The pool/hottub saved us from a very stressful trip however, the hottub needed a good cleaning instead of another dose of the already saturated chemical they were using. Our room neighbour had a meet and greet until after 11p.m. and the coming and going hallway noise and slamming heavy doors really became irritating. The overall experience was positive […] because we made it positive but if you are a fussy person then you may have issues. The reno'd portions were lovely and the front desk was great. A very nice hotel. Good sized rooms, very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good location within walking distance of Guildford Mall. My only problem with the hotel is that they charged for parking and they also charged for wi fi access.

The reason for the stay was to attend my daughter's graduation ceremony and help her move. The hotel desk attendants were attentive, pleasant and helpful. The meals were delicious even though the wait time from ordering to delivery was about 40 minutes. The cleaning staff were very attentive to the "do not disturb" notice and one afternoon cleaned my […] room after 3:00 pm. I travel a great deal and expect good service. Housekeeping staff was exceptional. They left a note each day thanking me for allowing them to service my room. That NEVER happens! Stayed in this hotel numerous times during hockey tournaments for the kids. No choice where we stay- have to stay in this hotel due to tournament rules. The hotel is the nicest in the Surrey area. My issue is not with the quality of the hotel... but the managers the last three stays have been horrible. We had a problem with one of the banquet halls […] we rented to store gear. The manager responsible for the banquet room yelled at my kids. There was a discrepancy in stories... but don't understand why an adult would act like a bunch of 10 year old kids. Also arranged for a team breakfast and paid top $$ for the service. Food stunk- paid more than the normal weekend breakfast buffet but got way less. The last three stays have been rough. We (our team) won't stay here again. Really too bad that the management team is the group pulling this one down. Mehr

Really enjoyed it, king sized bed was fabulous, people were great, even complimentary bottles of water in the room! The only thing was that there was a loud sound every morning, most likely that loud squeel from someone's shower starting up.

Been a repeat customer at the Sheraton Vancouver Guilford Hotel over the last 6 years, the rooms are kept in good condition the staff is friendly, the downside is that during the weekends there can be rowdy crowds that stay at the hotel that can be noisy up until late hours of the night and violate non-smoking policies. All morning long the sound of clanging pipes when the demand for hot water in the showers starts at around 8am every morning and went to 11a. We made a compliant on the two mornings we stayed and nothing was done about it. The room was a good room... just the noise all morning long was enough to drive you insane. Especially when you are on vacation […] when you should be able to sleep in during these times. There was also a lack of service in the bar and dining area. I had requested a room with two queen beds but they said not available (in spite of confirmation thru Expedia) and was given a king bed with pull out. Not really a problem but the request to have pull out made up did not happen.

I got carried away by the Sheraton brand. The room looks like a motel. The bathrooms are really old. I did not get a feel of a luxury hotel. May be they should name it as Sheraton motel. You need to pay seperatly for fridge, microwave, WiFi, parking.. The only thing that is free is tv, coffee machine and steam iron.

From checkin to checkout the staff and condition of the hotel was first rate. There was a large sports group of young boys with their families but everything was quietened down by 11 pm. Security was good and you are right across the street from large shopping mall. Food in restaurant very good. All in all a good experience.

Love coming into Surrey and getting into this hotel. Very close to border and prices of the rooms are reasonable. Ordered room service at midnight and was very satisfied. The views are quite great as well. Perfect hotel for the quick getaway without killing your budget. I enjoy the underground secure parking.

The breakfast in the lobby resteraunt was overpriced. The food was no better than the food u see offered in free breakfasts at most hotels. Would never eat there again. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

I left an inadequite hotel Christmas night (it was really poorly ran dump) and went to the Sheridan. The staff knew I was in desprite need of a room but still treated me very politely and were very understanding when I told them of the other hotel.
