Das Kempinski Hotel in Budapest kann man nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Service, Zimmer, Lage und Ambiente konnten uns voll und ganz überzeugen.

Wir haben einen kurzen Urlaub in Budapest gemacht und haben uns für Kempinski entschieden. Sehr zentral gelegen, Klasse ausgestattet, Wellnessbereich ist auch zu empfehlen. Man kann überall zu Fuss gehen. Nur die Rechnung für den Parkplatz war etwas zu hoch, so sind die Preise wohl im Zentrum der Stadt. Anders kann man es nur empfehlen.

Unser Zimmer hatte nur eine Dusche (keine Badewanne) und dies für ein 5* hotel. Wir waren 4 Nächte in einem Doppelzimmer!!!An der Reception sagte mann uns dies seit üblich und erwünscht für Geschächfsleute.Aber wir waren für Ferien und ein verlängertes Wochenende da.Ab 2-3 Nächte ist es ofter üblich in 5* upgrading zu bekommen (Marriott-Sheraton-Interconti. […] etc), wir hatten das Kleinste noch dazu ohne Bad ,Zimmer (554). Nur am Ersten und am letzten Abend bekammen wir eine Flasche Wasser, nicht wie üblich, jeden Abend frisch. Sxchade, es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel gut gelegen auch für Feriengäste sehr zu empfehlen aber es fehlt ein bischen das now how für mehr entgegenkommen des Feriengast an der Reception. Mehr

Sehr schönes Hotel, kann man jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Das Kempinski hat uns in allen Punkten überzeugt. Insbesondere die super Lage in Mitten der Einkaufszone gleich bei der Donau, der sehr gute Service sowie das tolle Spa haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super. Einzig das Frühstück war völlig überteuert, deshalb haben wir dies nicht beansprucht.

I stay at the Kempinski at least once a month for a few nights at a time. I am always very satisfied and hence why I return. Their loyalty program has kicked in for me and I my room was upgraded which was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, if you are in Budapest you should stay here.

When I booked The Kenpinski I had no idea how wonderful the experience would be. The location was central to everything and the staff went out of their to accommodate our every wish and need. We loved Budapest and everything about The Kempinski.

Just steps from the main Metro terminal, at the head of Budapest's great shopping street, and within walking distance of many of Budapest's historic sites (and an easy metro ride to many others), the Kempinski is an ideal location to access all of Budapest. It is elegant, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The staff exemplify the Hungarian warmth, charm […] and helpfulness. The only negative is that smoking - even cigar smoking - is allowed in the lobby and part of the restaurant. Not a big problem...many fantastic restaurants are steps away, including Gerbaud, one of Europe's best coffee and pastry emporiums. Mehr

Absolute a fantastic hotel, right in the center of Budapest.

The Wifi connection is appaling..... The staff was not helpful and could not deal with the Wifi issues

A clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff, always smiling and cheerful. Rooms were a good size and well maintained. Good location, within easy distance of all major sights. Wide variety of choice at breakfast.

I stayed at the Kempinski in Bratislava and the High Tatras in Slovakia a few days prior to my stay in Budapest. The Corvinus did not measure up to the standard I had come to expect with a Kempinski Hotel. The fitness center and spa are nothing special, but the biggest dissapointment was how they handle the segregation of non-smoking and smoking areas […] in the lounge. Even though tables are posted as non-smoking, they allow "special guests" to smoke. When I confronted the manager about a smoker in the non-smoking section, I was told the he was a more important guest than I, and they would not ask him to stop smoking. It seems they have a double standard for their guests. If you want to be treated fairly, I suggest you stay at another hotel in Budapest. Mehr

The hotel is very nice except the A/C was hot and the filter of the A/C was too dirty untill i asked the hotel to clean the filter.

My wife and I were extremely please to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary by staying at the Kempinski Corvinus Hotel in Budapest. The hotel satisfied all our requirements and made for an excellent base to visit the surrounding sights. The hotel is convenient to arrive at by using the public transport system, using the bus from the airport to the […] local metro station and from there to our destination. A stunning hotel with superb service, centrally located too!

Great location, free wifi, very comfy room. Very friendly staff who upgraded me to superior room as i had stayed there before. My last experience was quite average but this one really sold it to me.

I took my sister there for a w/e as a b'day treat however the experience left me regretting my choice of hotel. the room was tiny & very old-fashioned. the last evening, i even had a massive spider make an appearance. definitely NOT what i expect at a 5 star. the staff were ok, not overly friendly. only the concierge was very helpful. in general its […] a great location & a average hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's close to the pedestrian streets, close to the river front and convenient for the hop on hop off bus tours. The room was beautiful and the front desk staff and concierge were very helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

the hotel is situated very central - close to the city center and public transport. Very friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable - the hotel has a good atmosphere .The only thing the cleaning lady did not come until about 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Most comfortable hotel I've been in years. Personnel hospitality very welcoming - quiet, comfortable, luxurious rooms - perfect location to river, shopping, restaurants, but not too touristy or crazy. Park next door, wonderful restaurant on-grounds and nice spa on-grounds.

We loved the Kempinski in Budapest and absolutely wort it when you get a great rate. The hotel is very conveniently located in Pest and is a few minutes from the Danube. The quality of the hotel is obvious but the friendliness and flexibility of the staff is the real bonus of this wonderful hotel. They really go out of their way to go the extra mile for their guests - brilliant. The hotel is also brilliantly located for getting around - especially the Pest side - with good walking access nowhere being too far and the […] main metro station linking all 3 lines just outside the main entrance. The breakfasts were expensive but on balance so good that they were worth it. The spa was typical of a city centre hotel but very well kitted out and again the staff were very helpful.Thoroughly recommended. Mehr

I stopped at this hotel on a motorcycle tour of Eastern Europe. Despite the unorthodoxy method of arrival, I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. Real interest was shown in providing a safe place to store my bike (in the garage below the hotel). I stayed two nights, and had a great time. The concierge arranged for an amazing "behind-the-scenes" […] tour of Budapest with "Budapest Sights", which was AMAZING! I then had a 1.5 hour Thai Massage at the spa. It did wonders to relieve the stress I had accumulated traveling and riding a motorcycle for so long. Finally, the morning buffet is great. It has an wide selection of baked goods, cold cuts, and fresh produce. The omelet I had there ranks among the best I've EVER had. I would STRONGLY recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Budapest. It is very convenient to all the major sights, and has so much to offer. A++ Mehr

Excellent grand hotel, beautifully appointed room, best location in town. One complaint-could not access wireless Internet in our room, a significant inconvenience to us.

This is just a very nice hotel well run and situated. It's just around the corner from the main tourist square and not far from the Chain Bridge. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very nicely appointed except a little on the small side and did not a flat screen TV. To be fair , we were initially given a larger room but preferred a smaller room […] overlooking the park. Bathroom was really nice, room was very clean. It felt like an all around very nice hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel, it was like a palace. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, The Vaci street, and the sights of Budapest. We loved this one, and would go back again.

We were delighted to stay in the Kemplinski Corvinus hotel in Budapest. Superb service, spacious and very comfortable rooms, delightful breakfast (except for the pastry and bread products). The Kempinski will be our first choice in Budapest at our next visit.

This hotel was beautiful and located in a perfect spot for walking to shop, restaurants, and historical locations on the Pest side. Staff was extremely helpful. While it is an expensive hotel, I got a great deal from hotels.com. A perfect ending to our week long Danube River cruise. Hope to return someday.

The Kempinski is a fantastic hotel for both business and pleasure. I have stayed there a number of times, so was pleased that my room was upgraded and I was provided with some fresh fruit on arrival.

Stayed for 2 separate nights, great location, spacious rooms, great comfort.

The hotel was gorgeous, staff very friendly and all english speaking. Beautifully kept and very impressive when you first walk in. Didnt get to use the amenities although you have full access to the pool, steam room and the sauna but we where out in the city all day every day and never got round to it. The room was fantasic, no complaints there at all. […] Cleaning staff did turn up at 730am on the Friday morning that we were there but that was our fault too as we didnt put the do not disturb sign on the door! Still that was super early for housekeeping. Didnt make that mistake again. Very convenient location, found it really easy to get our bearings from where we were located. The airport shuttle bus stops right at the end of the street and you have like a 30 second walk to the hotel. Your right next to Andrassy Avenue and the sighseeng bus stops are everywhere, although dont expect them to be bang on time. Located right in the middle of everything. Also where three subway lines connect. Room was comfortable and nicely furnished. Spa area was very nice. Great price. Only complaint shower ran hot and cold by itself. two quenns would have been better than two twins. Still a great value.
