Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs - Colorado Springs

The toilet in my room made running water noise every 30 minutes which was a huge pain. The screen door for the balcony was broken off the tracks. The AC unit made some really weird noises. Other than a bar of soap I didn't have toiletries, luckily I had a small thing of shampoo from another hotel.

My only complaint was the air conditioning unit that was horribly noisy. Had to turn if off and it got pretty warm in the middle of the night. Told the front desk upon check out and they called engineering to look at immediately, so it seemed like they took it seriously. Hotel staff were all nice and friendly.

The room was what really stood out. Lots of space, nice firm mattress, luxurious sheets and pillows with a little bag of ear plugs, lavender sleep spray, and sleeping mask. all set out to guarantee a good night's rest. The maid service each day was outstanding too.

The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. Our room had access to the parking lot so we walked in and out easily. The staff was very helpful and the location is perfect for every occation.

My husband, my kids, and myself, stayed for two days and we had so much fun. The indoor pool was very unique. The kids enjoyed the pool and my husband and I enjoyed the onsite bar.

hotel was convienant, clean, did not have to leave hotel for dinner or any other inconvienances. the whole package in one.

The hotel is very nice. Ammenities were nice. We were fortunate to be close to the front. The property is really spread out and wouldn't want a room toward the back if had little kids. Only issue was that the room seemed dark and didn't want to leave curtains open because we were one the ground floor.

Everything was fine except for the loud noise coming from the indoor pool that I could hear while in my room. I guess that is why they give you complimentary earplugs.

4 in the morning the double glass doors in the hall leading to the courtyard outside my room start to bang loudly. My guess is the pressure insde the hallway changed every time somone opened a door causing the doors to clang and band-loudly. Impossible to imagine managemnt is not aware of this and disappointing they chose to ignore it at the inconvience […] of thier guests. Mehr

I thought Crowne Plaza's were suppose to be nice? And it is completely ridiculous to charge guests for Wi-Fi. I will not stay here again.

After bouncing around a few different hotels during my regular stays in Colorado Springs, I have decided that the Crowne Plaza is my favorite. The various courtyards make you forget how close you actually are to the highway and the indoor pool is an oasis despite the weather outside.

just too large-- added on several times and the first room we had our sliding door opened to a hallway...I am not good with closed in rooms...a maze to get from your room to the lobby

I've stayed in several hotels in the Colorado Springs area and the Crowne Plaza is the best combination of comfort, affordability, and cleanliness. The indoor pool area is very welcoming and the food and service was impeccable. I will definitely be coming back!

I got a room with my wife and teenage daughter that had a "connector" door through which every sound from the adjoining room emanated. It was as if these other folks were in our room with us. Exasperating but the front desk found us a new room quickly and all was quiet after that.

The staff at this hotel were"over the top" helpful. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub with all the mature trees and plants around. I will be staying at Crowne Plaza everytime I fly out of Colorado Springs.

That's the best we can say ... it was cheap. We've stayed in Crowne Plazas all over but won't return to this one. It's set up more like a massive motel than a hotel. The only thing it's convenient to is the highway and gas stations. If you're okay with driving 3 miles to dinner, etc. - go for it. If you're planning on hiking for the day - go for it. If […] you plan on spending time in the room -- go elsewhere. Mehr

This was the host hotel for the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial. The staff was very patient and went out of thier way to make us feel welcome. The breakfeast inthe lobby was the same every day

the hotel far exceeded my expectations, the beds are super comfortable and the sliding glass door was a plus. The two pools were perfect since the weather was not.

the hotel knocked on are door to asked us what time we were going to be checking out at 7 am check out is at 11.the coffee,sugar,and creamers wasnt filled the soap and the hair products were not replaced and we didnt get clean towels i would not go back

We were in and out at this place due to our itinerary, but for the 12 or so hours we stayed, it was great. Large, quiet, and clean rooms; strong a/c; a choice of pillows; strong water pressure. While it may not be up to the standard of other Crowne Plazas (e.g. the NYC one near the UN Building, which is superb), it is definitely a higher class than […] a budget chain. Mehr

Love this hotel. The outside pool was great, service was awesome and we loved the free breakfast!! I felt like a queen in this hotel!!

a good value for the money

It was a very nice place to stay. The pools were clean, although the hot tub was just warm.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location is prime for visiting Cheyenne Mtn Zoo and other attractions on the south end of town. The cons were the pool needs maintainance - missing tiles and mold around caulked edge. Room service did not answer their phone nor return messages to order food.

We stayed 4 days and the breakfast for all 4 days are exactly the same. Just wish they could improve breakfast a bit.

The service at the hotel was very good. Try not to choose a room near the pool as the water and humidity make it smell like mildew.

This was by far the finest hotel we ever stayed in. It was beautiful, clean, friendly staff, good restaurant, large comfortable rooms and conveniently located near every site we wanted to visit. The pool is so beautiful, you'll feel like you're in Hawaii. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

This hotel does NOT have an outdoor swimming pool. The pictures seem like it but it's a fountian.

Very impressed with the check in staff during an exceedingly busy time over a holiday weekend--the line moved at a quick pace and the staff was very helpful. Only draw back is I found the bed to be somewhat uncomfortable.

The staff and service were great! It's an older hotel but in good shape considering. The price is a bit high for the value, but it is clean, quiet and convenient to I-25. You could do worse. I'll stay again.

This was the noisiest place I have ever stayed in. The air conditioner/heater was so loud that I couldn't turn up the TV loud enough to hear it over the booms and sputters of the cooling system. Everytime it turned off it sounded like a car back firing. Inspite of the fact that I asked for a quiet location within the hotel, I was given a room that not […] only had hallway noise from the front door but also from a sliding glass door that looked out on another hallway. All night I heard people coming and going from both sides. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again if it was the last place on earth! Mehr

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and in good working order. This hotel is right off the Interstate and has a lot of restaurants and a movie theatre very close by. I would recommend this hotel to anyone lloking for nice accomodations at a reasonable price.

This was a great value for the money. Helpful staff. Large, comfortable room. I liked that there was a bar & restaurant on premises. The food was good and also a good value for the money. I'll stay here again.

Hotel was very quiet, the pool was warm and didn't have the usual smell of too much chlorine that most pools have. The social get-together in the evening was very nice - free wine, beer or soda, cheese and crackers and fruit. Free cookies at the front desk. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

The room was great, very clean and modern. The staff was so wonderful. I highly recommended this hotel.

Great central location in Colorado Springs. Free airport transportation shuttle worked really well.
