Wunderschöne Anlage etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum von Palm Springs. Schöne Wohnungen mit Küche , Waschmaschine , Trockner , Grill auf dem Balkon . Eigene Garage mit 2 Fahrrädern inklusiv. Aufenthalt war einfach zu kurz.

Sehr grosszügige saubere Zimmer, mit schöner Anlage und nahe Joshua Tree Park. Alles was man braucht ist innerhalb von 10 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr ruhig, man kann dort gut ausspannen. Wifi und kostenloser Parkplatz inclusive. Insgesamt im Vergleich zu anderen Motels wirklich empfehlenswert.

Als Oase inmitten der wüstenhaften Umgebung ist Palm Springs schon seit den zwanziger Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts Anziehungspunkt für zahlreiche Stars. Die Stadt ehrt berühmte Entertainer und Schauspieler mit Sternen auf dem Palm Canyon Drive, der in Downtown und Uptown über 500 Geschäfte bietet. Mit der nahe gelegenen Palm Springs Aerial Tramway fahren die Gäste in 10 Minuten die 2,5 Meilen (4 km) zum San Jacinto Peak, auf dem Wintersport und im Sommer Wandern möglich ist.
Alle Hotels in Palm Springs ansehenGrundsätzlich war der Zimmerkomfort ok. Bei unserem Zimmer funktionierte jedoch nur eine von vier Leuchten.

"Sehr schönes Hotel"
Wir waren schon mehrere Male da und gehen immer wieder gern hierher. Dieses sehr schöne Hotel mit einer wunderschönen Schwimmbadanlage ist unterdessen aber kein Geheimtip mehr. So hat es vielleicht ein bisschen von seiner "Ruhe" verloren. Vor 2-3 Jahren war man im November oft beinahe alleine im Pool, heute trifft man vermehrt Gäste, die mehrere Tage […] bleiben. Wir kommen seit mehreren Jahren immer wieder gerne in dieses Hotel: Super-Schwimmbad, saubere Zimmer, Wifi das gut funktionniert. In dieser Peiskategorie haben wir in Palm Springs noch nichts besseres gefunden. Einzig die Fernbedienung unseres Fernsehers ging nicht,aber man geht ja nicht nach PS um fern zu sehen!

War alles zur besten Zufriedenheit! Nettes Hotel, allerdings ein wenig Abseits vom Zentrum.

Hotel ist für diesen Preis mehr als in Ordnung. Super Pool-Area - riesig, mit Fackeln, gratis Kaffee in der Lobby. Zum Schlendern durch Palm Springs ist die Lage aber nicht so gut, weil etwas außerhalb.

Our stay was very comfortable clean and accommading. Loved the green grass area for our dog. She was very happy playing with the other dogs and we were very happy visiting with all the friendly people who were staying at the hotel.
"A few problems but nothing major"
Loved the room. It had a great feel to it. Beds were comfy. Shower was great except there were times it would change it's mind on which way hot was. First night there woke up in the morning to only find decaf coffee. Not a deal breaker. However for the rest of my stay they could not seem to get the coffee situation right. On the second day I coffee […] grinds had spilled out of the prewrapped bags and house keeping never cleaned it up. Then again, not a big deal to me. It was just something I noticed. Loved the huge windows and pool, and hot tub. The staff was friendly enough. They didn't seem to mind me always asking for coffee and extra towels for my room. I would stay there again. hotel provided us with a micro wave which we were told would be in the room through hotel .com reservations. i only wish we were able to reach the hotel directly then this could be avoided. the sheet s were not changed during our three day stay. Jessica was our maid. we were out when she was making our bed.

There were some various discomforts with the room and grounds - the keys consistently didn't work for me and other various hotel guests I saw struggling with their doors; the shower and sinks were partially clogged and drained slowly; there is no restaurant or bar on the premises; the upstairs neighbors' steps were quite loud on the ceiling. The price was about the best for PS. Pool was acceptable, not great -- surrounded by parking, which destroyed much of the ambience. Lots of kids playing, and guys bringing in their 24 packs of beer to the pool. "Actually get a lot for your money"
They allow pets and I've heard of some people complaining about uncleanliness. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was really nice! The room actually had a lot of things I didn't think we'd get for the price, like a safe and a mini fridge. Sweet! AC was great too. Honestly, this room was a really great stay for night.

Stayed here during Coachella weekend and arrived to the room being hotter than the temperature outside and smelling strongly of eggs / sulfur. Notified the front desk and they said they had no other rooms but would send someone up with a spray. No one ever came. The odor and a fairly large stain on the carpet made us question the cleanliness of the […] room. "Very unique place!"
I've stayed at several Palm Springs resorts. This one is quite unique. I was surprised by the number of young people (20's). Lots of eye candy. The place is very well maintained and very picturesque. My room had a wall air-conditioner which I didn't care for at all, but otherwise the place was great!

My wife & I stayed here for a romantic escape from work & found this hotel to be very comfortable, with a spacious room & bathroom. Check in was fast & easy, rooms were quiet & the location is great. As an extra bonus, the pool stays open late!

"Best Getaway in the Area"
I made this reservation while on the road, It was very nice from the web on my phone. When we arrived we were greeted by Gareth and Joey. Both were very nice and arranged the room that we had asked for on the internet. They gave us the room keys and all necessary papers and Instructions for the room. We went to the room and changed into swim suits and […] went for the Hot Tub and Pool. The pool was perfect as was the hot tub. Temperature was perfect. We are from Washington and had driven here. We were ready to relax for a couple of days. Relax is exactly what we did. Quiet and pleasing., All staff were nice and helpfull. Ileana was the most helpful. We will be back and we will stay here. Overall I had a good impression. My son enjoyed outdoor heated swimming pool , I liked the torches and tiki lawn. Pretty close to downtown - not the walking distance, but 5 minutes by car. Nice location! The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that there was no microwave in our room. Usually fridge and microwave oven come together, but not […] there. This is a very nice older hotel. It has a large pool with a jacuzzi. It was a very pleasant place to stay. It was quiet and the other guests were good people. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem I had is that some of the front desk staff were new to their jobs and were inexperienced. The initial impression was a little worrisome. No special check in area, very unprofessional looking. However the staff were competent, but not very knowledgable about the area. "WHAT A DUMP"
The website says this place has a bar and a restaurant, it has neither! Hotel was unfinished and looks like its underconstruction. The staff was unfriendly, and our room keys stopped working twice while we were there. NO BAR NO FOOD NOT EVEN A PLACE TO GET SOME WATER.TO GET A POOL TOWEL YOU HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY AROUND TO THE FRONT DESK. ALL IN ALL […] I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS "HOTEL" AGAIN. "just missing continental breakfast which would be"
We had a great time & wish we had book for longer stay as we had go over to Vavabong which was discussing. Then moved to Travelodge for 3 more nights we stayed in Palm Springs for total of 6 nights. So definitely would come back. Thanks to Sadie. Sincerly The Corkums.

"A Place with potential!"
The Caliente Tropic was a place of potential. The re-do of the rooms is admirable. The beds and chairs need replacement, but the carpeting, built-in units and the granite top counters and showers were beautifully done. The card door lock mechanisms need some work and check-in and customer attention could use focus, but the place was relatively quiet […] and perfect for the few days of quiet and an opportunity to catch up on paper work while I spent a few days in PS. "Great hotel"
We stayed here for a couple of nights with our dog. The hotel staff was amazing, ready to answer any questions, always friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were clean and great. The cabanna's were comfortable and free! Our only complaints are: my fiancé thought the bed was a little uncomfortable, and I thought the water pressure and temperature […] in the showers weren't great. Very minor complaints. Pretty hotel, nice lobby. Surprised that on line there were restaurants and bar. Not so. Had lots of furniture but both closed sometime ago. Called on phone prior to arrival numerous times, No answer. Staff member on duty very cordial and helpful. Arrived late. No water fountain or drinking water available. Had to buy water from vending machine.

We loved our stay at Caliente. Obviously it's not like staying at the Parker, but who has money for that! All in All, it was clean, it was great for the money, and wasn't too far from the strip or the Drive thru Starbucks either! It's got a great pool. the bathroom fixtures could have used a good scrubbing. No soap the first day. Never did have two full sets of towels - always something missing. Room was quiet and grounds were very nice. Overall a good value for the price.

"Great Time"
Saw some bad reviews and figured people only leave reviews when they have something bad to say. So, I'll talk about our great stay. Me and my wife decided to get away from the weekend. Comfortable, clean rooms. Great pool, good location, and all around positive experience.

Price for this hotel was significantly less than surrounding locations. Decent hotel if you are looking for a value. Really small bathrooms, Decent beds, dated decor, dated TV, neat pool area. Nothing fancy and was a decent value.

"Caliente Tropic -- fine place to stay except for"
Every single day, there would be no washcloths or small towels delivered: they would run out of them until the laundry was done at 4:30. I asked at the front desk, to PLEASE order more, so that every morning, new ones could be put in the rooms when they are cleaned and I hope the check out person, tells the manager.
