Super 8 Motel - Logan - Logan

Being what it is, this particular Super 8 was actually fine. A good place to lay our heads at night, it was clean. I only gave a 4 though because the breakfast part of it was pretty lame, but seriously other than that (which wasn't that big of a deal - there are plenty of places to eat close by) I was pleased.

Our stay at the Super 8 was fine. The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs. We were in town for one night for an event and didn't spend much time at the hotel. It was a better price than some of the other hotels in the area and we have stayed here before, so we knew it was nice enough.

Check in and out was super easy - the room was nothing special but clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night for a reunion in Logan, and would recommend this place to others for a similar stay. Thanks for everything!

Overall the room was good. I was disappointed in one thing. Our TV didn't work. We called the front desk and they were going to come and check it and never did. The next morning when I was checking out, I told the man on duty about it and all he said was that he was sorry. I would have rather had a few dollars off the room, but all he said was he was […] sorry. Mehr

If you're not picky and just want a place to crash, this is a good, economical choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Our room could have used a good wipe down of the walls and edging of the carpets. It did not feel clean. The toilet sink had somehow turned pink, but overall the bathroom was clean […] and well-enough maintained. The beds and pillows should have been replaced a few years ago. I had to go to the chiropractor the next day to undo the damage. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, juice, toast, bananas--not bad for an economy hotel. We had the three queen-bed suite--great for our family of 2 adults 3 kids. One queen is somewhat separated from the others for a little more privacy. Mehr

the lobby looked very run down the front door and coming in was trashy looking and the pool a joke.just nasty looking but the room was fine and the maid was very nice best part was the workers

Typical older Super 8, we had to wait fully 30 minutes for the hotels.com res to come though onto their system. No elevator, walking up to the 3rd floor with baggage was not fun after a long day's drive. Looked like a nice big pool but didn't have time to use it.

Ok hotel. If you need a place to sleep and not all the extras, this is the place to stay. Heater was pretty loud which made it hard to sleep.

Went to Logan for a workshop at Utah State University. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. The Super 8 was just fine. Yeah, it smelled just a little bit, but it wasn't as bad as other people have stated earlier. The room was just fine. It was clean and the bed was actually comfortable. I usually remember to bring my own blankets and pillows […] so the bed wasn't an issue. The fan/heater served as kind of a "white noise" machine so I could drown out any noise that came in from other places. The continental breakfast was typical for a Super 8, or any other budget hotel/motel. Overall, my stay was just fine. It was great to be in Logan, again. Mehr

There is not much to be said for the fanciness of this hotel,but it is well maintained and the rooms,while basic,are clean and comfortable. It is in an easy to find location and close to restaurants and major highways.

This wasn't the 'worst' hotel we've stayed at, but it was 'basic' at the lower end of the spectrum. The rooms were old, beds were old and the bed springs could be felt easily. When choosing this place, we went for 'cheap' and got what we paid for.

We just needed somewhere to sleep while visiting some friends. The Super 8 provided just that. Not a lot of bells and whistles but a clean, quiet room. The back stairwell and parts of hallway had a very strong smoke odor but not noticeable inside the room. We did not partake of the breakfast.

We had read a terrible review of this place after we booked it, so we were nervous. It turned out to be just fine, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

This Super 8 is terrible. We were supposed to have a non-smoking room with a king bed and sofa bed. What we ended up with was two double beds and a hotel that smelled so strongly of smoke everywhere- I don't think they have a room they can really call non-smoking. There is no elevator and we were on the third floor. With a new baby, toddler and dog […] in tow, we had to make many trips to the car to get everything upstairs that was needed for the stay. very tiring and frustrating. The only good thing about this place was the shower head. i will never stay here again. Mehr

I know it's a Super 8 but I would have expected more. Not very clean room. Dated. Way over price for this type of hotel. I should have taken the priceline deal which was Holiday Inn Express for less money.

We stayed there Aug 26th and it was 98 degrees in Logan so we were looking forward to a nice and cool room. We were on the 2nd floor and it was very hot. The air conditioning was very poor, it never cooled down our room even though it ran all night, which was disappointing.But we thought it was in a good location and the beds were pretty comfortable […] and very clean. Its right next door to a Wendy's which we were able to walk to. The breakfast was basic, not much variety beside cereal and waffles. Overall, we've stayed in much nicer for the same price. Hotel and room was not in good condition. Smelly and dirty. The air conditioner was not very effective and loud. The hotel staff was not friendly at all. No greeting upon entering or leaving the hotel. Two cars in parking lot were broke down. Looks as if they were there for a while.

Stayed here for one of the local races. Convenient location... all amenities were good for the price.

Not bad considering it is cheaper than other hotels in Logan. Some rooms and hallways smell like smoke. Coffee is watered down.

The carpets smell like 30 year old cigarette smoke, the sheets are cleaned with industrial strength detergent that you can feel seeping into your skin, the continental breakfast was deplorable (warm milk on cereal + watered down tang = gross nastiness and becoming a regular at fastfood breakfast places). It's not surprising the owner of the place drives […] a Lexus based on what he's saving on decent hotel maitenance. However, their frontdesk and cleaning staff are very helpful and accomidating. And, the shower is actually quite refreshing. Mehr

Was satisfied with quality other than no elevator for our second floor access. Breakfast room too small for comfort witrh size of crowd. Priced about right for one night stay. Would stay there again.

Was great for the price! Kids had a blast in the pool. We didn't get up in time for breakfast, but everything else was great for the price we paid.

Location great. Swimming pool - small, but clean and heated - the kids loved it. Breakfast was minimal, but enough. The rooms just felt old and run down. Not very clean, and definitely not updated at all. But for one night it was do-able.

Right off the main street on the south part of town is this nice little motel. We've stayed there many times over the past few years, and we've always had a pleasant stay. We never really hang out, we're in town to visit family, but it's a great place to sleep, shower and rest between outings.

Room was ok for a cheap hotel, although it was not that cheap, because of event in logan. Beds were very poor quality, but since was up there for MS-150 bike ride it did not matter. Reserved a non-smoking room, but there was a slight smell of smoke. Over heard front desk mention that all the rooms had just been deep cleaned to remove the smoke smell, […] So either someone hand been smoking when they were not suppose to or we got a smoking room that had just been cleaned. We were hardly in the room so it did not matter. Room was mostly clean, although the linen look like it should be replaced (I never trust anything but the sheet in hotels to begin with, but these look particularly bad). I would look to stay somewhere else if possible, but would not have a problem staying here again if I had to. Mehr

It is a good little hotel. It stinks a little like smoke throughout the whole place. They wouldn't let any kid under the age of 5 in the swimming pool. Overall a place to stay for a night. You pay for what you get.

Considering this is the cheapest hotel in Logan, it's not bad at all. I've stayed here several times. The hallways tend to smell of smoke and are often too warm, so the walk to your room is the only negative experience we've had. The rooms are always clean, plenty of towels, decent selection of TV channels. My ONLY complaint about the room would be […] the pillows were a bit large and stiff. Mehr

This Super 8 is the worst one I ever stayed at. The front desk person told me one thing and the hotel did another. The breakfast was sub standard and the containers for food not properly cleaned.

A great price.

Bouncy Bed's, Cathode Ray Tube tv's, noisy Air conditioner, the smell of smoke in nonsmoking room. Not recommended based on that. Half the price of everything else. Only Recommended by price. Recommend if only for a short night. More than one night then I don't recommend.

I made a reservation with this hotel with the assistance of one of your reps. I needed a nonsmoking room and thats why I called a spoke with a person and did not trust booking on line. I was told that my room was confirmed and that it would be a nonsmoking room. Two weeks later I received another e-mail that showed my reservation but did not show that […] the room was nonsmoking. I called the hotel and the told me it was a smoking room and there was nothing they would do to change it even though I had a previous confirmation. I called your c/s number and did get my reservation changed to another hotel in another town 25 miles away. I was very pleased in the way your rep helped me but was upset that I had to drive as far as I did to get what I thought I had originally booked. The way super 8 spoke to me was very unprofessional and I will NEVER use them in the future and I will tell everyone I know not to use them either. Mehr

The breakfast room was so crowded that we just walked out and went to a restaurant. Tried to get a 1-hour late checkout, and they told us no.

This is a very old run down hotel, the heater in our room was so loud and did not work, There was a bus load of high school students that were up till 5:00 am running around, screaming, laughing and playing though out the hotel, I spoke with the manager and he didnt seem concerned about the heater, and all he would say about the noise was sorry," schools […] out" Mehr

The room we had was supposed to be non smoking, but smelled of smoke just the same, possibly near by rooms are smoking...

Yes, the beds were hard, the TV was tube from the 1980s, the breakfast was a health inspector's nightmare, and the "free wifi" was terrible when I *could* get a connection... but I mean come on, the price was a full $25 less than its closest rival. It's pretty hard to complain at these prices. All in all, it was well worth what little we did pay for […] the stay there. So, it comes down to expectations - don't expect much, and you will not be disappointed. Mehr

Good value, but hotel has 3 floors and no elevator, ok for me, but not if you have heavy luggage. Room was clean, but very simple. Older property. Quiet. Snowed about 3 inches and lot and sidewalks not cleared.

The Super 8 was fine. The rate I had was so cheap that I was worried but I needn't have been. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The location is a bit remote on the south end of town, but Logan is so small that it didn't matter. Breakfast was included, nothing fancy but good to get you going.

clean and comfortable, every was in good working order. The AC/heater was a little noisy, but it kept the room comfortable on a cold cache valley night.

carpot was dirty ,not enough towels, breakfast was bad no fruit only had cold cereal and english muffin and toast butter and waffles that was it and one waffle maker that takes 3 minutes for hundreds of guest to use in 2 hours no jam. guests would walk in and walk out with out anything because they didn't wan't to wait in line for a waffle.
