The price, room, food and location were all excellent. However, I intended on changing my travel plans, but the hotels inflexible cancellation policy locked me in. If you are business traveller, with a shifting schedule, BEWARE the one night full fee cancellation policy that operates even if you have a couple of weeks advance notice!

Hotel is right at BWI airport and very convenient. Excellent shuttle service to and from airport. Left our car at hotel while we were away. Less problems and cheaper than airport parking.

Handy location, courteous staff, uncomfortable king size bed with sheets and blankets that didn't come up far enough requiring slide down to get covered, HVAC gives appearance of individual room controllability but I like cool room and no matter how low I set the thermostat all I got was fan. Satisfactory for short stay but a mediocre venue.

Very hard to find. Signage is misleading. Signs on top of hotel are pretty much invisible from the road and the big sign looks like it leads into a parking garage. You have to go toward the right after you turn at the large sign on the road. Otherwise, pleasant enough for an overnight before a early morning flight. The service was outstanding. Shuttle from airport to hotel and then to train was excellent. All staff were so helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Room air conditioning did not work very well.

I always stay at this hotel when coming through BWI. I come through here several times while traveling on military orders. They offer good rates and extremely comfortable rooms. There is a pub and restaurant on site as well as decently priced room service. If you are just there overnight you don't even have to leave the grounds if you choose not to. […] Also, the airport shuttle runs 24/7 just about every 15-20 minutes. Everything you need! Mehr

Nice hotel but those making reservations online thru hotel.com should know that room won't count for Starwood points or towards free night offers (it was a surprise to me!!)

I had somehow thought that I could get to this hotel within BWI airport. No dice, had to get on shuttle and ride. That's okay, but the place is a dump. No one to help with bags, crowded front desk, obviously frazzled overworked stressed front desk help. I went to my room and it was cramped, old, ugly, and the wall heater was making a terribly loud awful […] noise. I went back to front desk and said this room is entirely unacceptable. She seemed offended and told me all rooms in the hotel are nice. I said go take a look at this one, baby, yuk. She gave me one that was similar but a little better. Nothing posh. Walls paper thin. Expected much better from the Sheraton name. In the morning, the restaurant's coffee urn was empty. When I told the front desk, they said, sorry! and kept working. Sigh. The price was right, but I see why. Next time will stay somewhere nicer. Mehr

I rarely write reviews and I am in no way blasting this hotel because I am a cranky client. I want to help the hotel and potential guests I got in around 2 am last Thursday and just needed a decent rest before I went home. The room had a heavy mold smell to it. The room looked like it came straight out of the 80's. In the morning, the shower head was […] about a full foot too low. I am 6'3"...not short but not a giant either. The Sheraton Hotel located directly at the BWI airport is a great location and the overall stay is great except I forgot about the planes and noise. Everyone at the hotel was fabulous in taking careof our needs but unfortunately the noise level was tough todeal with. We kept the TV on loud until after 11:00pm when the planes were done arriving and departing. […] No fault of the hotel and if it were not for the noise, I would stay there time and time again. Mehr

This hotel is a great choice for those staying close to the airport for incoming late flights or for early morning leaving. We arrived late at night and did not want to drive on to Wash DC at midnight. BTW if you are renting a car use the hotel shuttle to the hotel and back the next morning. This saves a night of rental car costs and is very convienent. Driving […] from the rental car location to the hotel was tricky so if you choose this option call the front desk- many highways to get lost on when the hotel is literally right next to the airport. GPS still got me on the wrong highway. Very clean, very comfortable room, very accomodating staff- they even knew of the late night delivery place as we were so hungry after flying all day. Allowed me to be able to sleep in a little while longer after a long night and early morning flight. Conveinent and friendly staff available.

Once I was picked up at the Amtrak station I was was granted an upgrade of the room -- It was wonderful

You think "Airport" hotel and you have an image of a dodgy hotel where you can't sleep because of the noise of the airliners flying overhead. The hotel could not be more different. One, I could not tell that it was an airport hotel because it was so quiet. Two, the room was so nicely appointment with a very comfortable bed and very functional and stylish […] furniture. I had to study for an exam that was being held a the hotel and the flexibility of the desk (on wheels) really impressed me. The hotel staff was wonderful and the hotel restaurant was fine. I didn't travel through BWI airport but would strongly considering staying there the next time I'm in Baltimore. Mehr

Needed a place to stay near the airport the night before an early flight. The location is perfect, was able to leave my car in the parking lot (for a flat rate) and the hotel shuttle took us to the airport. It was myself and my two children traveling together, I felt very safe, well lit and situated parking lot, friendly staff, clean room with plenty […] of space. Not the most comfortable bed but I would stay again for the convinience. Mehr

I've tried so many of the BWI Airport hotels and THIS is the one for me...GREAT staff from the front desk to the shuttle driver...room service, etc. After a tough treatment session at Johns Hopkins monthly I need a nice, safe, very clean and comfy hotel before my pre-flite home. Highly recommend this Hilton hotel!

I got in late on one of the coldest nights of the year (12*) and the room heat was off. I thought the dinky wall heating unit would warm the room quickly, but it didn't until ~ 3am... I have been more comfortable camping. And, what's with the low hallway ceilings? My hair was brushing the sprinklers. It was a bad experience.

The Four Points by Sheraton BWI is on the main airport road, as opposed to other BWI airport hotels less conveniently situated. Friendly staff, free parking, nice restaurant and bar, very comfortable beds.

We enjoyed the one evening at the 4 points sheraton for New Years Eve 2011-2012. We had a nice size room and there was nothing to really complain about other than the corridor ceiling being a little low for a 6'5" in man. I felt I was going to hit the ceiling at some point in the walk from the elevator or stairs to our room. They also have one elevator […] so if you are not close to the elevator, you may have to walk a long way to your room. The concierge were very polite, respectful and responsive. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Oh and because it's at the airport, yu will have about an 8 mile drive to the Baltimore Harbor. Mehr

I give this place a 4 out of 5. Perfect location for air travel. Room was very nice. Great LCD Tv. But no HBO in our room. Beds are very comfy with huge pillows. Being next to the airport u can easily hear the planes take off. Annoying but expected. Will stay again!

Tiny tiny tiny room. I can put one hand on the foot of the bed and touch the other wall. Service mainly ignores you. Hotel is old and outdated. Food was ok. No frills at all. Not even a morning paper. To top it all off, you get to wake up and fall asleep to the airplanes taking off since this hotel sits literally right next to the tarmac.

I stayed at this hotel because I was meeting people coming into the Baltimore airport and we were traveling together from there. The hotel is an ancient rabbit warren. Incredibly long hallways with very low ceilings and no direct pathways. Despite the old facilities, rooms are designed to 4 points style, so nicer than the overall facilities. Service […] was the biggest disconnect. I was so excited to be able to sleep til 8 the day before i was running a marathon, but that hope was dashed when I was awakened at 6:30 am by room service banging on my door. After 3 responses, I finally convinced them I had not ordered anything. Ok, people make mistakes, but no apologies, no attempt to rectify literally banging on the wrong door. Not being able to go back to sleep, I get dressed and went to the restaurant for breakfast. I'm told there is a buffet in broken English. (no problem with that - I'm from the south. :)). After 5 minutes, no menu, so I conclude the buffet is the only option. I get a small serving of eggs and fruit while my waffle is cooking. I put the eggs on my table and go back to get the waffle. By the time I get back to my table, my eggs are gone. I eat my waffle, and see another customer hand back a menu. So, In the end, I was charged for a buffet, when I ate a single waffle. Niether of the customer service issues is a really huge deal--but bad facilities, coupled with 2 customer service issues, all in less than a 14 hour stay, means I would avoid this hotel unless I had no choice. Great service, comfortable beds, extremely close to BWI. We will use this hotel every time we travel out of BWI!

It's a wonderful hotel with really good and new facility, and the shuttle was totally free and in time.

The hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable. The reason I gave it a 3 is that, when we arrived, it was so noisy in the lobby that we couldn't hear the people at the front desk. They had some convention attendees at a bar set up in the lobby. That was NOT a good idea. We stayed away from the lobby and the restaurant so we could avoid the crowded, […] noisy conditions. Mehr

incredible proximity to the airport but surprisingly quiet surroundings, very friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable.outstanding bargain for the rate charged.

Proximity to airport and downtown Baltimore was very convenient.

We loved we could bring our two little dogs. We very surprised how quiet our room was being right next to the BWI Airport. Beds were super comfy. The only complaint I have is that the carpet appeared to need freshening up

It was a very nice hotel and convenient to the airport. The staff were wonderful and friendly. After our trip, we called to be picked up. The driver was there in a couple of minutes!

All was good except the carpet in our room needed cleaning.

We stayed here before a trip abroad, the hotel staff were extremely helpful. The location was perfect and the price reasonable. W had a wonderful dinner, and the prices very reasonable, especially as we didn´t have to leave the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotels in Washington DC are very expensive$$$, we were very close to the train station and commuted into DC. The hotel had a shuttle available all the time and we used it many times, to the train station and airport too. The drivers were very nice and helpful and if you needed to go into Baltimore they suggested taxi.

This hotel is so comfortable and convenient--located right in the airport complex. The on-call shuttle service is courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean. Restaurant very pleasant and reasonable. There was a problem with one important channel on the TV and the staff were very helpful about getting it fixed.
