der empfang = 0 mussten die koffer selber schleppen vom auto bis ins zimmer, concierge hochnäsig arrogant und gar frech.. die zimmer aber auch der allgemeine gesamtzustand dieser anlage lässt seitens einrichtung sehr zu wünschen übrig. sauberkeit? auskunft? info? das für xxx euro die nacht? bei regen ist es nicht mal wasserdicht im zimmer.. die anlage […] braucht vom a-z eine komplettsanierung. ich reise seit 20 jahren um den globus immer minimum 4 sterne aber sowas habe ich im besten willen nicht mal in drittweltländern erlebt. Frühstücks -Personal : zu viel Personen, langweilten sich, tratschten und gähnten um 9:00, der Junge Kleine wirft Messer in die Höhe um es dann wieder zu fangen.... Ausnahmen: 2 Ältere Ober (einer im weissen Jacket) Die Croissants sind regelmäßig verkohlt... The hotel is located in Viareggio which is a very nice town for strolling along the seaside with its shops and restaurants, enjoying the the circa 1900 period architecture of the old theatres and bathing establishments. The Palace hotel has a wonderful breakfast in a grand dining room, our clean room was decorated in period style with a nice terrace […] and spacious bathroom. The hotel has large a roof top terrace and lounge. The service here is professional and excellent. Mehr

Nice hotel, very well located in front of the sea shore. Good service. It is ok for a 4 star hotel in Italy.

Perhaps it is because my partner and I stayed in good hotels in Rome and Florence (for cheaper) but I was not hugely impressed with this hotel, especially given the rooms were renovated in early 2010. It is an old fashioned hotel so if you like modern rooms then avoid. The breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable, also the staff are friendly. The […] shower was not great and there was a cracked tile in it with peeling paint. Yes, there is Sky but none of the channels were English so of no real use. Also it is expensive to hire chairs/sunbeds for the main beach so you should take this into account when visiting Viareggio. Mehr

As an Hotels.com customer was allocated a rear room with no view and limited storage space particularly for suitcases

We were thoroughly pleased with the Palace Hotel and the entire area. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The last day of our stay we had to leave before breakfast was served, so the staff graciously provided us with a sack of breads, cheese, fruit and drink. The hotel was well located for viareggio and the beach, it was right on the front and had a lovely roof terrace which we enjoyed sitting on in the April/ May sunshine. interestingly the hotel didn't believe it was 'summer' and consequently hadn't cleaned the tiled floor on the balcony (easily done?) and they started painting the balustrades whilst we […] were there, whilst hunting for sunbeds for us. (i must stress there were local italian people using beaches, so it wasn't just mad english people using the balcony in very little sun!) The hotel itself was kept clean, and bed linen was changed every day, as were towels, but the geenral decor of the hotel was tired and reception not staffed full time, it could have been better! I booked this hotel for an overnight stop in Viareggio. Its now the end of season there as it is a seaside town and we arrived on a Monday, which is.the day when most of the restaurants/attractions are closed. The lovely Francesca on reception recommended a lovely restaurant nearby called La Chiesia-and old church now aa restaurant with lots of pictorial […] references to Shellys demise and Byron and Puccini. Great range of menu, relaxed atmosphere and great service. Pizza, pasta, meat and fish. We had grilled seabass, grilled vegetables and some of the best fries I have ever had! I had a a fantastic Diavolo Pizza. Half lite of house red and 1/4 ltr of house white wine, water and two coffees. The bill was only 41euros! The hotel is best decribed as lived in elegance and has lovely art deco features and a fabulous view form the 4th floor roof terrace. The linen on the bed was monogrammed and of the highest quality. Even although we booked a non refundable room, we were given a large side view room with a view on to the sea with a little terrace. The room has a a reasonably priced Mini bar, lots of towels and toiletries in a beatiful little pouch bag. The beds and pillows are amongst the most comfortable I have experienced in a long time. TV has a couple of english channels and many european language channels. Breakfast room is beautiful with the most gorgeous chandeliers. Breakfast was a great selection including bacon and eggs. Francesca on reception is very helpful, very kind and her English is great. Staff in the hotel very nice too. I would recommend this hotel very highly but please do not book it if you do not love hotels with character and old fashioned eleganceand charm. Mehr

The hotel was very old and tired and in need of a complete overhaul. The bedroom doors are still operated by a large key (on a massive heavy metal keyring) and not electronic. There are old patterned carpets and ornaments on display throughout the hotel. The hairdryer was on the bathroom wall and was really ancient and very slow. Clean, organized, lovely lobby, excellent friendly bi-lingual (Italian / English) staff, immaculate bathroomand very comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast is sumptuous no matter what kind of food you like. The terrace on the fourth floor has a great view and lovely sitting area. Definitely deserves the four star rating.

The Palace Hotel is nice but even though it is said to be a 4 star hotel it is NOT. The staff are really nice and very helpful and speak great English, the daily breakfast was VERY good and had lots of selection. The rooms were nice but the baths were VERY small. My wife and I stayed in the Palace last week and we really enjoyed it there. It was a last minute booking as we only ecided to finish our tuscany holiday in Viarreggio at the last minute. The hotel is quite a 1920's themed/styled hotel but is certainly very comfortable and tastfully done, rooms have very high ceilings (approx 15 feet), with an entrance […] hall, and bathroom with each room so plenty of space. We booked just a standard double room. Beds are extremely comfortable and for a 7euro surcharge we got breakfast delivered to the room on a trolley which included juices, pastries, cold meat/cheese assortment, tea/coffee. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the sea and saves you the 15euros of paying for a sunbed across the road on the private beaches. also the friendly waitress supplied us with refreshments on the terrace all day aswell and the drinks were reasonably priced. The location of the hotel was excellent - right in the middle of the long coastal road in viareggio and right opposite alot of the better restaurants along the strip. Be sure to park your car around the side of the hotel on the left hand side of the road (its free on that side) or if you cannot get parking here drive along the road behind the hotel - it is free on-street parking under the tree-lined road there also. Otherwise you can get a 24-ticket for 7euros from the hotel. Mehr

per essere un hotel 4 stelle non si può mettere tre persone in una camera piccola già per due, aggiungendo il terzo letto ai piedi del matrimoniale impedendo l'apertura dell'armadio! Il resto è da quattrro stelle. Comunque per questa grave carenza della camera di sicuro non ci ritornerò'

L hotel est tres bien placé, les chambres sont grandes et le lit a l' ancienne est tres confortable!! mais l etat general des chambres et de la sdb ne vaut certainement pas 4 etoiles....

Hotel di grande fascino e bellezza. L'edificio è in stile liberty e conserva la struttura e gli arredi d'epoca. Questi significa rinunciare a qualche confort moderno (ad esempio un box doccia tecnologico) per recuperare il piacere di soggiornare in un ambiente pieno di charme. Nice hotel with "old world charm". Our visit was during low season and the staff were kind enough to upgrade our room to a sea facing unit. Nice selection for breakfast. Excellent location at the beach.

Hotellet ligger fint med utsikt utover sjøen, men en bred gate skiller hotellet fra strandpromenaden og stranden. Rommene var av veldig ulik karakter, noen var mørke og dystre med bråkete airconditionsanlegg som måtte skrus av for å få nattesøvn. Innredet i gammel stil, Art Deco, ga en kald og upersonlig atmosfære. Det beste ved hotellet var en fantastisk […] takterrasse som reddet hele oppholdet. Solsenger og parasoller og en hyggelig bar på toppen, utsikt utover stranden og sjøen så langt øyet kunne se. Imidlertid blir man litt lurt når det står at hotellet har privat strand. Det betyr ikke at det er gratis! Det kostet ganske mye for å leie stol og parasoll der nede. Stranden var delt inn i geledd på geledd med fluktstoler og framsto som lite koselig. Mehr

Ottimo Hotel, Ottimo servizio, Ottima reception... .....Ottima permanenza Le camere sono un pó piccole ma il contesto ed il servizio rendono ancora piú piacevole la permanenza Ottima soluzione a qualche metro dal lungomare

Плюсы отеля: 1. Прекрасное расположение - две минуты до моря. 2. Собственный песчаный пляж. 3. Дружелюбный и отзывчивый персонал. 4. Близось к кафе и ресторанам. 5. Соседство с большим зеленым парком. Минусы отеля: 1. Бар-ресторан отеля работает по расписанию. 2. Из коридора слышно, что обсуждается в номере.

Un Hotel 4 stelle vecchio stile. L'accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale non l'ho mai trovata da nessun altra parte, veramente molto bravi. L'hotel sembra un pochino vecchiotto, forse dovuto al suo arredamento stile liberty, però perfettamente efficiente. La camera era molto silenziosa, ampia, con tutti i comfort. Anche qui l'ambiente dava l'idea […] di un po' di passato. La colazione ottima, il servizio straordinario, nulla da eccepire, tutto buono e tantissime cose tra cui scegliere. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chi ha bisogno di passare una o due notti, magari in giro per lavoro o per il weekend. Per soggiorni più lunghi non posso esprimermi in quanto non l'ho provato. Meget god og vennlig service på hotellet. ganske stor forskjell på rommene til samme pris, litt slitt men kan anbefales.

goed, wat ouderwets hotel. ligging midden aan de boulevard is goed. personeel is vriendelijk. gevraagde stalling voor motoren was geregeld.
