Days Inn Eagan Minneapolis Near Mall of America - Eagan

The linens, while technically clean, were stained and therefore considered dirty.

The rooms were very clean. The pool had an overabundance of towels and was quite clean. The people at the front desk always greeted us with a "Hello!" when we walked in. My children and I were looking for a Chinese Buiffet Restaurant during our stay and there was this very nice lady behind the desk (I wish I had found out her name) that called around […] to find a place for us. She wouldn't stop till she found us just the right place. Then on Friday night my children and I decided to stay in and order pizza and their were so many to choose from. My daughter asked Pete at the front desk that night and he recommended a place. He was not wrong. It was very delicious. I felt that both of these people went out of their way for me and my chidlren. No major problems with the room; sheets weren't perfectly clean but overall the room was fine.

The hotel was great. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when asked about locations to eat. Less then five minutes from Mall of America. Only complaint...bigger beds...lol

4.3 miles to the mall of America and 4 miles to downtown Minneapolis. Fun town and friendly staff! New flat screen TV's. The beds could be a little more comfortable but overall great

My daughters and I stayed for a week while on a shopping trip. It was a wonderful hotel and we will definitely be staying again. The rooms were very modernly decorated...small but perfect. We recently spend a week at this hotel which was booked through hotels.com, we loved it, the hotel was very clean the rooms were a great size. Outstanding service and people!

We chose this hotel even though it had a couple bad reviews and we are extremely glad we did! We had one minor hiccup with some other guests but once it was brought to the staffs attention they handled it immediately. The pool was kind of small but adequate. My fiance and I have stayed at other hotels since this stay. We miss this hotel. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we come to the twin cities. I don't remember the the name of the front desk woman that day. She was fabulous. I wish we could remember her name, she made our stay very […] enjoyable. She was an older woman, that's all I can remember. She had a great smile every time we came in. We came to the twin cities to visit the Mall of America. We have already recommended this hotel to others. I reserved the room online before we got to the hotel. It made check in and out very easy. very friendly staff. made our trip very convenient, especially with the shuttles. we had a problem with the door for the first room, but we were quickly switched to another room. overall a satisfying stay

We stayed here over New Years. The room actually exceeded my expectations because it was roomier than I expected, and it had a huge flat screen tv. The free breakfast is always enjoyed by my kids! The only thing was that they made us sign a pet waiver that said that we couldn't leave our dogs in the hotel room alone because if other guests complained […] about parking then we would have to pay for any discounts the hotel would have to give to those guests. So that had us very nervous, even though our dogs don't bark a whole lot. We had never had to sign that waiver with Days Inn or any other hotel before. Mehr

The staff and accommodations are as good as we've ever had. We still ended up with a smoking room, but that is where they put people that have dogs and I can understand that. They did however double charge our room to my credit card when attempting to add the pets fee. Not happy about that, but they said they'd call our bank and take care of it.

The Hotel was just fine, however, the add was a little deceiving as it did state that it was near the Mall of America??? I thought (took it for granted) that it would be a lot closer. Got lost a few times but I guess it was my own fault for forgetting my Garmin.

has nice rooms, nice vending and was kept vey clean. The spa was nice and it even had a sauna!

I stayed overnight two nights to meet up with friends. The room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel is newer and has a design I have never seen before. The toilet and shower are in a tiny room just off the main room with a sliding door. The sink is kind of next to the bed. There is no privacy in this layout. Great location. Literally minutes from the Mall of America and the Zoo. Many great restaurants and activities in the area all withing minutes. It only took 10 minutes to downtown Minneapolis. Hotel was very clean, and the rooms were very clean. The pools was alright, a little small, but fun. I was very unhappy with the service,quality & cleanliness of the linen & bedding. Breakfast completely sucked & the desk personnel were very rude. I would not use this hotel ever again.

Was impressed with motel till last Day there.On Sunday our room was not not touched by housekeeping.When we informed front desk,they indicated they would send some one right up.When we came back later to room.It still not been done and no clean towels were in room for us.A call to front desk for towels was made,and delivered

Me and my husband book this hotel for 3 night & 4 days just to have vacation & to relax. 1st night front desk staff put us in handicap room. We coulden't sleep because our room was beside ice machine maker it was too noisy. Next morning we asked the front desk if we can switch to another room because we wern't compfortable. So they put us to another […] room. When we went inside the room we found ants on top of night table, some in top of tv dresser & on the aircondition. At first we thought it was bed bugs. Then we showed it to front desk he said it wasn't bed bugs it was ants. So we asked if theres another available room, he said not yet. So until we forced to stay for the 2nd night. At 6 am i woke up and found bunch of ants marching on top of tv dresser, below the wall thats marching behind the aricondition. It was so grows that had to wipe it with wet towel then showed it to the house cleaning lady. So we talked to the front desk told them that we're here for vacation so we can relax but we end up being stress. Me and my husband were so upset and discusted! We'll never going back there. We enjoyed the hotel and will stay again if need be in that area. Thanks for everything as they were very accomidating to us as we ordered pizza in and we could use the breakfast room and the breakfasts were great and a good variety. could be a bigger room as it is crowded with a few people.

Nice hotel for the price.

I didn't like the fact that this hotel didn't have automatic doors. My dog got her foot stuck in the door while I was trying to get the door open and bring my suitcase through the door. The doors are heavy and trying to bring either a suitcase or the bell boy cart is nearly impossible without help. The pet rooms were situated on the 4th floor along […] with the smokers, which I am not and the whole floor smelled like smoke. This motel is a great choice for visitors to the Mall of America and/or the Minnesota Zoo - very close and convenient to both. The building seems rather new, the rooms are clean and comfortable and well insulated from traffic noises, there's free WiFi, an OK free breakfast, and the rates are relatively low. They accept pets for only $5/night, the lowest […] we've ever seen. Two minor issues: 1) When we booked the room, the hotels website noted the pet policy but didn't specifically ask whether we'd bring one. So when we arrived at midnight with our dog, the desk clerk had to put us in a non-pet room and then move us the next morning. (We stayed 3 nights.) Luckily for us they were flexible about that. Call ahead or do something in advance to inform them about a pet. 2) The channel guide for the TV (in the binder on the desk) is wildly inaccurate so we just surfed to find out about our options. We're accustomed to an up-to-date, convenient guide, in plain sight. These two complaints are minor. Overall, we liked the place. Mehr

We stayed here for a weekend when we planned for a twins game and Mall of America trip. It was excellent! Very well located for everything. Staff was so friendly, room was clean and very nice and comfortable. Only bad thing were young kids in the pool after 10 when it was to be adults only - but that's not the hotels fault - it was the parents fault. […] We arrived early and they allowed us to check in about 45 mins early even! Not right on the freeway so it wa a great quiet night of sleep. I will be staying here next time I'm travel to the area! Mehr

The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the very small breakfast area and very small pool. For a 4 storey hotel both should be expanded. Othewise everything was fine. I would stay there again but might also look for a hotel with bigger "common" areas.

The staff were great especially Paul who gave his best to accomodate us in a non-smoking room. The room was clean except that in did not have a tub but otherwise it was great for the price. The only thing I notice is that the chlorine smell from the pool is too much. Other than that everything was great. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Wanted a hotel that was in driving distance to Mall but nothing fancy as it was only a space to sleep and then shop to you drop the next day. This hotel served its purpose. Great pub just down the street. Rugs could def. use a shampoo.

As we were leaving and double checking for our belongings, we found a sock that must have been tucked in the bed or along side the bed that was not ours.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean and maid service came everyday to put new towels and soap in the room. The complementary breakfast was also nice. The shuttle, though, was a bit unreliable. We had to wait at the mall for an hour after our scheduled pick up time because the driver said he forgot about us. We chose to stay at the Days Inn in Eagan, MN for our family weekend getaway. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, but a bit tight on space. The continental breakfast was sufficient with many choices available including bagels, toast, muffins, doughnuts, cold and hot cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, milk, […] orange or apple juice, coffee or hot chocolate. The pool/spa & exercise facilities were clean and were a nice way to escape the heat and cool off after a fun day of shopping and sight-seeing. We brought our grandchildren on a trip to the cities and chose the Days Inn. The offer on hotels.com was for a smoking room . That was my mistake. We had the fellow cleaning other rooms spray our room and that helped but the hallway smelled of smoke . That was the only unfortunate thing. The pool was great as was the hot tub. The breakfast was fine […] and we all slept well. We would come back again - just to a non-smoking room ! Mehr

the hotel clean up and replenishment service is poor. they also charged me over $80 on my credit card by mistake. they still have not refunded it

Look nice but a few things could have been better. The windows opened but the room faced the freeway. TV channel selection was bad. It said we had TBS but there was no picture and another channel had picture but no sound. Our room keys didn't work three times and we had to switch them out. We brought a laptop and couldn't get it to work there. The carpet […] and bathroom floor seemed sticky. Free breakfast was so packed that you could hardly get to anything. We used the pool and the hot tub but water seemed cloudy. The hot tub was very hot. We are smokers so they put us on the 4th floor. I understand that but they also put people with dogs there. Not the hotels fault but many time the people would leave and the dogs would bark. Out first ight someone was using a bass guitar. The only way to keep the room cool was to set it at 60 so it ran and ran. I could ahve opened the windows but the traffic was bad and noisy. We just happened to have a women's soft ball team and a woman's football league staying there. A very busy hotel. The room was cleaned up daily so that was good. The help was nice. It was easy to get anywhere. Plenty of restaurants near by. Not sure I would stay again. Mehr
