂？があります。移動はタクシーだけで、4日間過ごせました。101くらいの距離で160元前後でした。空港（桃園）まで1200元固定なので、帰りは綺麗なタクシーに乗って帰りました。子連れ、高齢者にはオススメです。日本語も割りと通じました。

Wszystko w porzadku. Tylko slaby internet.

　　サービスはまあまあ良いですが、部屋冷蔵庫の中水の値段は高かった、２７６台湾元、日本円でほぼ800円でした。朝のバイキングは、期待より落ちてます。

服務非常好 客房設備考慮細膩

広くて清潔な部屋。十分な設備。美味しいビュッフェ。親切な対応。満足できました。お父さんの株も 高くなりました。タクシーが安いので、ホテルの立地がちょっと駅から離れているのですが、気になりませんでした。

Suite roomに三泊滞在致しましたが、ベッドルーム及び書斎の空調調整が暖房設定にしても冷風しか出ず寒い思いを致しました。 ホテル全体としてのサービスは質も高く満足といえます。

　10年前にも宿泊しました。大規模リニューアルをしたという話も聞いていないので、建物自体が古いかなとそれだけが心配でしたが、バスルームも特に古さが気になることはなく、快適でした。19階の広めの部屋で、エントランス・バスルーム（浴槽・シャワーブース付き）・クローゼットのエリアと寝室エリアがルーバー扉で区切られているので、落ち着いて過ごせました。 　チェックインそうそう、昔の台幣コインをフロントで見てもらったところ、今では使えないものでした。銀行に行くのも面倒と思いましたが、フロントで気持ちよく新しいコインに交換してくれました。 　松山空港へは荷物がなければ歩いて10分かからないくらいではないでしょうか。かといって空港のせいでうるさいということもありません。ＭＲＴへは５分前後。バス停も目の前。も […] ちろんタクシーもすぐ来ました。 　ただ一度だけ、タクシーでホテルに戻ろうとした時に、住所はわかるものの、ホテルの名前を知らない運転手がいて（北京語で会話、ホテル名も『しーふあふぁんてん、東西の西、中華民国の華』と説明したのですが）、Ｕターン箇所など、こちらが道を教えるということがありました。遠回りになったものの、基本料金でＯＫにしてくれて、いい運転手さんでしたので結果オーライですが。大きなホテルな割りに、ぱっと見てホテルとわかりにくいビル（周りに似たようなビルがたくさんある）ともいえますね。 　こんなささいなことが気になるくらい、満足できるホテルといえます。予算が許す限り、次もここを使いたいと思います。 Mehr

英語や中国語が堪能なら非常に満足のいくホテルです。 チェックインやアウトの時は全て英語での対応だったので戸惑いました。他の台北の一流ホテルは日本語対応が十分されているので。 ただ、勿論、日本語が出来るスタッフはいますが少ないように思います。 エグゼクティブルームから観える景色が隣のビルの壁面だったのはがっかりしました。せっかくバルコニーがついているのに。

友人とスウィートに滞在しましたが、部屋も広く清潔でスタッフもすごく丁寧で親切でした。日本語も英語も堪能でした。ヨーロッパや日本からのビジネスマンが多く、ラウンジなどでもお酒を飲みながら静かに商談していたりするので、小さなお子さんのいる家族連れには不向きかもしれません。大人だけの旅行なら贅沢な気分が味わえてお勧めです。ルームサービスが２４時間あるのも助かります。味のほうはそこそこですが。 スパの方は、予約を受けた受付の人は英語が上手ですが、いざ行ってみると、あまり日本語も英語も通じずに少し不便でした。説明もあまりなく、スパ終了後にお茶のサービスがあると聞きましたが、スパのお部屋でいただくのかと思いずっと待っていましたが、受付まで戻ってそこでいただく設定のようでした。お茶をいただきながら支払い […] の手続きをしましたが、その後も「以上です」とも「ありがとうございました」ともないので、まだサインするものがあるのかとずっと待っていたら気まずい空気に。スパはあまりお勧めできません。 Mehr

This is my second time to staying at this hotel. Still remain good standard. Staffs very nice and helpful.

場所はオフィス街のため中心地から少し離れていて、最寄りのMRT液にも少し距離がありますが、スタッフ皆さんはいつも笑顔で感じが良かったです。部屋も快適で心地よく過ごせました。お部屋のソファーがとても気持ちよかったです。
