Passables Durchgangshotel in der Nähe vom Highway und Portland mit günstigem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal, Zimmerausstattung etwas veraltet aber sehr sauber. Lage Industriegebiet, dennoch recht zentral (mit dem Auto max. 10 min. ins Herz von Portland), gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort.

Zimmer roch etwas nach Reinigungsmittel das Hotelzimmer war aber ausreichend groß mit Wand- und Kühlschrank Frühstück war etwas mager nur 5 kleine Tische aber sauber. der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war nicht sonderlich freundlich Außenpool mit Sonnenschirmen und Liegen, sah gut aus , wegen Regen aber nicht genutzt

Got a great rate but when needing to add a extra night it was a nightmare.Realy wish it was easy and the same rate to add nights

The hotel was perfect for what I wanted. We went to visit a friend. The hotel was perfectly located, had a pool and included breakfast. It wasn't a super cozy/fancy hotel but I wasn't looking for that. I was looking for an inexpensive way to visit a friend and provide entertainment for the kids. Perfect!

All of the comforts we needed. It was only for 1 night, but it was enjoyable and handy to most everything needed.

This stay was a quick in and out for me I checked in early evening and was out by 7am. It was a very easy check-in and out staff was very pleasant and efficient. This was my second time staying in this hotel for the same reason, this time was better by no fault of the hotel, but last time neighbors were very noisy and i believe the police even showed […] up for them (which was handled well by staff and they were pleasant and friendly letting me know everything was ok because I was wandering the halls) there were kids upstairs this time a little noisy but nothing too bad and headphones drowned them out anyways. Only thing I can think of was I didn't get my wake up call but I was already awake anyways, I may not have done it correctly who knows. If I need a hotel in the area I would use this hotel again. This hotel is excellent value. The rooms and facilities are modern and clean and the pool and hot tub were definitely a great feature to include. The breakfast was a good quality and the access to I-95 and downtown Portland are very good. We are looking forward to returning when we are in Portland again.

The room was relatively clean. Some slight water damage under the window (looked like mold but wasn't). The carpeting throughout the hotel was a little grungy. Everything else was fine. Clean bed and bathroom. Staff was SUPER nice. A pipe had broken so the pool was blocked off. We called the desk with the intent on asking for a refund to go elsewhere […] (we really wanted a pool) and she said that they would clear a path and she was just about to call to let us know. Yes, she remembered us asking and was going to look up our room number and call. Very inexpensive and well worth the money. Great for a Super 8. The pool was smallish but clean and the spa was nice. If you need a place to stay for cheap in Westbrook, check it out. Mehr

There was mold around the bathtub. The pool had cigarette filters and white rocks in the pool. The spa had a sandwich sign that said it was closed but it didn't have anything over it. I saw several people get into the spa. It was a definate green. I told the children that couldn;t read that it was closed.

The desk clerks were super friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, though the pillows weren't my favorite, everything worked as it was supposed to. Overall you can't ask for more considering the price paid!

The overall condition of this hotel is decent. It's definately not the Ritz Carlton but for a quick trip it's an ok place to stay. The rooms are on the small size for a family of 4. When we checked in, the clerks were a bit slow and they also had a lot of computer issues. No fault of their own. When we walked into our room, it was FREEZING!!!! Housekeeping […] left our window open in the middle of Maine in December!!!!! It had to have been maybe 35 degrees in our room. We also had requested a crib...not crib was in our room. We walked down to the lobby, which was confusing because we followed the signs and they lead to dead ends, we got to the front desk and first told them about the heat. The clerk didn't offer an apology but just said, well did you turn on the heat? Then when I inquired about the crib, we were told it's not a crib but a pack and play. I could have brought ours from home if I had known. Also our room was so small that we had to rearrange furniture to set it up. We had to move a heavy table/luggage holder thing. Not the most ideal situation. But I guess for the money I paid, you are not going to get everything. Beds weren't overly too comfy...a bit hard in fact. Mehr

I found the hotel convienently located to everything I needed, food and shopping. The staff was friendly, and very willing to help with my confort. The breakfast was a very wide variety, that should fit anyone's needs, from healty to sweet pastries. I had both! the bed could of been a little softer, for me. The room was clean with a fridge and microware, […] which made my stay more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Westbrook. I was pleased with the freindliness of the staff, front desk and those cleanning the rooms, all were very willing to make your stay the best. Thanks for making me feel important. This hotel is a dive. Dirty. TV didn't work on the first night. Asked staff to fix it, guy on duty couldn't care less. Next night TV was fixed after |I went to the manager, but grossed out by the cockroach crawling in my bathroom. YUCK!

We really enjoyed the staff at the Super 8. They were very friendly and accomodating. The front desk clerk M who checked us in helped us to feel like family coming in for a visit. Not a bad place, pretty convenient drive to downtown. clean enough. bathrooms were pretty nice for this type of hotel. no problems. I would stay there again.

Didn't cost much and didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Ate at Ruby Tuesdays opposite and this was good. Breakfast included and was surprisingly adequate. Used the swimming pool which was a bonus. Probably miles from anywhere, but didn't matter for us as we were driving.

My wife and I had reservations at the near-by Travelodge. After first being put in a smoking room that was marked non-smoking, we were given another room. After that night, we walked out and came to the Super 8. Everything about the motel was superior to the other place. That included the staff, overall appearance, cleanliness, and room comfort. I figured when I was staying at a super 8 that I wasn't getting a 4 star hotel. However I did expect there to be enough parking spots. I checked into the hotel a little after 3pm. After checking in, I went out for a night on the town. When I returned, there were no parking spots left, as someone with a trailor was taking up 3 spots. I would have expected […] that a worker would have noticed this and had that person park in the Trailer parking. I went in to the front desk and asked about additional parking and was rudely greeted and treated like I was an inconvience. I was asked if I had checked in already and then told that there was no additional parking. I was offered no solution or hospitality. I was rudely told to look in the parking lot for a spot, when I clearly told the man at the desk that there were none left, because of the trailer. I was then told to park in the trailer parking area. I made sure to ask about not getting towed or a ticket because I was made to park in that area. I did not get a ticket and was not towed. However the service was less than even a low rate hotel. Mehr

The room was nice and conveniently located to all the sites in Portland. There are alot of local restaurants located nearby the hotel. The only problem, which was minor, was that the wireless internet was out of service for some short periods. However, it always came back.

This hotel provided a comfortable stay and was sufficient for our needs. Our stay was for a few nights and one night was a little too noisy for our liking but over all was ok. Breakfast was just average and one morning was pretty picked over. We would stay here again if we are in area.

It is a good hotel with breakfast for your car tour.

close to I-95 close to shopping close to sight seeing, clean pool but small close to resturants and breakfast included.

The only thing that we did not like was the beds were uncomfortable. For that reason, I would not stay there again. Get new beds and I will return.

If you are in a wheel chair they have a few handicapped rooms, when we checked in they did not have a wheel chair accessable room as promised by Hotels.com. The front desk clerk and one of the staff, showed us a room and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed in this hotel for three days and nights. We found it very quiet, clean and comfortable. These were important elements to us since we had small children with us. We would easily recommend this hotel to any travelers in this area.

This hotel was nice with a friendly staff. The walls were very thin, which may affect a lighter sleeper. There was a basic continental breakfast.

Travelling to the Boston and surrounding area from Nova Scotia we booked this hotel online for our first stop. Upon our arrival the hotel staff was very friendly, and the room clean. Breakfast was impressive for Super 8 continental, and I was so pleased with the service for the price that while checking out I booked another room for a stop over on our […] way home 3 days later. There was a lot of road construction in the area so the hotel was somewhat difficult to find from Portland. The staff was very courteous. The room and furniture were older looking, but the breakfast more than made up for it. They had big muffins, a hot water dispenser for oatmeal, etc., packaged sweet rolls, hard boiled eggs, cranberry juice, cut up […] fruit, and yogurt in addition to the things you'd expect. The swimming pool was refreshing, but they never replenished the towels while we were there. Mehr
