The facility was a pretty run down and "rustic". The bad: There was drywall falling down from the front door wall as you opened and closed it. The mini sofa was pretty badly stained. The good: The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was pretty large and clean clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Not too many amenities to speak of. […] It's pretty much "bare bones". Overall though, for the price, location ( close to the freeways and places to eat) and customer service I would stay there again. You just have to get over the initial shock of how it looks. Mehr

Wifi was dead both nights from different in-hotel equipment failures. They should consider having redundancy or spares on site. Fridge had a major resonate vibration that would show-up periodically resulting in my unplugging it every night. Somehow housekeeping forgot to refresh my room one day. Good hotel for the money, decent breakfast, good location, friendly American/English-speaking staff. Room had a microwave and refrigerator which was really nice. Bathroom was nice size. The carpeting had a lot of dust all around the baseboard area and that makes me a bit uncomfortable, but overall, good stay.

Nice Hotel, Good neighborhood, several good resteraunts neerby, close to St. Louis.

Very quiet

My husband and I stayed at this Super 8 which is convenient to our daughter's house and we found the hotel comfortable and the one lady at the front desk who checked us in and out was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. We would stay there again. Clean, smaller room than we are use to but we are only there to sleep.

This hotel is a good value with lots of good restaurants and a gym next door. It was advertised as "pet friendly" but they charge an unadvertised fee for the pet. The staff was helpful and the room comfortable.

It was a great stay for the price you can't beat it

This hotel has a great staff and are very guest friendly. They have a great selection of breakfast items. The beds are for the most part comfortable. Great water pressure for a shower. Anyone visiting the St. Louis Missouri area should stay here it is a very short drive and a lot cheaper!

Staff was VERY helpful. Needed to make some changes to rooms and needed to check in earlier than designated check in and the staff followed through and made that happen. Was very convenient to great restaurants & shopping. Very affordable rate. Would definitely stay there again and/or recommend to friends

I had reserved a Non-smoking room, but the room had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. Otherwise, the room was clean. I asked for and received a room freshener spray which worked very well.

The hotel itself is very clean. The air conditioner in our room left the room smelling a little moist, but it was not annoying or unbearable. The rooms come equipped with a nice microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The bathroom comes well stocked with towels and toiletries. Very nice shower/tub. Hotel was decent. It was right next to a Houlihan's restaurant and many others, as well as a shopping mall. Cereal at breakfast was fine. Staff was very helpful. I rated it a 3 because the hotel it self was so so. It needed to be updated in the rooms so even if things were very clean,and hopefully they were, it still looked kind of icky (old). I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We came in late and left the next morning. The desk staff was pleasant and helpful at check in. However, I left my keys at the desk and finally came back looking for them, but they could have been more proactive in returning the keys - it wasn't like there were several groups checking in at 9 pm and they knew […] what room we were in. The room was small as compared to what I am used to. But they had a fridge, microwave, & ironing board...extra pillows and of course a coffee pot. Everything you might need. It was a nice "economy" hotel. We went to the Gateway Arch and from there this hotel was about 10 - 15 minutes driving. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance around this hotel. This hotel was older and in need of a remodel. The first room smelled of mildew and had damp carpet. The second room had some sort of chemical smell, but was somewhat better than the first one. For the cost I did not complain,however If given a choice I would not stay there again. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Very close to a wide selection of different restaurants.

The personal at check=in was quite friendly and very helpful in everything also at check-out no problems at all with anything

There were dirty wash rags in the tub other than that everything else was good

Overall this hotel met our needs very well. I would recommend it for people who like Cardinal Ballgames. There are plenty of restrurants and shopping very close. They have started a breakfast service that is complimentary that is good. Their cinnamon rolls are very good.

The only complaint I have was the comfort of the pillows. But you can't really complain when it was such a good price. Breakfast was delicious and it was in a convenient location.

Great hotel for the money. Close to shopping areas and restaurants. Would stay here again. Front desk employees very friendly and helpful.

we were blow away by the kindness of front desk member and the room conditions for the rate we had to pay, we kind of expected a nasty room with pest all over the place sleeping with us so we want to say thank you for the conditions of this location and the staff you hired to run unit, we will return as soon as we can afford to do so, thanks again

Booked a non smoking room- but room reeked of smoke. Toilet seat was unbolted on one side. (You'd think maid would have noticed that when cleaning). Toilet also was running when we first entered the room. We finally got the tank to fill and shut off. Washcloth was VERY threadbare; it should have been discarded long ago.

promt, ready, comfortable, easy access off the interstate, minutes from downtown st. louis without the headach of the big city, and affordable for todays economy. i highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the greater st. louis area.

You get what you pay for with this one. Not a great hotel. Needs updating. A little dirty. Hotel service was ok. We were expecting something a little better for the price.

Left some clothing in the room, asked if it could be sent to me, one person said yes, the next day the manager said he didn't find it. He could have cared less and refused to give me the customer service number. I'll never stay there again!

The location was great. We were a part of a larger group that was staying at the Drury, across the street. Your property was close enough that we could easily interact with the rest of our motorcoach group. Location to eating places of moderate price was great. We had great accomodations.

Hotel smelled like cigarettes. Had a non-smoking room that reaked of smoke and we smelled like smoke the next day while we were at the Cardinals game. Just a terrible terrible room.

toilet was not bolted to the floor. management knew because they ran a large bead of caulk around the base.

Very nice hotel for the price. The only problem we had was that the room felt very humid. We turned off our air since it was cool outside, but the room was still humid.

This hotel was actually better than I expected. The staff could have been nicer and better.... trained. The maid was very rude to us, yelling at us through our door at 8 AM.. The breakfast was ok. We have stayed at numerous Super 8 Hotels As they go this one is above the average of most but not "outstanding". It is convenient to many popular restaurants & stores and only a few minutes from St. Louis, Belleville, etc. I would have no problem recommending it over some other options.
