The staff was courteous and very friendly. They were able to help me with everything I asked of them.

The room had an awful smell to it when we entered. Had to leave the door open and let it air out. The TV wasn't plugged in. Once we plugged it in, we found the remote was not working properly. Not all of the buttons were functioning. If you are just looking for a place to stay a night and get a shower, this is it.

not bad for the location, it ain't the greatest but it was not bad at all

the surrounding neighborhood is a very bad area. the room was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. but because the towels were stained and the pool was a hole, i wouldn't stay here again. the ac worked very well, but the ice machine was broke.

Will stay There next time

The hotel was nice; however, the light above the mirror didn't work, the TV remote did not work, and there were stains on the carpet. If you can live with that for a night, then it's alright.

Great location if attending spurs games. Woke up in the am to find a roach on the table. Good Morning! =] it's a cheap overnight stay, good enough for just sleeping.

Remote didn't work. How did we live without them? room was comfortable and convenient. They don't get many guests. I had stopped there a few weeks before also.

If you need a place to crash very near to the ATnT center, this place is satisfactory. There were some things like linen stains and noise bleed that would probably irk some people.

This hotel is awful. The staff are rude! They wanted to charge us $20 to rent an iron. They questioned us as though we were criminals. We will never stay at Travelodge again!

sound like you staying in some hotel in third world country

Needed just a place to sleep that was close to AT&T center. Hotel was clean, staff was plesant, and perfect location for my need

The entire experience was a negative one. I reserved 2 rooms and when we checked in only one room key was activated and I had to return to the front desk. The next night my room key stopped working and the desk clerk was very uncooperative about helping us get into our room. We spent an hour trying to convince him to come and see that there was a problem […] with the door. He was also rude to another quest who had locked his key in his room. I will never again stay at that Travelodge and may never stay at any Travelodge. Mehr

The hotel is in dire need of attention. The hotel is very dirty, in a bad neighborhood, and in my opinion unhealthy. I would never consider staying there again. The management is unfriendly and non-cooperative.

Arrived at check-in time 3PM on a Sunday. No other vehicles in parkingt lot-they were expecting me?--room not ready until 3:30--had to wait in lobby at uncleaned tables set out for continental breakfast. Deposits required for everything,ie. iron, phone--I was using credit card-still had to go to lobby, wait extended times to get these things. Breakfast […] included was stale bread and not much more. No pastries or even milk for the cereal. Remote for TV didn't work-took to office rpeatedly and on the third day of my stay they finally took the time to find one that worked. Luke warm water. Noisy plumbing and bugs--not sure what they were. If not for a non-refundable 6 day reservation, I would have gone elsewhere. REALLY glad when my stay was over!!!!!!!!!!! Mehr

This hotel is pretty run down. My room had a funny smell and was just generally worn out. On the positive site, it was very affordable, had clean sheets, and the front desk clerk was friendly. It is also very easy to access off I-10. Don't expect much, and you'll be satisfied.

hotel is not maintained well. and there is not need to have calls at 10 am to remind of time to leave

It was okay. Clean, and easy access to highway 10 and not a bad drive to downtown area. I wouldn't want to actually spend time there but it was fine for sleeping. We were busy with our sons Air Force graduation so we didn't mind but not a place to hang out by the pool. They tried to charge us 20 dollars just to use an iron and there were some construction […] workers doing a job there that used the swimming pool. As far as the breakfast goes it was only frosted flakes and bad coffee. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfect. Good place if you are just tired after a long day. I have been traveling (job related) throughout Texas for the last 4 months. I have stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say that this is the worst hotel that I have stayed in the entire 4 months. The desk clerk disinterested and at times rude. The hair dryer did not work and I could not get any help with that problem -- in spite of the fact that […] I was on the way to a job interview. The room was not clean. I saw only one other car in the parking lot, so being too busy could not be a valid excuse. Would not recommend this hotel. Mehr

The beds were hard as a rock and the restroom smelled of urine.

Brown slime on the sink (think it was tobacco chew). Plugged/overflowing drains in sink & shower Shower did not work well (limited spray) Smelled like smoke (in a non-smoking room) Only 2-towels provided for 2-people (total)? Front office smelled like sweat

The location was great but would not walk to concert.The room was clean Need to fix ice machine, need to have irons that work. Could not check in early without paying more(did not like that!!!)was there at 2pm.

This is located within 2 miles of both the AT&T center and the Alamodome. It was very clean and easy to get to. The bed is very comfortable. The only issue was the low flow toliet, very hard to flush down toliet paper.

By reading all the negative reviews about this hotel, I was a little apprehensive about staying there. It turned out to be fine. When you get there they do ask for a $25 refundable deposit which I did get back when I left. The room was only 3 or 4 exits from downtown which was very convenient. I would stay there again. The room we stayed in was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. This was the first time we used Hotels.com and we recommend it to anyone looking for a great bargain.

When we first got there we went to check in and the person at the front desk didnt speak very good english and i couldnt understand anything he was saying. They made me put a $20 deposit even though it was already charged to my credit card and i didnt understand why so i was pretty upset about that. Then they didnt have any extra pillows or blankets […] without charging us for them. We were standing outside the hotel waiting on our friends and the hotel manager drove by and told us we couldnt be having a party outside even though we were just waiting on our friends to come outside so we could leave and go do what we had planned for the day. Overall i did not like the hotel at all. I would recommend staying somewhere else even if it cost more. next time i go to san antonio i will stay somewhere else even if it cost a little more. Mehr

Great room for the money....neighborhood was a little rough, but accomodations were fine.

El recepcionista del turno de la mañana muy grosero nos contestó que ya no había desayuno después de las 9:30 cuando a las 8:00 am del viernes 27 ene no habían puesto nada. El desayuno demasiado pobre. Las toallas del baño demasiado delgadas y con manchas, las camas muy incómodas. Muy solo y peligroso para andar de noche por los alrededores.
