Ideal für Leute, die etwas erleben wollen Das Hotel ist auf Badegäste und Nachtschwärmer optimal eingerichtet. Wer nachts seine Ruhe haben will, der sollte sich überlegen, ob er wirklich am Ocean Drive übernachten möchte. Das im Zimmerpreis enthaltenen Frühstück entpuppte sich als warmes Tellergericht, das man aus 5 Varianten wählen konnte. Es wurde […] korrekt serviert, war lecker und von der Menge her für ein Frühstück ausreichend. Für uns ungewohnt: Das Hotel balastet die Kreditkarte für die eventuelle Nutzung der Minibar im voraus mit 100 Dollar. Bei Nichtnutzung wird der Betrag zurückgebucht. Die Benutzung der im Zimmer vorhandenen praktischen Strandstühle, Badetücher und Bademäntel war kostenlos. Für vorsichtige bzw. unerfahrene Autofahrer empfiehlt sich die An-und Abreise zum Flughafen Miami mit dem Taxi. Mehr

Es gibt nicht viel zu sagen.... ein Fantastisches Hotel, in das ich auf jeden Fall wieder Übernachten werde. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer Deluxe gebucht.Die Dusche bzw.das Bad konnte man nur benutzen wenn die Tür offen war.Badfenster einfach eine Scheibe die nicht zum öffnen war drüber genagelt.Keine Abluft.Sehr abgewohnt.

Das Hotel liegt superoptimal zum Strand von South Beach und wenn das Nachtleben von Miami Beach zählt. Das bezahlt man natürlich mit einem Komfort und einer Ausstattung, der nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß ist. Die Klimaanlage war schon deutlich zu hören und das Zimmer könnte größer sein. Aber als Betreiber würde ich es bei so einer Lage nicht anders machen […] - maximaler Gewinn. In dem Wissen war es für eine Nacht für uns genau die richtige Wahl. Mehr

Sehr sauberes Hotel am Ocean Drive. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Mitte des Geschehens. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, den wir vor Ort nur durch Valet Parking ( alles andere ist noch teurer ) abstellen lassen konnten, aber dafür war das Personal des Parkservices stets nett und freundlich. Der einzige Minuspunkt war das "kontinentale Frühstück", dass wir […] in dem angrenzenden Restaurant "The Place" einnehmen konnten, es bestand aus einem trockenen kleinen Bagel, einem trockenem kleinen Croissant, einer Scheibe Toast, einem Stückchen Minibutter die gerade mal so für das Toast gereicht hat, einem Minibecher Frischkäse, einer kleinen abgepackten Konfitüre, einem O-Saft und einem Kaffee oder Tee. Super lage direkt im Epizentrum von South Beach am Ocean Drive. Besser geht es nicht. Die Action beginnt direkt vor der Tür. Art Deco Hotel in sehr gutem Zustand. Zimmer sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Restaurant im Hotel, Valet Parking empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Bin jedes Jahr mindestens ein Mal dort und war immer begeistert.

Die Lage des Hotels liegt am pulsierenden Ocean Drive und bietet direkten Zugang zum Strand. Im Hotelzimmer findet man auch sehr praktische Dinge, die genau auf den Aufenthalt am Miami Beach zugeschnitten sind, z.B. 2 Klappstühle für den Strand, Bademäntel und Regenschirm. Wurde alles dankbar benutzt.

Das Hotel ist ein schönes und sauberes Art Deco Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß, es außerdem ein sehr geräumiger Safe vorhanden.Zu jedem Zimmer gehören noch 2 Sonnenstühle . Das Frühstück bekommt man nebenan im Jonny Rockets, nicht sehr viel aber jedenfalls etwas. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Der Strand ist nur wenige Meter entfernt.Das […] einzige was ich bemängeln muß ist ,das es das Hotel sehr hellhörig ist. Das Hotel war an bester Lage und das Preis-/Leistungsverhaeltnis war gut. Ist empfehlenswert.

Eine Nacht am Ocean Dr zu verbringen ist fast ein muss bei einem Miami Besuch. Zimmer sah aus wie wie die Photos der Buchung.

Sehr gute Lage mit etlichen Restaurants und Bars und natürlich auch dem Strand in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Beacon Hotel liegt mitten an der äusserst lebendigen Ess- und Ausgehmeile von Miami South Beach, sehr zentral, und unmittelbar am Strand. Unser Zimmer 217 war im 1. Stock ganz hinten, daher keinerlei Lärmemissionen vom Ocean Drive. Hinter dem Hotel führt jedoch der Ocean Court durch, eine Strasse zur Anlieferung an die diversen Hotels und Restaurants, […] wodurch auch Lärmemissionen entstanden. So wurden wir täglich um 8:00 von der Müllabfuhr kurz geweckt und eine Lüftung vor unserem Fenster gab ununterbrochen ein leicht surrendes Geräusch von sich. Abgesehen von diesen kleinen Störungen war der Aufenthalt im Beacon perfekt. Der Service äusserst hilfbereit und freundlich, die zur Verfügung gestellten Strandtücher und -liegen sehr praktisch. Die nahe Lage zu diversen Restaurants und dem Strand einfach genial. Das Frühstück wird im angeschlossenen Restaurant serviert. Ist Frühstück inbegriffen, so kann man kann aus 10 verschiedenen Menus auswählen, von spanischen Omletts über Toast bis zu Waffeln. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Mehr

Wir haben das Hotel für unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt gebucht. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Art Deco-Quartier am Ocean Drive. Trotzdem, dass das Hotel mitten an der lauten Partymeile liegt, war unser Zimmer sehr ruhig und wir hatten keine Probleme mit schlafen. Einzig im Hotel selber war es relativ ringhörig. Man konnte teilweise den Fernseher des ZImmernachbarn […] hören etc. Die Zimmer wurden täglich sauber gereinigt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war nicht gerade gross aber für zwei Leute ausreichend. Auch im Bad konnte man sich zu zweit nur knapp aufhalten. Das Frühstück, welches inbegriffen ist, ist sehr lecker. Man kann täglich zwischen ca. 8 verschiedenen Angeboten auswählen (plus Gratiskaffee und Orangenjus). Umgebung: Die Washington Avenue liegt direkt hinter dem Hotel. Der Espanola Way liegt ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Die Lincoln Road liegt ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Der Strand (Lummus Beach) liegt direkt vor dem Hotel. Für weitere Unternehmungen (Everglades, Outlet-Center etc.) ist ein Mietwagen sinnvoll. Das Hotel bietet einen Parkservice an für 20 Dollar pro Tag. Das Auto kann bei Bedarf während 24 Stunden verlangt werden, und es wird einem relativ rasch gebracht. Vorsicht ist geboten bei den vielen Restaurants im Art Deco-Viertel. Diese locken jeden Abend mit ihren Speisen, welche auch teilweise sehr gut gekocht sind. Wenn man aber etwas bestellt auf Empfehlung des Kellners, was nicht auf der Karte ist, sollte man sich vorher nach dem Preis erkundigen. Ansonten kann man bei der Rechnung ein kleines Wunder erleben (ist uns passiert). Mehr

Hotel und Zimmer sehr sauber. Strand und Freizeitpark liegen gegenüber vom Hotel. Leider zeitweise sehr lautstark, da das Hotel an der Hauptfortgehmeile liegt. Dafür liegen viele Lokale in unmittelbarer Nähe sowie die Einkaufsstraße.

Der allgemeine Eindruck ist gut. Die Zimmer mit Meersicht sind schön jedoch etwas laut da die Musik der Hotel Bar bis ca um 02.00 Uhr zu hören ist.

Das Beacon Hotel ist super gelegen mitten am Ocean Drive, 200 m zum Strand, alle Lokale, Bars, Clubs in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir sind zum Abschluss unserer Flitterwochen 3 Nächte im Hotel Beacon gewesen und waren sehr zufrieden.Das Hotel ist sauber und gemütlich und die Leute an der Lobby wie auch das Servicepersonal äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage mitten am Ocean Drive ist zwar etwas laut und hektisch,aber für STrandanbeter und Nachtschwärmer perfekt. Nicely refurbished rooms and comfortable bed. The walls are a little thin so I could hear the conversations next door. The included breakfast and wifi was appreciated. The Beacon hotel is right on the beach and walking distance to everything you might need. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.

(1) Great hotel staff. The front desk really went above and beyond. A young gentleman and woman were especially helpful. The gentleman actually ran to the restaurant to get us a cup of coffee when we asked if the morning coffee was still available. They also didn't charge us for valet parking after we mentioned how rude the parking attendant had been. […] Which leads me to: (2) Incredibly rude valet parking attendant. He actually yelled at my wife when she asked him what he wanted the keys for (we were just checking in and didn't want him to take the car until we had unloaded). Upon leaving the next day, the new valet attendant seemed normal and kind. (3) Our particular room was in the "basement" location. It wasn't a bad room itself, but the window is painted and a second door opens to some type of dark, covered alley. There appeared to be only two bad "basement" rooms, so your chances of getting a good one are pretty good. Mehr

Overall not a bad hotel... I would just suggest updating the beds to better mattresses. Would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. Great location and the staff was great as well. Would stay there again anytime I am in Southbeach.

We got a last minute reservation and ended up in a windowless ground floor room. I don't recommend the restaurant out front. Their drink prices are criminal. Buyer beware.

Great location, helpful staff

My Husband and I were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and booked a room ahead of time with Hotels .com.We booked a ocean front room.When we arrived we were told there wasn't a oceanfront room available because the room we were supposed to stay in was occupied with luggage from the people who were supposed to check out.Those people came in that night […] late and stayed in the room.I asked them why they couldnt store the luggage and let us have that room.They said as long as the people had a credit card on file they couldnt remove their luggage.I was furious but given it was easter weekend we had no choice.....What a horrible way to treat customers...I would never recommend this Hotel... Wonderful experience!!! the Beacon is right SMACK in the middle of everything..LOVE IT!!! The room was very clean but a little tight but this is Miami..the front desk personnel were all wonderful..i got to meet them all arrived mid morning and left the hotel early morning..everyone was very courteous, kind and accommodating....the beds were very comfortable..the […] towels were amazingly soft and fluffy..i would go back there just for the fluffy towels:)...the staff were very attentive to our needs..loved the business center and available printer for check-in plane boarding passes. free wifi could easily connect...loved it!!!wish i stayed there longer but had to go back to reality...the free breakfast was great too..my family and i got to sit outside in the morning and enjoy the hustle and bustle of South Beach..if u stay here you won't be disappointed!! This hotel has excellent staff who show great interest in making guests feel comfortable. The room was cleaned very well each day, and maintenance seemed good overall. The location is superb for Miami beach and all the restaurants. Our room on the fourth floor was quiet every nite, though the music out front was loud. Live music performances at the […] hotel and others on the street were a bonus. Sunday arrival wasn't fun due to congestion on the street and beach, but the weekdays at the beach were much less so, and the beach is very nice. Mehr

if you care about cleanliness, this place is for you. very clean hotel. but very small room. was expecting something a little bigger. i guess you are paying for location. close to parking garage and to many other restaurants and shops on washington and collins.

The Beacon Hotel is located on the south beach which is the most popular area on the Ocean Drive. The beach is on the opposite site which you can reach to the Atlantic Ocean within few minutes - It's very convenient. On the day-time, you can enjoy sun-bathing or walking along the beach. When the sun set, you can enjoy the nightlife!!! -- until the late […] night or may be early morning... Please do not expect to sleep in the comfortable and non-noisy room, but please expect to enjoy and relax with the nightlife!!! Mehr

Beautiful hotel! Funky deco style, yet not kitchy like some of the others. Sophisticated. Room had marble floor which I thought is much more sanitary than carpet! Bed was a little too soft (down everything!) which is my only complaint! There was an outdoor seating area convenient to our room which was very private. Our room was right over the lobby […] and even though the Ocean Blvd crawl goes on well into the wee hours, the place is quite soundproof- I didn't hear a thing! Would definitely stay again! Mehr

Husband surprising wife with a get-away weekend at the quintessential Art Deco landmark before a Bahama cruise was the best start we could have hoped for. Gus helped us find Grazie Italian Cuisine for a wonderful dinner, a relaxing night in a cozy room, and spending a day across the street at the beach , a bike ride around town before boarding the ship […] was all she needed to get relaxed. Great location, exceptionally welcoming staff, room very clean, though small, which we knew ahead of time and did not care about a bit. Unexpected treat of breakfast included.

Hotel Rooms are very small and bathroom REALLy small. OK we stayed 2 nights ate breakfast there 1 morning only...

This hotel is in a great location- clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and let us check our things in early and our car out late (without charge). The breakfast (included) was excellent. I would definitely go back.

Arrived and were sent to a tiny room with an even smaller bathroom with a view of the adjoining roof vs the hotels description of an "ocean or garden view". Complained and were given an ocean view (tops of palms really) room that was very nice. Fun area and bar-in the middle of the S. Beach action. But make sure you get what you pay for! The ocean view […] nice rooms normally cost more. The "garden view" is a side view of a 5' garden between two five story buildings, but no big deal if the room is as nice as the front facing rooms. I love this hotel. Stayed here a few years ago and forgot how nice it is. Most of the deco hotels in this area are pretty crappy, providing minimalist features. This hotel is really well taken care of. The rooms are not only clean, but they give the feeling of real quality from the bathroom to the beds (oh how comfy). I've had to spend the better half […] of the day in the room for work, and I have really enjoyed it. My room is near the back of the hotel with no view to speak of, but I don't mind. It's quiet, comfortable, and I can walk out the front door to all that SoBe is. Nightlife and shopping galore. HAd breakfast here at the hotel outside this morning and it was great. I would stay here anytime and expect a great stay. Mehr

Not close to a 4 star hotel. More like 2-3 stars. poor communication with staff. ( asked for coffee in the room, they stated they did not provide room service, but would bring it any way, then never brought it when we walked out of our room later down the hall near our room was a coffee stand it would have been wonderful experience if someone would […] have simple stated, " there is a coffee stand near your room by the elevator" then we would have had a much better stay. No one helped with luggage. I paid $20 for them to park my car, which was fine, but then had to wait 30 min. For them to return it. Bathroom was reasonably clean. Also there was an old lady who kept following us around and was periodically just standing outside our hotel room door. Interesting art deco decor. Beds were comfurtable. But overall way over priced and an odd experience. Mehr

This hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. I only have one complaint. They offer a free full breakfast not "continental" as the website says. It goes from 9-11 am. I was there for business so those times are bad for me. On one of my two mornings there, the front desk helped me to arrange to sit down and eat a few minutes earlier. The room itself was nice enough and clean, though one bed had an older mattress which creaked and sagged a bit. But the staff were extraordinarily helpful in assisting us with our toddler, and the location was fantastic. Would stay there again, knowing not to expect luxuries.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms are small, but fortunately we did not need to spend much time in it.
