Einzig die sehr zentrale Lage am Rande der zentralen Amüsierstraßen des French Quarter sollten Besucher überdenken, die besonderen Wert auf eine ruhige Umgebung legen (innerhalb des Hotels ist hiervon allerdings nichts zu spüren).

Nov. 2012Das Hotel ist unschlagbar gut gelegen, nur eine Querstraße von der quirligen Bourbon Street weg, so dass man mitten im Geschehen ist, aber nicht den Partylärm vor dem Fenster hat. Frühstück hatten wir uns gespart, braucht man auch nicht, da um die Ecke jede Menge Cafés/Restaurants sind. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels hatten wir hier selbst im 5. Stock in einem Zimmer am Ende des Ganges noch sehr guten WLAN-Empfang. Das Zimmer war sauber, recht geräumig und hatte einen Safe.

What a great hotel. Staff was very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was really good. A lot to choose from on the breakfast bar Hot & Cold. Our suite was awesome. Very clean and smelled "new". The location was close to the French Quarter and Superdome, which is what we were wanting. Restaurants were plentiful also. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Simply put - horrified that this hotel represents itself as a Residence Inn . Old and tiny suite and fridge ancient . I asked for a refund as I would not stay in such a place. Brian at the desk made you feel that if anything at all was needed it would be taken care of. The breakfast selection was over the top, breakfast area was slightly too crowded at peak time but it was a Sunday morning. We enjoyed the suite room. It was well appointed and well supplied with everything you need with a full kitchen and dining. I really enjoyed the custom sofa (queen sleeper) and all the desk and workstation space . The bedroom off to the side with the kitchen out of site and the personal space to relax and rest on the plush bedding and down comforters. […] I was so cozy and ensconced in the space we stayed an additional night! The hotel is centrally located to city's largest shopping mall and 5 minutes from downtown and The French Quarter. The price was very reasonable. The staff true southern hospitality. With the name Marriott involved you can count on true luxury and comfort and so much more. It met my needs and it was close to the interstate. However, the nearby road construction made it confusing to get to the hotel. I was pleased with the price. Because the room had a fridge, there were no ice machines. U had to turn the ice machine on before it began to produce ice. We traveled to the New Orleans area because of a death in the family. Unfortunately, there was no bereavement rate. The hotel was comfortable, except for the room temperature. Most of the time it was too cold. We tried to adjust the thermostat, but it would turn off when moved slightly to a higher temperature and the room became too hot. We couldn't […] find a comfortable temperature by trying to adjust the thermostat. On the second day of our stay, the bathroom mirror looked as if it hadn't been cleaned. The Residence Inn was a great place to stay. The neighborhood was good and it is located right off of I-10. The rooms were quiet, and clean. There was a lot of rain that day so the drains were very slow. The desk attendant sent someone out within 2-3 minutes, and just as he said as the night went on the drains started working properly. We were charged a pet fee of 3 digits (can't post specific rate) because the room has a kitchen and furniture they move to clean after pets stay. We were greeted by a heavy amount of air freshener scent in the room. We found a sticky residue on the decorative bed runner and couch. The kitchen was dirty between cabinets and appliances where they claim […] they clean. We found dishwasher rack wheels inside the bottom of the dishwasher.The stove was wobbly and the cabinet below the sink wouldn't close properly.The lamps were dirty. The closet doors simply don't work and one has broken mirror at the bottom. The iron was full of water and had a white dusty residue on the base of it. The safety bar in the shower is seriously loose. Paper was jammed in the frame of a door to the HVAC unit. When we asked for a change of bedding the cleaning lady only had sheets readily available proving that only sheets are changed regularly. We found that what was supposed to be free internet could easily not be free if you're not careful and they charge for local calls. We smelled a smoke odor in the bathroom area on occasion. Most hotels say that they are there to help with info on the area etc., but when I asked the front desk person which place was the best to get pizza she said she didn't know and when I asked if anyone else was there that might know she said nobody else was there on Sunday. Hotel staff allowed family and friend to use the pool and barbeque area late into the evening hours disrupting a well needed nights sleep. "Nice deal, quite place."
I booked our one bedroom suite so my teenage son would have a place to sleep that was separated from us. Well to my surprise, not only was it a separate "area" but it was also a whole separate room! The living area had a comfy pull out sofa, a kitchen ( complete with dishes and utensils), a dresser and tv, and desk with lots of outlets ( always a plus). […] The bed room and bath were typical but clean and well furnished. Our rooms were quiet and the staff polite and helpful. Everyday we went down to eat the free continental breakfast which really was much more then we expected, eggs, yogurt parfait, potatoes, bisquits and gravy. Seriously, after eating all that we didn't need to eat again until dinner. This hotel is a wonderful place for a family to chill, away from the hub bub of the city. If i could've given this hotel a 6 for comfort and convenience i would have! In town for a conference at a nearby hospital, this hotel was easy to find late at night, and felt like home away from home. "Great for what we needed"
We stayed here for a wedding in Metairie. For us the location was perfect as it was near I-10 and next to many amenities. Check-in was smooth. Our luggage got lost on the way here but when it arrived from the airport we got a call from the front desk which was nice. The major issue for us was that the rooms were not cleaned by 2pm which was when we […] got back to the room for our child's nap everyday. So the next day I told the maid to clean the room before 2pm and she did. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had something for everyone. We had the tacos for the evening snack which was nice except for that the meat sauce was too salty. One other issue was that we were given a room on the 3rd floor and there is not an elevator as far as I could tell so we had to lug our luggage up to the 3rd floor. This hotel worked really well for me and my family. The separate living room and bedroom was perfect for getting my 3 year old to go to bed at a decent time while allowing me and my wife a chance to stay up and watch tv. "Nice and Clean"
The hotel was extremely clean and when the room service came in each day they put any dirty dishes in the dishwasher for you. The breakfast every morning was great! It wasn't in the heart of town but it was only about 10 minutes from New Orleans and the commute wasn't bad. Would highly recommend this hotel.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
