Nur ca. 80 m von der Metrostation Deak Ference entfernt. Großteil der Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten optimale Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus. Das Hotel selber kann ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis passen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Das Hotel hat eine Top-Lage in der Innenstadt. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert. Der Restaurant- Bereich ist besonders schön im alten Stil hergerichtet. Am Frühstücksbuffett ist für jeden etwas zu finden und bis zum Schluss wird alles aufgefüllt. Die Zimmer sind gut. Allerdings war der W-Lan Empfang im Anbau schlecht. Ein Netzwerkkabel gehörte auch zur Ausstattung. Der Wellness- Bereich ist sauber und gut. Alles in allem ein Super- Hotel, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. Das Frühstück würden wir nicht extra dazubuchen, aber wenn es im Preis incl. ist, kann

"top notch hotel"
This is just a very nice hotel well run and situated. It's just around the corner from the main tourist square and not far from the Chain Bridge. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very nicely appointed except a little on the small side and did not a flat screen TV. To be fair , we were initially given a larger room but preferred a smaller room […] overlooking the park. Bathroom was really nice, room was very clean. It felt like an all around very nice hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel, it was like a palace. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, The Vaci street, and the sights of Budapest. We loved this one, and would go back again.

We were delighted to stay in the Kemplinski Corvinus hotel in Budapest. Superb service, spacious and very comfortable rooms, delightful breakfast (except for the pastry and bread products). The Kempinski will be our first choice in Budapest at our next visit.

This hotel was beautiful and located in a perfect spot for walking to shop, restaurants, and historical locations on the Pest side. Staff was extremely helpful. While it is an expensive hotel, I got a great deal from hotels.com. A perfect ending to our week long Danube River cruise. Hope to return someday.

The hotel was gorgeous, staff very friendly and all english speaking. Beautifully kept and very impressive when you first walk in. Didnt get to use the amenities although you have full access to the pool, steam room and the sauna but we where out in the city all day every day and never got round to it. The room was fantasic, no complaints there at all. […] Cleaning staff did turn up at 730am on the Friday morning that we were there but that was our fault too as we didnt put the do not disturb sign on the door! Still that was super early for housekeeping. Didnt make that mistake again. Very convenient location, found it really easy to get our bearings from where we were located. The airport shuttle bus stops right at the end of the street and you have like a 30 second walk to the hotel. Your right next to Andrassy Avenue and the sighseeng bus stops are everywhere, although dont expect them to be bang on time. "Modern Hotel Great Location"
Located right in the middle of everything. Also where three subway lines connect. Room was comfortable and nicely furnished. Spa area was very nice. Great price. Only complaint shower ran hot and cold by itself. two quenns would have been better than two twins. Still a great value.

We have enjoyed stayin in the Kempinski Budapest over the years. Our last trip was a romantic weekend. We were able to get a great rate from hotels.com and booked. Our room was not as big as the ones we've stayed in before and breakfast, parking NOT included. The service is first rate and we will stay here again.

I stayed at Kempinski for business followed by week end with the family. I had a great stay. Hotel is of high standard, situated close to great shopping and touristic landmarks. Service was very good, staff was always willing to help and went to extra mile to please us. Highly recommended !

"The Kempinski Corvinus Budapest"
The Kempinski Corvinus Budapest is ideally located downtown just 2 blocks from St. Steven's and next to Vaci utca for food and shopping. The concierge was very helpful obtaining dinner reservations. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was supportive and the bath quite large. The only complaint we had was the inadequate air-conditioning. […] A service tech came up twice, pronounced the unit "fine" and that was it. No offer to move rooms. We slept without the only cover provided since it was a down duvet. I'm not sure why the A/C was so wimpy since it was only in the upper 70's and low 80's, though the humidity around 75% outside. At night the outside temperature was lower than that in the room but the widows could not be opened. Mehr

The hotel is centrally located, just steps from the downtown shopping district. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. Unfortunately the service is very impersonal, very disappointing for a hotel of this ranking A smile once in a while would go a long way.

We enjoyed our stay @ the Kempinski very much- It was a great location and which added to our visit. I visited the "spa" everyday...not for extra services but just the sauna, steam and showers. The chairs at the pool had stereo/headphones which I had not seen before. We were disappointed that the internet in the business center was a charge. In our […] Vienna hotels it was free. (we went to Vienna and Budapest on this trip) Internet was free IF you brought your own computer but we had decided not to travel with our laptop so we ended up going to internet cafe's which were MUCH less expensive than the business office. The concierge was GREAT- should always use, esp in such highly rated hotels. The only other "strange" thing was a lack of soap. The cleaning person took the soap from the shower and even when we asked for more, that disappeareded also. We had liquid body wash but no soap. Still- a great place to stay! Mehr

Great place to stay. While the hotel is modern, its location, convenience and staff professionalism made it a great choice. We moved to this hotel after an unfortunate couple of days at a historic hotel. Highly recommended.

Well situated in city centre beside a park. Very close to all public transport connections - buses, trams and metro. Staff plentiful, helpful and very friendly. Standard room spacious and tastfully appointed. Excellent service in breakfastroom which had choices to suit every taste. Would definitely stay here again.

I was looking forward to break away from the daily grind. a friend had recommended this hotel, as she'd stayed there before. the hotel is what i would consider a 4**** establishment. there is nothing special about it, no wow factor considering it's reputation. on the night we arrived, we ate in the restaurant. the restaurant was holding a bbq evening. […] it was average, with small portions, nothing special. we also had a glass of wine each & a bottle of mineral water. when i went to charge the bill to my room, the bill came to €85. The waiter also asked if service was alright & explained that there was no service charge included. i explained that i had only arrived & had not had a chance to change to local currency. he informed me that he would accept all currencies. this unfortunatley was the start to the weekend that was the norm among the hospitality in budapest. over rated over charged & by my last day i had had enough. would i recommend Budapest as a destination.... yes, but be warned you'll be ripped off with over charging & tipping. most places have a 10-15% service charge, but staff still ask how much tip you are giving them. I don't have anything positive to say about my say in Budapest & I have no plan to ever return after my experience. I have travelled most of europe & I can say hand on heart that this is the first time i have felt that i was ripped off. Sorry! Mehr

some of the staff were a bit snooty but I expected that for 5 star. some staff were wonder-full tho'. would not say that it is worth a lot of bucks, unless you can get a real deal as I did on hotels.com. location good. breakfast is 25 euro, you'd have to be crazy. I made up my own meals on occasion from all the little stores around the city, prices […] are marked in HUF, people there very friendly but no english onlly Hun. and you just checkout. "bums" in elizabeth square and "kids" on weekends was not so hot but I was never bothered. Mehr

We were very pleased with our stay at the Keminski Hotel in Budapest. Great location - 2 blocks from the river, and set on a large pedestrian thoroughfare with lots of shopping and restaurants. The rooms were nice, the bar was fun, and we would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and spacious, but we found the 5-star rating a little exaggerated. We noticed the following, which should never be observed in a true 5-star hotel: 1. The shower could not maintain constant water temperature. It changed from freezing to burning hot without warning. 2. When the staff was told about the problem, they assured us that […] someone will look into it, but nobody did. 3. The blankets provided were too short for a person taller than 5'8"... Our feet were sticking out. 4. We received a wake up call at 5 am, when none was ordered. No apologies were issued by the staff. Mehr

Excellent in every way: service, bed, furniture and supplies, decor, bathroom amenities, breakfast buffet, location. A bottle of bubbly was sent to our room, compliments of the hotel, on our anniversary. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest for 3 nights. The hotel exceeded my expectations and was absolutely beautiful. My room was spacious and luxurious. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to shopping, dining and the River Danube. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone that will be staying in Budapest.

Every facet of service and room comfort outstanding. A small and cold swimming pool my only reservation. The central location meant that restaurants in every direction a short walk, as well as a mere 10 minutes to the Opera, on top of the metro and tour buses, with excellent interconnections, and only a few hundred yards from the magnificent vistas […] afforded by the Danube.
