We were moving out of our house and stayed at the Residence Inn for 2 nights. We had lived in the area for 5+ years and didn't even know it was there! We were on the top floor and it was VERY quiet. Plus, the doors have a non-slamming feature that every hotel should have. Breakfast was fine; but only ate there one morning. The downside was the sleeper […] sofa. I wish hotels would realize that these mattresses need to be better quality as people do actually sleep n them. Lastly, it's a non-smoking hotel and the staff were on too of it. I just wish people that do smoke wouldn't stand RIGHT by the doors to do; inconsiderate. I would recommend this Resisdence Inn. Mehr

This is my second stay here and a number of people have had issues with the housekeeping staff being very aggressive about coming into the room. It doesn't seem to matter if you have the do not disturb sign out, they want to come in. Make sure you also use the secondary locks or you could end up on them walking in as you get out of the shower, as happened […] to one of the guys last year. Mehr

I stayed here NYE night the ppl below me were drunk and kept calling the front desk lying saying we were loud. We were woken out of are sleep twice b/c of them the person at desk kept calling, thirdly the ppl below us bang on the ceiling and woke the whole room up. This hotel is quite noisy. Everytime someone flushes or turns on a water faucet, you can hear it throughout the building. Makes sleeping a challenge.

Our stay was a novel experience for us in several ways. It was first time we spent Christmas in a hotel and lived there for more than a week with our two cats. This hotel is a little tough to find. The signage is small and aside from the roadway, and the hotel is behind 2 other buildings. There are 3 other hotels on the loop. At check-in the 2 young gentlemen at the front desk were great. Very nice and fun to talk with. The only negative was the shower stall is in need of repair. Nothing major just a matter […] of some small fix up. It was noisy but for University of Michigan Homecoming Week it was acceptable. Clean room and kind employees. Close to market. Very good blackfast. For some japaneese and Koreans. They have got asian foods. It was very good for me. I strongy recommand this lovly accomodation!
