Dieses Hotel kann man jederzeit weiterempfehlen, denn hier ist man wirklich gut "aufgehoben". Das einzige Manko war die Kälte - und das war für uns in diesem Fall wirklich schwerwiegend: Unser Zimmer war extrem kalt. Es war so ungemütlich, dass man sich hier unter Tags nicht wirklich aufhalten wollte und in der Nacht spürte man, dass ein kalter Luftzug […] über die aus der Decke herausstehender Nase wehte. Das Zimmer ist leider nur mit einem einzigenFensterglas nach außen hin abgeschlossen, was eher zur globalen Welterwärmung als zum Isolieren beiträgt. Dass das Heizproblem das ganze Haus betrifft, hat uns unsere Cousine bestätigt, die in einem anderen Zimmer in einem anderen Stockwerk wohnte, bestätigt. Sie hat sich ebenfalls an der Rezeption beschwert aber es konnte ebenfalls keine Abhilfe getroffen werden. Alles im Allem: Nettes, schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr schönen Zimmern - echt zu empfehlen! Aber im Winter leider ABSOLUT UNBENUTZBAR! Mehr

In a good central location close to the Station (5 minutes), The Slade Rooms venue (2 minutes) and a number of pubs & food outlets if you only want a bed without any thrills then the Britannia is perfect. Unfortunately the Hotel is in need of renovation. Our bathroom had mould all over, probably due to lack of ventilation and the suite was cracked. […] The bedroom itself was OK apart from the rather grubby curtains but there was a slight smell of stale smoke. We also had difficulty getting into our room as the receptionist who checked us in hadn't told us about the "knack" needed to open the door. All in all though I woulds stay here again if I need to stay in central Wolverhampton because the price and location are for my needs perfect. I recommend looking at your room and bathroom before getting settled & if you're not happy with any aspects of them ask reception to move you. Mehr

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it was filthy wallpaper bits missing thebathroom was covered in moild a bucket in he hall carching water from the ceiling and the windows were black thecarpets dirty. And the breakfast you could not eat

Hotel is in desperate need of a re-vamp. Our room was road facing, single glazing so was very noisy and the curtains didn't fit the window. Very tired, dated room, old TV with remote control held together with tape. Breakfast prices are quite expensive for the quality of the food, even charging a child price of £5-6 for a bowl of cereal.

Good service. We had to change room because of no heating in our bathroom. But the service around that change was very good. And we got a better room !

The room was nice and clean - much nicer than expected given some reviews. Would definitely stay here or in another Britannia for the prices they offer.

The Hotel is close to the station and quality pubs. The atmosphere is amazing. The building is a beautiful Victorian one that looks very luxurious and reminds of old times although Wifi, tv, etc work perfectly well.

Made all of us feel welcome. Staff including manager were pleasant and helpful. We will stay again when we are in this area.

The first night of my 3-night stay,I was in a cold draughty room with the springs of the bed protruding into me,in the Hotel smoking section,even though I booked a non-smoking room. For the second night i was moved into the non-smoking section and was much more comfortable but the TV did not work. On the last night my TV was fixed but the phone charger […] for my i-phone was taken from my room and I have never got it back or been reimbursed. Mehr

Toilet very untidy. Staff not very helpful Would not recommend to any friend. Location of the hotel very good. The ironing room was the worst ever seen.

I stayed for 3 nights for a business trip. My room on the second floor had everything I needed and was well presented. Only two negative points - the shower temperature was hard to regulate (I didn't mention this to reception, I'm sure that if I had they'd have tried to help). The other thing was a group of men who stayed there who were holding a conversation […] in the corridor at night but their thoughtlessness is not a fault of the hotel. Mehr

Excellent location, in the Wolverhampton city centre. Two minute walk from train station, pubs, restaurants and shops within a minute's walk. Less than ten minutes from Molineux football ground. Good room standard to a nice price. Professional crew.

Value for money, but - cold bathroom floor.

Excellent location between city centre and transport connections and handy for theatre. Clean and comfortable.

This hotel looked very inviting from the outside, our room was very and I mean very small, you couldn't swing a cat in it, maybe thats why pets arn't allowed, it did have a bath , the bathroom was on a lower level of the room, the hotel has no parking, there is parking nearby at the train station, so it's not a big issue. The breakfast was OK but the […] tea and coffee is best avoided... I would use the Novatel next time , even though this hotel is closer to the town and the station.. Mehr

the hotel brittannia in wolverhampton was in an ideal location because it was central to all amemities . it was very cosy and had friendly staff and i would recommend it to others . we shall be staying there again

Ideal location. Close to all the local shops bars and amenities. Not far from the station. Very clean. Quiet. Will definately go back.

The bed in my room was definitely an antique, covered with some new bedding making it look acceptable however upon closer examination it was ancient and disgusting. The hotel is in a good location, but the entire interior needs to be ripped out and re-built. The rooms are a good size, if you are building a closet. They are tiny. The service was good, the people were friendly. The room was “clean” but the bed mattress must have been an antique. It was awful. The rooms are so small it is almost claustrophobic. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would definately stay at this hotel again. The room wasnt too big but was cheap,well equiped and clean so was perfect for an overnight stay in wolverhampton. It is very close to the city centre with lots of shops and bars nearby.

This is possibly the worst place I've stayed! For one, the staff doesn't even know what street the hotel is on nor what's within 3 blocks! The carpet in the room had so many stains and was dirty. The window in the bathroom rattled all night and the lights outside could only be kept out by drawing the curtains--then, no air was able to get in the room. […] It's close to the train station, but it's the only redeeming quality. There's no place to park or drop off luggage. Staff said to park in 'Loading Zone', but then received a parking fine 3x the room rate. Never going back. Mehr

We had a great time, the employees are really friendly and the Hotel is in a very great and strategic location. I congratulate this hotel and I hope that you keep up like that. I would definitely advice anyone to go there.

The brittania hotel in wolverhampton is central a short walk to the civic centre, next to the grand theatre close to the shops and railway station .I read some reviews that put me off a bit but we thought it was lovely the rooms were lovely and warm, beds comfortable ,and the room was nice and clean ,The breakfast was lovely and we found the staff pleasant […] and helpfull . The room was satisfactory for a standard buisness one night stay. However the breakfast was very expensive for a very low standard of food, presentation and cleansiness. The waiter was very nice though. Miss the breakfast. Lots of other places to gradb something.

We booked this hotel as we was invited to a customer's 40th birthday party in Wolverhamton. (we live in Nottingham) We found the hotel very cheap online which we didnt quite believe at first. On arriving at the hotel we struggled a little for parking, but soon found an an ncp carpark across the road which was only £6.90 for 24 hour. the hotel reception […] was helpful & we quickly checked into our room. The whole hotel could do with a major redecoration !! but if your literally just sleeping there and checking out the next morning, there is no need to pay anymore. Overall a bargain Mehr

This hotel was dirty had to ask 6 times for heating to be put on and when it was it was on for 1 hour no one never come to check the heating. The staff were rude including the manager. Was meant to stay for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. I was not expecting great things for this hotel but I thought I would at least get heat I would never stay […] again and would recommend that no one else does either Mehr

For the price this hotel is fine - don't expect too much! Layers of dust here and there in my room and a couple of cigarette packets between the wall and the bedside cabinet were a concern and remained there all week even though the rest of the roomwas cleaned well enough (I assume they've been cleaned up by now!). It's an older hotel so at least the […] walls aren't like the thin ones in more modern hotels which allow your fellow residents to distrub. Overall I would stay here again but not for a full week, but a few nights should be fine. Mehr

The hotel's initial appearance supprised us as we were expecting something a lot more drabbier. The male receptionist was proffessional but a bit short but thje cleaning lady who helped us find our room was very sweet and helpful and made up for him. Our room was very comfy with one double and a single bed, plenty of room for two or even three people […] to get ready. The beds were comfy and clean, and the bathroom was clean and functional with plenty of towels, soaps etc. The hotel itself is a couple of minutes walk to the train station and the Slade Rooms where our gig was on plus we could see it was nexty to the theatre and only a short walk into town. I would recomend this hotel if you were staying for a long weekend or a short stopover. It isn't the most opulant but for somewhere to crash that is clean & functional it is ideal. Mehr

After driving 3 hours to hotel it was a shock not to find any free parking there and had to park in a public car park nearby which charged a fair amount to stay. Check in was ok got asked if we fancied breakfast for our stay which we declined as we had to leave hotel early each morning to go to Alton Towers. We got to our 1st room and had a shock as […] it was a double not a twin. Problem got resolved very quickly. The reception staff were polite all days. The room itself was lovely and large, beds were comfy bathroom was adiquate (although water temp not too great). Tea/Coffee facilities were ok although we had to buy some tea, coffee and sugar from a shop as we did like our hot drinks. The beds were ok, my friends was nice and soft (good for her as she slept well), and mine was quite hard but enough to sleep in. Street noise can be clearly head i.e. nightclubs and buses (starts around 0530 the first bus i heard). Room cleaniness was adequate. The lifts in the hotel i would avoid using as it does seem to take ages when called and doors to close. I wouldnt use this hotel if your planning to drive up but train station is only a short walk away. The hotel was ok for us great for a nights stop-over but any longer and wouldnt advise it. Mehr

i will never think to go to that hotel again rooms have broken mirror, tv never worked bathroom the flooring was all over the place common area carpet was rubbish lounges have troune sofas not worth a penny

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The first three nights were good because of staff friendliness and clean room, however, the last day we stayed was saturday. Nobody came to clean the room and somebody had a birthday party from 9pm till 5am so didn't have any sleep!

Perfect location for Public Transport - Right by the bus station, 2 mins from the train station and 5 minutes from the Metro terminus. There are public paying car parks nearby if you are travelling by car. Externally, the hotel is a lovely old building, inside it is smart and clean, and basically, with the plusses and minusses of an old building. We […] had the economy room, it was fairly small, but it had a reasonable size bathroom and a bed - What else do you need? I spend as little time as possible in the room. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Saturday night was a bit noisy, but not unbearable - The clock in the bus station was irritating (But not loud) as it sounded more like a mobile phone alarm than a real clock! Breakfast was OK, more English than Continental, although if you get a 'room only' deal like us, Wetherspoons over the road gives a good, cheap alternative. We paid a ridiculously low price, and felt that we had a real bargain. It's not the Ritz, just a good basic hotel. Mehr

Disappointing for a 3 star hotel even for the UK.No parking unhelpful staff, elevators that did not work properly and nobody bothered to fix them. For the UK roms were fair and the central location perfect in a small town but beware of the bus station next door that starts at 6 am and the night clubs on Saturday
