Ramada Plaza Abbotsford - Abbotsford

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and large rooms for us and our 3 kids. My only comment would be that I wish there were microwaves and fridges in the rooms.

We were very happy with our stay at the Ramada.

Reservations were handled easily and accommodations were more than satisfactory. I booked 8 rooms on very short notice and am more than pleased. Great to have th restaurant right there too. We will be back.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada Plaza in Abbotsford. At first we were a little concerned with the hotels close proximity to the Highway, this was not an issue at all. We had a very restful nights sleep in a quiet and cozy atmoshpere. Hopefully we can have a longer stay in the future.

My room, while clean and comfortable, was next to a noisy ice maker and vending machines which spoiled the stay.

Hotel is very convenient to see and find and close to many good tourist stops. Next to Castle Fun Park - fun for all ages. Good access to sightseeing, dining, shopping, etc. Will be back again.

Although this hotel is supposed to be a 3 star hotel it was more like a 1star! Aside from messing up our reservation where I had requested a 4th floor room,(recently upgraded), we ended up on the 2nd floor next to the ice machine and housekeeping closet which made it very noisy in the evening and early morning. Plus the room had only plastic cups for […] drinks or coffee, even the cheapest hotels have glass mugs for your coffee!! The worst part, our toilet was not working properly and ultimately overflowed. Housekeeping came and mopped it up (yuck) but didn't do so great a job. They gave us the key to the room next door to use the bathroom there, which was an ok solution but inconvenient to say the least. To top it off, when I asked for a reduction in our room rate upon checkout, they offered me $20.00 off -- hardly compensation for the worst hotel stay of the summer. I will never stay there again, very very disappointed in the front desk manager, and I will be telling all my hockey moms about this incident too. Mehr

Only spent one night there due to business. White Spot Restaurant attached is a huge bonus, as is the indoor pool and hot tub (open til 11 which is nice!) My problem was a very weak wifi signal in my room on the 2nd floor...could not even see it as an option on my iphone. Odd that I had an unbelievable signal strength in the pool.

I loved the fact that I could bring my dog...the pool was open until 11 every night - so that was great, too. I wish I had discovered the little trail ( Winfield Park ) sooner - as it was a great place to take the dog for a walk. It was very close - right beside the White Spot ) Would have been nice to have a dog waste station ( with bags and a garbage […] container ) in the grassy area..but other than that, I was pretty happy. One other thing - there was used soap in the bathtub when we arrived which kind of grossed me out. Mehr

Now I understand why all corporate travelers stay here. I paid literally $3 more to stay here compared to other listings and after driving past the others during my stay, I'm glad I made the "leap". It is very clean, updated, extremely professional and the White Spot restaurant attached was the best one I've ever dined at. Impeccable service and a more […] luxurious dining environment. FYI: I was not a corporate traveller at this time, but with my family. Only thing I would have seen changed was have the hot tub more hot; apparently, someone complained it was too hot the day before so it was slightly warm versus 'hot'. Mehr

Had to stay overnight Christmas Day and found the hotel was fine. No troubles at all. If you need a fridge you must request one in advance.

Lobby was very clean and check-in staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. We were given good directions for our room as weel as food availability. Room was comfortably furnished, WiFi worked without any problem. Beds were very comfortable and showers were top notch. We left knowing we would return to this Ramada Plaza again on our next visit. […] I would highly reccomend this location. Mehr

We booked here specifically to go to the adjacent Castle Fun Park, so the location couldn't be beat. For those wanting to stay IN Abbotsford, it's close, but you must drive. For easy access on and off the highway, this is a perfect spot with gas stations, restaurants and even a liquor store within walking distance. This is a very nice and clean property. […] We got a great rate and my only 'complaints' were the light in the bathroom vanity flickered and would not actually just turn on. The tub had real problems draining, and the air-conditioning would not remain on making the room quite stuffy despite the cool afternoon temperatures outside. Aside from that, there is a very nice pool and spa area, a small gym, and attached to the hotel is a family restaurant. I would stay here again, it would just be nice if there was a little more maintenance done. Mehr

Horrible mattress

This is a pretty utility hotel for the price but very convenient if you are just driving over the Sumas/Aldergrove border and want a hotel to crash in.
