"Poor beds"
Incredibly unsupportive mattresses, ruined an otherwise good stay.

The room was nice and open, good for our family. The whole floor was supposed to be non-smoking but smoke was coming into the hallway from someone's room on our floor and wing. It was very nauseating, and I'm sure can be taken care of. My wife in the mean time had headaches from it. The hotel offered another room the next day but we were leaving. "Convenient"
We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were able to get early check in, lots of towels, breakfast, and the convenience to all our sights made our stay perfect. Thanks for the Sleep Inn Urbandale, Iowa.

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel and I will continue to stay here in the future. Its always been very clean and comfortable. The wife and I love the pool and the hours its open. The breakfast could offer a little more in selection but that is just a minor issue. I look forward to my next stay.

We have stayed in many many hotels, but we have settled on the Sleep Inn in Urbandale iowa as our favorite place to stay for a night or two. The staff is always very professional and friendly and accomodating. We especially like to bring our puppy with us and have always been welcome to. Staff were VERY accomodating and friendly. The rooms and overall condition of the motel was a little bit run down. The cost of the rooms are more than the value. Would probably stay again due to location, but will also check prices of the new motels in the area.

"Good Value"
This hotel offers great value in my opinion. The rooms are clean and spacious. The continental breakfast which features a Belgian Waffle station and a copy of USA Today is also a nice compliment to the stay.

I stayed here for 1 night, but I would definitely stay longer if I needed to. The room was really nice, and you could tell that they had all been recently updated. The bathroom was really nice, especially the shower. I wish I had that shower at my own place! It's right off the interstate, and the restaurant right next door is really good. The continental […] breakfast was pretty big, bigger than a lot of other hotels I've stayed at. It had pretty standard offerings, but there was a lot of choices. I'd stay here again. Mehr

The building is a bit odd; the bathroom, for example, is small and the shower is a round bulge that extends into the hotel room. The heat/air conditioning system was hard to understand. The thermostat on the wall controls the unit on the window, but I could only get the fan to run a few minutes at a time. The staff is very friendly. They'll help you […] with anything. They layout of the building is nice, since open stairways are as easy to get to as elevators (which are slow, as hotel elevators always are, especially in the morning). The grounds are pretty, don't miss a short walk to the PERFECT evergreens and fragrant flowerbeds. The location is great if you want to see the model farm near it, but if you just need a place to stay, it's just another hotel. For the location, though, it's far enough from highway 6 that it's not loud or distracting with traffic noise. The breakfast was very good. Check-in and check-out were easy. I wouldn't recommend it for my purpose, which was a convenient location for a business meeting, but it would be fantastic for someone making a getaway to the farm or the nearby shopping. Mehr
