Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites Allentown Airport - Allentown

doesn't make it so. Sheraton should really monitor their hotels better. There was a hole in the celing in my room. It smelled dank and musty. The ice machine on my floor didn't work. This was closer to a red roof or knights in than a sheraton.

When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working. I notified the front desk immediately and was told that someone would be right up. However, I had to call again an hour later when no one had appeared. Someone came up then. He said the air would be working in 20 minutes to 1 hour. We told the serviceman that we would not be in the room until much […] later that night. We returned 6 hours after our original check-in to find that the air conditioning still did not work. To add pain to inconvenience, when I called the front desk, the man offered me no suitable solution. His solution was to give me a smaller bed and free breakfast. I just wanted what I paid for. I wanted another king bed room, which supposedly there were none remaining. I had to complain for over a half hour before a room magically appeared and we were moved and finally got to sleep at 11:30 at night when the problem should have been solved immediately when it was reported. We were staying at this hotel for our friend's graduation party, a bunch of us were staying there. We were a little surprised that there was no elevator, we had some heavy bags we were carrying, but no big deal. The shape of the room is odd, opens to a desk and chair, then the bathroom, then a small space for the bed. I would have liked the bed area […] and the living area to be together, so I didn't have to walk past the bathroom every time I needed something from my bag. When we got into the room it was warm, so we set the AC for 60. We left our room within 5 minutes to hang out in our friend's room for about an hour or so. We went back into our room to get ready, the temperature had gone down only 2 degrees, it was far from chilly. We weren't in our room to get ready for long, and didn't return for about 6 hours. When we returned, the temperature was still the same! It was an uncomfortable night, the bed was small, we were told it was a queen but we're pretty sure it was a full. It was uncomfortably warm. If it wasn't 3 am and we weren't exhausted, we might have called to get it fixed. When we checked out we told the man at the front desk about the AC, he didn't seem to care. All he said was, did you call? I wasn't expecting a comped room or anything, but some sympathy would have been nice. Aside from a convenient location, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

We found the hotel room to be nice and quieter than expected , being so close to the airport. The bed was hard and lumpy. Our biggest surprise came when we went to breakfast in the morning. We arrived in the dining room approx. 9 am. and found a table. We were totally ignored so I went to the lobby to get some coffee and brought it back to our table […] and waited. I knew the breakfast buffet ended at 10 am so I tried to get into line. There were about 100 high school students there from the local voc. tech and they were milling around in front of the buffet area. At 9:45, one of the teachers from the school saw my plight and pushed back the young men and let me get into line. She said that they were all on their seconds and thirds. I got some food and shortly after that we were presented with a bill for $18. I have never had such bad service! The experience was like a feeding frenzy at the zoo! I would have appreciated a warning when we checked in and we would have made other plans. I would not recommend this hotel for that reason. Mehr

I stayed at the hotel as a guest for a wedding. The wedding service was a disaster. Guests (girls soccer team) staying at the hotel worked their way on to the dance floor as uninvited guests. The food was poor (steaks were all super rare)...... and in the room.... no hot water...... and the walls were kind of thin, as heard dog barking for a good part […] of the nite. Mehr

We stayed here when visiting MUSIKFEST and were helped tremendously by Jack, the Motel's Driver. He was friendly, prompt and a real help to us shuttling us back and forth to the Fairgrounds....He's Great!

We were traveling with several other families. Our family booked 2 double rooms and asked they be close together. The closest they could get us was on opposite ends of the same floor, but they upgraded one of the rooms to a very nice suite, which made the stay especially nice because we were able to invite everyone back to our room.

I was awakened early in the morning by water spraying from the airconditioner onto my face.

This hotel was clean, modern, and nicely furnished. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful.

NICE FACILITY, ROOM WITH NOISY AC BUT VERY GOOD SCE

Hotel is a full service hotel with a restaurant and bar. They have a very knowledgeable shuttle driver that can take you to local attractions. The staff was very courteous and even allowed us to check out an hour late. It is also located directly across the street from the airport.

This place was a very nice and very clean hotel. They had everything you needed and customer service was wonderful. The pool was great. Everthing about the place we loved.

I would definatelty reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It was roomy and clean and an overall good value.

Non smoking hotel smelled of cigarette smoke in the halls. Rooms smelled like urine. Room was supposed to be cleaned by 3pm, never was done. Staff rude and belligerant.

Over all the place was nice and clean. A good price!! I wish they had more tv channels like HBO. I didn't like the fact that a refrigator was placed on the floor next to the bed. Odd place to have it. The spa and pool are very clean and nice to go in. I will be BACK!!!
