Das Hotel besticht ganz klar durch seine Lage. In nur ein paar Minuten ist man schon an der Bourbon Street und allen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Check in war nicht so toll, um 11 mal vorsichtig angefragt ob wir einchecken können, da war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, ok das kann ich verstehen aber das ich um 17 Uhr beim einchecken nochmal eine Stunde […] auf ein Zimmer warten muss, finde ich dann nicht mehr so lustig. Die Zimmer, zumindest unseres lag mit Fenster in die Eingangshalle, also ohne Tageslicht, dass empfanden wir nicht weiter schlimm, da wir eh nur zum übernachten im Zimmer waren. Das Hotel macht einen sehr noblen Eindruck, und die Zimmer sind sehr groß und in perfektem Zustand. Einzige Minuspunkte sind der fehlende Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer und dass die Zimmer nur Fenster in Richtung Gebäudeinnenseite haben und somit kein Tageslicht herrscht. In Anbetracht der Großsstadtlage (Straßenverkehr und umliegende Hochhäuser) ist dies […] aber zu verschmerzen. Die Innenstadt incl. Bourbon-Street ist zu Fuß in etwa 5min zu erreichen. Mehr

Das Hotel lag nur wenige Minuten, zu Fuss, von den für Touristen bedeutenden Punkten entfernt, z.B. Bourbon Street, historisches Viertel (French Quarter), Museen, Fluss, Aquarium, Casino und streeet cars. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte immer für alles, ob negativ oder positiv, ein offenes Ohr. Die Zimmer waren sehr […] geräumig und hatten eine gut, fast geräuschlos funktionierende Klimaanlage. Der coffeemaker war nicht nur ein Heißwasserkocher sondern eine kleine Kaffeemaschine mit pads, die täglich ergänzt wurden. Das "Office center" ermöglichte nicht nur den Internetzugang, sondern man konnte auch online den Rückflug einchecken und die Bordkarte ausdrucken. Nachteilig war, dass die Zimmer keine Aussenfenster hatte und man von der Aussenwelt praktisch abgeschnitten war. Auch die nicht vorhandene Minibar erforderte, das der Weg zum icemaker von der fünften Etage zur dritten führte, weil dort der einzige funktionierende stand. Wir hatten 3 Übernachtungen in diesem Hotel. Es liegt sehr zentral, paar Minuten von der Bourbon Street und auch nicht weit vom Jackson Square entfernt! Das einzig negative: wir wollten vor 3 pm einchecken - war nicht möglich, kein Frühstück inklusive und wir haben unseren Nachbarn sehr laut schnarchen gehört (als wäre er neben uns im Bett gelegen). […] Ansonsten top und sehr empfehlenswert! The Hotel was fine, the staff was very helpful and accomidating. The location was off the active tracks but still within a couple of blocks. The room was a little small for space, closet and bag accomidation was limited. We did like the new City Grill next door, this was helpful for breakfast in the morning.

Great location, most of the staff was very friendly & helpful. However upon departure we asked the desk to order a taxi & we waited almost an hour. The cab driver said we could have easily got one a few doors away on Common. Last time 2 of us got a double, this time three of use got a suite. The suite was very roomy. The pull-out bed for our third person was barely acceptable for an adult. The room was in huge need of update. Housecleaning was fine, but we felt that there needed to be more awareness that three adults were staying in the room, with more cups, coffee and […] towels. We love the downstairs staff, the maintenance staff, the coffee shop and the general kindness of everyone at the Wyndham. Close to tourist attractions. Parking lot attendants and desk people as well as cleaning staff were very hospitable. Too bad we could not print on hotel computers as we were not able to take advantage of discount coupons for bus tours.

The hotel is in a great location and served it's purpose. When the room was cleaned daily there were things that were not thrown out. A coffee cup lid on the floor, a clearly used up plastic cup. The bathroom tissue was also not replenished. We had a spare so that made it but if i ran out I would have had to call to have some sent up. Also, you have […] no windows to see outside. Employees ALL went out of their way to be extra nice and to do anything they could to make our stay the best ever. Well it worked. Overall the room was nice, clean and housekeeping kept up. My partner and I stayed here after coming back from our cruise. We picked here because of the price and it was close to Bourbon and Canal. We debarked from the ship and I booked it online in the car, since it was really early in the morning we didn't want to just sit and wait around for 3pm for check in and decided to see if we could check in early. […] Had no problems at all and no extra charge or anything. Courtney was the best! I mean I literally had just paid for the room less than 10 min. prior to asking about the early check in. The room was fantastic, big comfy bed and pillows, super clean, quick check in, walking distance to great restaurants and attractions, and a quaint coffee & snack shop. All the staff was really nice, from hailing us a cab to giving directions to some great places to try out. Will definately stay with them again! Mehr

The parking garage can hold around 25 vehicles and it is very cramped with pillars taking up actual parking spaces. The hotel itself is a hotel, but if I stay here again I would not dare to mess with their garage.

This is a decent hotel. When we got there the power was out, and stayed out until late into the night. Also, the hot water was irregular. Other than that, this is ia nice hotel with a good locations.

The hotel was clean and pleasant. Appears to be a collection of high rises with a central lobby, so no outside window in our room. There was a bag of trash from other rooms left in the room by the maid. Not cool. Also, the hotel no longer has a restaurant or bar. Otherwise, we were very pleased.

Check-in and out was smooth. Had to call for taxi or walk a block to catch one. Hotel was somewhat centrally located...had to do a lot of Walking though but we didn't mind. We could never get the front desk to answer the phone when we called. The room smelled like toilet water but was clean as far as we could tell. Staff would just knock once and then […] enter before we could answer. They walked in on us at least three times during our stay. Only option for food was the vending machine or the small cafe open in the mornings with not very many choices. No concierge that we could find. Baggage carts were scare also. The hotel is ok. I expected more for what I paid. Ventialtion system in this hotel is horrible. Some parts of the lobby smell like a toilet. Perhaps it is a cleaner that they use. The situation is worsened by the fact that many, if not all, rooms, including mine, have windows only facing the inside of the hotel, so it is impossible to air out the room. […] The A/C system is old and can only heat or cold the room. It is impossible to set a specific temperature. As a result at night it is either very stuffy (you don't turn on the A\C), very cold (if you do, but you dont guess the settings right). It is so rare to not have a refridgerator in your room now. Would have really liked to have one. Also, housekeeping must have used a lot of bleach to clean the bathroom sink. When I leaned against it, it took the color out of my skirt. Ruined! Otherwise, good stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was ok. Our door didn't shut properly so if you weren't careful it would slam such others did and you could hear it. The people next to is were so loud constant partys. 3 in the morning screaming from who knows the lobby? You could hear all levels. We were on 5 and you could hear screaming in the middle of the night. It wasn't Marti gras we […] were not there to party we thought we were far enough away from bourbon but it was still loud. Everything was great! The only problem was at the time of my check in they had me booked for a double room instead of a single! I had to show the manager my conformation email to get things straight! They changed my room with no problem. I will most definitely come back and stay again!!!

Christian was always ready to do an "extra mile" to assure great service (including helping us to start our car with cables when it just got stacked at the parking lot). The location was excellent, the room was clean and the service was awesome! The free WIFI was great and should be a standard in all hotels. There were only 2 drawbacks, the room was cold, even at the warmest A/C setting, and there was an outlet in the room that was loose and tripped a circuit when I plugged in a laptop.

The location was great, the room was clean, and we got a good night's sleep, but the service was lacking at times, bordering on rude. Of the 3 reception people we interacted with, 2 were not very friendly or helpful, but the 3rd was wonderful. The room seemed a little small with an odd layout, but the comfortable beds made up for that. We had a delicious […] breakfast at the restaurant off the lobby, which also had really great service, the only disappointment was when we gave them our credit card and found out at that point that it was "cash only". They should post this somewhere just in case a potential guest is not carrying much cash. Mehr

I booked at a Wyndham hotel because they are usually very high quality. I was extremely dissatisfied with this particular hotel. We arrived at about 9 pm on a Sunday night and were told they had no valet parking and we would have to find our own parking that night and if we were lucky they might have space the next day. So I went and found parking, […] fortunately there was space available within walking distance. The next morning I was told I could park the car myself and the spot they gave me was much better suited to a moped and not a car. I drove the car to the front of the hotel and told them there was no way I was parking the car in that spot and they would need to park it in their valet lot. The next problem was when I asked the hotel clerk to call a cab and was told it would take to long and I should walk a couple of blocks away and hail my own cab. The last problem was with the internet service, oh wait I couldn't get internet service in my room. When I complained the desk clerk shrugged their shoulders and said oh well. I intend to go back to New Orleans in the near future but will never use this hotel chain again. Mehr

Arrived late and the hotel had given away the king room I had reserved. Front desk was apologetic. Room was probably the worst room I've had at this hotel and I've stayed many times for work. Overall not too bad but I'm less and less enamored of this property. The quality vs. cost equation is no longer as balanced.

Since we drove a truck we couldn't park in the onsite parking garage. We had to valet park at a remote garage. The day after we arrived we waited one hour for the car to be brought back to the hotel. They took it off our bill. Also, our toilet got stopped up. The window in our room had lots of condensation. Even the sheer curtains had black mold. There […] was a weird clicking sound the last night in the corner. Don't eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant if you are in a hurry. It took 45 minutes for three simple orders.
