Typical of a "motel". Was okay for a one-night stay.

The room was comfortable, the double bed are to small for two adults to sleep in comfortably. Otherwise, no complants.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was and the beautiful view of the Sedona mountains/redrocks out our window. Modern and clean room. Would definitely stay here again. Also, the front desk service was professional and prompt at check-in and when I had a problem with the TV.

Room was fabulous and right across the street from where we were celebrating New Years Eve. Very convenient and very clean. Great breakfast, FRIENDLY SERVICE. Thank you.

Looking good outside in night. but old hotel. even clear the room.... Not bad hotel, but not good hotel. breakfast was good. Parking was good.

hotel is not bad, it was clean however it smells like old buildings and smoking big time. upon check in the receptionist was decent, however when i checked out the receptionist was completely rude,she argued with me and didnt even say thank you as i walked out. i didnt see that there was a pet charge on the internet, i just focused on the fact that […] it was a pet friendly place until i got ready to check out i explained to her that i didnt see anywhere on line where it said pet charge ,,,she continued to argue with me and charged me anyway a $25 for a small 5lb poodle. i think that is ridiculous i will never stay here ever again, and will make sure none of my close frined and/or family do either. make it more visible on the website and/or obvious when we get in a hurry at last minute people dont have time to read for an hour to find all this info. My Mother, my 6 year old and I went to Sedona for a Christmas concert. When we got to the hotel we were glad to see how very nice the hotel was. Check-in and Check-out were quick. Complimentary breakfast was also nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The cafe on the property, The Golden Goose, is very good! And you get 15% off when you show your room […] card. Mehr

Hotels.com told us there was no fee for our dog. When we got there we were charged $25 plus tax. Was very unhappy about that. I called hotels.com and told them they gave us the wrong information and they fixed it by paying the $25 plus tax.

Hotel location and availability on a holiday weekend is why we stayed here. Price was cheap but the hotel itself is kinda cheap... Very worn and outdated. Bathroom door was a pain to open on e inside and you needed to good several body slam pushes in order to get out. Bed was very firm. But you have to try the golden goose cafe outside the hotel...food […] was amazing! Mehr

The hotel was adequate for what we wanted. It was fairly comfortable and since we were only using it for sleeping it met our needs since we were there to see the beautiful scenery in the area. If you want luxury, this is not the place.

Great place to stay at reasonable at price. Close to local area attractions, only problem was with the new local cable company. This was not a hotel only issue it involved the whole area. We have family in sedona with the same problem.

Good location, nice rooms, wonderful front-desk staff. Would stay again.

The hotel was in a convienient location and has a really good restaurant in the parking lot.

The Hotel in Sodena was very nice had a pool and was in good condition would recommend to everyone.

Totally enjoyed the convenience of this hotel. The front desk staff (I belief her name was Mimi?) were great. We would have expected this level of professionalism at Four Seasons.

bang for buck simply very good. Easy going pleasant staff and helpful receptionists.Room comfy all in all good value. also rest/bar in front serves excellent food and great specials. And,best chile relleno EVER just few blokcks up street-how good can a chile relleno be,you say? ? well??

The best thing about this hotel was the Golden Goose right on their property. The food was great and the staff is very friendly.

Wasn't expecting much for this expensive town but found this facility to be quite good.

The room was incredibly clean and had been recently updated. There were tasteful black and white photos of Sedona on the walls, new bedding, new furniture, and the bathroom had been completely updated, including a granite countertop. I loved that there was wifi in the room and a fridge. The fridge was a life-saver: we were able to stock up on water […] and powerade and keep it cold throughout the stay, so we were never in the position of having to pay $3 for a powerade that we got for $0.79 at a large store in Sedona. Score! We never heard any of the other guests who were staying at Super 8, as some reviewers complained. Let's be fair though: it's not the hotel's fault if they have inconsiderate guests, so it annoyed me that people were rating this Super 8 harshly because of bad guests. As a bonus, we had a beautiful view of some of Sedona's famous red rocks from the bedroom The entire staff was friendly and helpful and were a pleasure to speak with. The coffee in the lobby is really good and always fresh. The restaurant on the property had really good food at reasonable prices. Mehr

I chose this hotel after having had prior bad experiences at Super 8 hotels. I was in Sedona 1 night to conduct business & the hotel was 2 blocks from where I needed to be the next morning. It was priced right for Sedona and other reviews on this particular hotel made me feel better about booking here. The room was clean, good sized, the furniture/bed […] updated and the bed was very comfortable. However, the hotel is old & starting to look for run down; the hallway smells old & musty (covered by strong perfumy freshener); the air conditioner worked but was extremely loud (woke me every time it came on); the bathroom was horrible. Was almost impossible to get in/out of the bathtub without slipping because of the sloped walls of the tub; the toilet had trouble flushing completely; the plumbing was old and when the room above me used shower or plumbing it sounded like water was gushing into my bathroom and there was a leak from the wall onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom ceiling was the old acoustic panels and looked like it would fall in from the leaking coming from above. It did have a breakfast buffet with the bare minumum cereal, hb eggs, toast/toaster waffles, juice coffee but the room was too small for the numbers of people going in/out. I finally just left & ate breakfast elsewhere. I would not stay here again unless they did a complete upgrade of the place. Mehr

I usually intend to stay away from Super 8 due to some bad experience years ago. After reading online reviews, I chose to stay one night at Super 8 in Sedona AZ last week. This hotel really changed my view of Super 8. It is clean, comfortable and convenient with a good value. I will definitely stay there again.

I was impressed with this hotel. Super clean, affordable, and provided a excellent continental breakfast. Building facilities, pools, parking were all in very good condition. Personnel were very cordial and attentive to their guest. A little far away from downtown but not a deal breaker. It also has a 15% discount on their restaurant located next door. […] Went with my family and will definitely go back. Mehr

We stayed one night at the Super 8 after searching in vain for another hotel in Sedona at a good price. This place was good. No frills, but it has comfortable beds and our room was clean. It is on the west side of town a few miles away from the shops, but some of the good restaurants are close by. All in all, a good deal for Sedona.

This is the second time I've come to Sedona for work. Last time I stayed at the Poco Diablo Resort and loved it, but since my employer pays for the room, at $200/night because of increase in tourist season, I stayed at the Super 8. For a motel, it was surprisingly nice. The bathrooms need updated bad, but other than that, the bedroom portion was great. […] The breakfast was just okay--definitely overcrowded with foreign tourists. Mehr

Would have liked to have a small fridge.

I requested a hotel with adjoining rooms and when I arrived to the hotel, it did not have ANY adjoining rooms at all. Some one on the hotels.com end incorrectly booked my room stay! I had 3 little kids and it made the evening difficult to manage the children.

Very nice hotel well kept and clean.One exception,carpet needs changing. Service and administration was very helpful. Hotel was as advertised.Would use again.

This hotel has a great location and was easily accessible to everything Sedona has to offer. Request the scenic view of the Red Rocks during your stay. Great views from the 3rd floor.

We have dogs and there is plenty of safe walking areas around the property. Our dogs are very comfortable sleeping in the back of the truck and we could see them from our room. The super 8 also included a fifteen percent discount at the Golden Goose Res. on the property. Very nice and very good food. The hotel also provided a Very good breakfast.

In this price range, this hotel is very clean and comfortable. close to center of the city. I would come back if I get a chance to come back to Sedona.
