Eurobuilding Hotel and Suites - Caracas

Das Hotel ist wie viele andere sehr raucherfeindlich. Es gibt keine Aschenbecher und man darf nur im freien rauchen (und muss den Rest wegwerfen). Ausserdem sind die Leute es nicht im Stande, bei der Lounge (im Eingangsbereich) Essen (z.B. Sandwich) aus dem Restaurant zu servieren. Tragisch für ein so teures Hotel, denn sogar im Zimmer kann das gleiche […] Mahl geordert werden. Der Rest des Services war 1A auch wenn die Dusche vorerst nur Eiskalt oder Sauheiss lief wurde das Problem mehr oder weniger gelöst. Kein Service am Swimminpool aber angenehm um der Verbrecherstadt Caracas etwas zu entkommen... :-) Mehr

The hotel is nice though the Air Conditioner was way high, everywhere was freezing!

I only still waitting for the gift in the room!

Overall ok stay for business trip but make sure to pack vitamins and get your flu shots up to date, this hotel has not changed their air conditioner filters in a while based on a comment from maintenance staff.

The hotel was better than other I tried.

Once you get over the slow and painful process of checking in, the rest of the hotel experience is acceptable since there are not many other options in Caracas that offer the same level of safety and decent service for lodging.

In the morning the water its cold the internet service doesn't work all the times the carpet of the room smells like humidity and the air conditioner its noisy

This hotel has nice amenities, good food, is clean and located in a safe area. Although the overall experience at Eurobuilding Caracas is good, maintenance of the rooms is lacking. My last few stays I have encountered problems with the phones not working, AC system dripping water, minibar not being accessible, safe not working and shower heads not  […] operating. Mehr

Former Radisson hotel seems to be in a good shape. Nice location with plenty of luxory. Bit expensive to eat . Good staff with exc. english. Highly recommended

Good hotel. I going to make the reservation again for Feb.

Standard rooms are not in pristine condition. Executive floor rooms are Hilton quality. The service in the restaurant on the main lobby is not the best for lunch or dinner. The breakfast buffet is excellent. There is a restaurant called foodies which is ok. I give the hotel 2.5 stars out of 5.

The hotel was nice, clean and a sense of security. I got a good deal all things considered with hotels.com. The only thing to be concerned about is to be sure you get breakfast and other incedentals included beforehand. The cost of the mini-bar and the meals can be exorbitant (sp)especially leaving it on a credit card. Otherwise it was a great experience […] with a nice ambiance. Got a bump from a regular FirstClass suite to the bedroom suite of the Presidential suite - so no complaints there. Beautiful room, excellent bathroom with both a shower and a massaging tub. Suites are decent value for money, as they include the excellent buffet breakfast as well as drinks and snacks at the lounge, and airport transfers. I did get […] a stomach flu from the hotel breakfast, but that can really happen anywhere, and my travelling companions didn't catch one, so I guess I was just unlucky! Mehr

rooms are fairly clean (some very tired and need renovation). same goes for the restaurant. the front desk is the smallest I have seen, especially at check-in and check-out times the system is slow and the staff stressed and unfriendly - need angermanagement training and how to do their jobs. just to take a guarantee for three rooms on one cc requires […] 9 fotocopies and 6 signatures!!! and 25 minutes to do so.... Eurobuilding is a great choice for your money and provides guests with a very safe and secure eviroment. The lobby area provides a large and comfortable area where I was able to meet with clients. Restaurants are good and food is of high standard. The only complain that I have was with the beds that are kind of hard and should be replaced. The Eurobuilding is on the safest neighborhood in Caracas...The room was amazing, so was the service. Highly recommended.

Rates offered are many times way better than officlal hotel web site. Hotels.com got me a hotel the same day. If you travel Caracas you know the supply of rooms is far from perfect and requires effort to compare. Hotels.com did all for me.

Overall it's a good hotel. If you take the business package, that includes breakfast and free Internet, you get a nicer room in an exclusive floor. Internet is slow, but I think that's true in Caracas in general.

The area's OK for Caracas. The hotels's very good and the staff are helpful. if you´re going to get a cab, rather than use the over priced hotel ones, just drop down onto the road and you´ll get oone for half the price.

I have stayed a couple of times at the Eurobuilding Hotel. I think this hotel is a great choice for those who look a complete hotel with good food and reasonable prices. Hotel taxis are more expensive than regular ones but much more preferred in a dangerous city like Caracas...

Everybody was very helpful and polite. They even called us to the room to check if we were ok. Great location. Close to good restaurants. Not for walking. Caracas is a city where you defenitely need a car. Loved the bed, very comfortable.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, took 25 mins to check in and on arrival, we got a room that had not been cleaned since last person left so back to reception, another 20 min wait. Next morning we ordered breakfast in bed as a treat and as honeymooners. Breakfast was included in rate so we thought nothing of it. Ususally expect to pay £12 tray service […] etc. On check out they asked for 600BS which if you consider a 2 course meal for 2 and bottle of wine was costing us 400BS a night, you can see how shocked we were to be charged this for breakfast. We tried to argue our case but they were not interested, I was pregnant and very emotonal so burst into tears as we had very little money as was. We got nothing for waiting twice for check in and having to go to two rooms, nothing for the coffee machine being broke in room and door hanging off fridge. It was my honeymoon and they were really mean, they could have upgraded us or done something or refunded half the breakfast fees, I would never use this hotel chain again and I should have taken heed of all the poor reviews I did read but figured people sometimes expect too much. I took advantage of a low rate and booked the first class which is basically a small suite. Perfect. The neighborhood is nice but I recommend a driver and/or a rental. Traffic in Caracas is chaotic....

The rates were good for the quality of the Hotel which was verey high. The TV was not directly at the head of the bed which sucked as had to watcg TV from the sofa instead of the bbed. This is the one thing I would change about the Hotel. The gym was amazing. The restaurant was really good for breakfast even though they were really long lines at times. Didnt […] really go out in the surrounding neighborhood as it seemed to just be a highway and not particularly safe feeling. No shopping or restaurants close by. If you have a car then this is the perfecr Hotel. Its clean, feels safe and the amenties are amazing. Mehr

I had been at this hotel 8 years ago and I really don't know what happened to this company. You can feel just at the entrance that something is wrong. People so cold and uncooperative not even for the tip they offer you to take your bag. Maintenence at the facility is almost ZERO. Rooms terrible. Rugs old, filty, with chewing gum and stains. Bathrooms […] full of mildew and poor cleanliness. Bathtub not working (room 640) is really a shame that a beautiful hotel like this one is in this condition. I had no choice but to stay there because city hotels were soldout due to elections. The first day I had to request a change of room due to even worst conditions to the ones expressed before. Very bad experience. Hotel is safe but area around (Las Mercedes) is very dangerous due to high level of criminal issues like robbery, kidnapping etc. I hope you guys of Hotels.com could do something about this. Mehr

THE TAXI OUTSIDE THE HOTEL LOBBY CHARGES VERY HIGH FARE COMPARE TO OTHER TAXI FROM OTHER HOTELS.

This is a good hotel located in a safe neighborhood. They have an excellent breakfast buffet which is included if you book in "business class". They also serve hors d'ouevres and wine in the business lounge weekday evenings. Foodie Bar has very good food and not expensive. Poolside patio serves great pizza. Beware the lobby bar, as alcoholic drinks […] very expensive. Rooms are nice, modern, clean, have safes, but the bed was extremely firm. They are making a real effort to provide foreign business travellers with the type of experience they would expect from a large U.S. hotel. Overall a good experience. Mehr

...the Eurobuilding is great and my preferred business hotel in Caracas. I had a business suite this time and the room was larger and more updated than the "normal" rooms. The showers are always interesting because there is a problem so far in every single room I've had as far as temperature...cold then hot then cold then warm...no biggie but notable. […] But the towels are plush and nice. Service at the lobby bar is terrible, you have to tackle the waiter to get his attention...the exact opposite of the Foodie Bar in the Mezzanine, where the bartender/server was excellent. The business center on each floor is pretty pointless as far as I can tell...the breakfast buffet is extremely limited and given the great spread in the lobby restaurant, pointless. There is a BW printer, a tv, and some out of date magazines. The Eurobuilding is great if your business is such that you can sit in the hotel and clients come to you all day, as is my situation. Caracas is no fun to drive in, and the Eurobuilding is large and spread out enough that you don't get claustrophobic after a few days of nonstop meetings. Mehr

Caracas is not exactly the safest place for american travelers. This hotel was recommended by relatives in the city. It was clean, safe and affordable through Hotels.com. Booking direct through the hotel website is a huge mistake because the official exchange rate is artificially low - so any form of payment that involves direct conversion at the official […] rate is absurdly expensive. Great hotel for safety if you are traveling into Caracas, but the total cost for a trip here can get very expensive. Breakfast buffet was about USD $45. Dinner at hotel restaurant, not fancy and not buffet, was about $80, and then add the additional charges. a drink at the bar can run you between USD $15 and $40 per, yes, per. Dont forget to add tip, […] service fees, taxes, and you will walk away with a USD$100 charge for a couple of drinks. If you plan on expensing charges, good luck in explaining to your accouting team why breakfast is over $50 and dinner for 1 over $100. Mehr

Checked in to extremely small room on distant wing, mirror in bathroom dirty. Took several phone calls to 3 different persons to get room changed. Not responsive to any requests. I have travelled extensively, and if this were the routine type of service, I would give up travel. Poor customer service at every level!
