Das Hotel war sehr zentral gelegen, das Appartement war überaus großzügig mit Küche, Wohnbereich, Essbereich, Trockner und Waschmaschine. Zusätzlich ein geräumiges Schlafzimmer. Die Einrichtung war super und wir fühlten uns durch das HOtelpersonal sehr gut beraten, bzgl. Tips und Ratschläge in der Umgebung. Immer wieder gerne.

Excellent choice. The Season´s hotel is some of the best. Good parking, excellent location, and definitely, the best BED in the last hotels I stayed. Pillows are soft and full kitchen. Even believing the wash machine was a little old, they everything in the room. If you are not satisfied, talk to the reception desk and Scully will help you.

This was not my first choice of hotel as my original plans fell through. However, I was very pleased with my accommodation and the location. The only negatives were the key card was very temperemental and despite being on the 28th floor the traffic noise was surprisingly very noticeable but it did not keep me awake! Two minute walk to darling harbour, plenty of restuarants in easy distance and even a local pud across the road.

Excellent hotel in the city to stay at, we were close to everything and didn't have far to walk after getting off initially at Town Hall. One elevator was broken during our time there so it took a little while to get down from the lift. Other than that- room was clean and service was good.

Location is very good, the kitchen overall is very useful.

Family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment from the 6th - 12th December 2011. The central location was great, and our children loved the fact that their twin bedroom had a television, balcony with views and en-suite bathroom, however the double room didn't have any of these - it would be nicer for parents if the bedrooms were the other way round! Hotel very conveniently located. Handy to Town Hall Station and a quick walk to Darling Harbour. The Medina Grand was very dated and showed its age. The internet was free via the coffee shop in the foyer, but the hotel internet charge in the rooms was excessive. Staff very helpful.

Sydney NYE = very expensive. However we got a reasonable deal here and were upgraded to a suite on a higher floor with a good view of the city and darling harbour. It had a large kitchen, and big living area, though the twin bedroom was small. Overall the place is a little dated and the two lifts are a bit slow and inadequate given the number of floors […] - it was close to Town Hall station but as a tourist ideally I'd stay closer to Circular Quay next time - overall pretty good though. The apartments are roomy and well serviced. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Theposition is great for the city and Darling Harbour. The showers need to be upgraded. All together, a good choice for either a holiday group or business colleagues.

This is a great place to stay, unless you have to have reliable internet access. The location was wonderful, within walking distance to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Aquarium and shopping. The apartment was clean, well equiped and spacious. The major problem we experienced was the Wi-fi. After checking in, my daughter signed up for an internet plan […] which was supposed to support 2 devices. The signal was so weak that her computer was barely picking it up and the Ipad could not get on at all. Upon complaining, we were told that the side of the hotel where our room was located did not get a strong signal because of a concrete wall. The solution was to live with it, not get internet at all or move. We were not about to pack up and move and not having internet was not an option since my daughter needed it to do her schoolwork. Due to a miscommunication, our service was cancelled all together. When my daughter called she was basically told that it was not the hotel's problem, but the problem of the service provider and that was that. My daughter finally just said, "don't worry about it, we will just write a bad review on hotels.com". We left for the day and when we returned that evening we received a phone call telling us that they were bringing up a router which would solve the problem. By now, we were half way through our 6 day stay. We had to then sign up for a new internet plan, but at least it worked. I have to wonder if the problem would have ever been solved without the threat of a bad review. Bottom line is that this was a great place, but watch out if you need a reliable Wi-Fi signal. Mehr

Easily accessible from airport- One block from train that travelled from Airport. 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour and its beauty where we took ferries to the Opera House, The Rocks, etc. train took us to Bondi Beach in a very short time. Loads of restaurants at Darling Harbour. Grocery store is a short walk from hotel where we purchased foods for breakfasts, […] snacks, etc. Staff was very helpful at all times as were all Australian people. Rooms are large and clean, pool is great. Would stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was nice bathroom in our room was dirty, air con did not work staff were nice until you ask for something

We choose a Premier Studio Room. We stayed for 7 nights and were satisfied with our accommodation. It is worthwhile mentioning that the rooms are not huge (approx 4.5m x4.5m, excluding kitchenette and bathroom). The only seating are two dining chairs. A free daily newspaper is nice. The hotel is very close to Town Hall railway station, only a 3 minute […] walk and Darling Harbour. We had a balcony - it is not large enough to lounge on. The pool and the gym are well maintained and nice to have available. Mehr

I found the accomodations clean comfortable and quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. it is easy walking distance to Darlling Harbour and all the great restaurants there. That's good because I would not recommend the restaurant in the hotel.

Following the mixed reviews on the internet, I was a bit unsure about this hotel. It turned out to be great. Location is fantastic. We had a premier apartment which was very spacious, well fitted with a huge bow window (you can see them on the main pic of the hotel on the hotel description page) and a great view. The bedroom was quiet thanks to double […] windows. Only negatives: the kitchen is really badly equipped, don't expect to cook much (we had two tiny saucepans and a small frypan, couldn't have boiled pasta for two!), the couch wasn't spotless and the towels very clean but a bit tired. Staff was helpful. Would stay there again, just to get a spacious apartment for the price of a hotel room. Mehr

We spent 5 nights here and were very happy with the location. Certainly witin walking distance of all the sights. We had a studio apartment which was a little cramped, however, we would stay there again and next time book a one bedroom apartment which would then give us more space and somewhere to sit to watch TV or relax.

Close to everything in CBD. Clean and quiet but wifi expensive though.

Nice clean apartment. Good room service. Friendly staff. Very close to all major attractions with easy access to public transport. Would stay there again.

The hotel was in a fine location for Darling Harbour and shopping and all the main attractions as it was close to the Town Hall underground station.

We were given a room on the top floor, which some might think means the best, but not in this case. While the layout and size of the room was very comfortable, it was right next to the staff lounges. Staff would go up there to take breaks and you could hear them talking and laughing and shutting doors as they left one-by-one, usually between 11pm and […] midnight. Also, there was a very strange smell in the bathroom which would start getting into the general room if we left the bathroom door open. On the other hand, leaving the bathroom door closed meant the smell would just get more and more intense inside the bathroom. I'm not quite sure how to describe the smell, but it wasn't good. Something like bad microwave smells tinged with sewer. Otherwise, the room was comfy and the hotel is in a great location. If you get a good rate, it's still worth a stay. Mehr

This hotel is really good. the one bedroom apartment is very big and its great to have a full kitchen and full laundry facilities. The location is fantastic - within easy walking distance of everything. And the little cafe downstairs is lovely - great food and really nice staff. I'd definitely recommend staying there.

The location of the apartment-hotel was good. Walking distance to Darling Harbour and from there you can get anywhere with the ferries. Very simple very plain accommodation. The room was small and semi clean. Found some small pieces of branches between the bed sheets. The carpet was somewhat clean. We trow two towels on the floor in order to replace […] them - they picked them up and put them back on the rack, dirty as they were. Only the garbage got picked up while we were there. It felt the hotel is overpriced for the size and quality for the accommodation. Mehr

Had a very pleasant stay, staff were helpful. Location was good, easy access to things. Had two you children staying with us, the pool was an added bonus, although only small, was perfect for the children. The appartment was execellent very clean and was cleaned every day. Hotel is in an excellent location, easy access to town hall station and a nice walk to Darling Harbour. Was pleasantly surprised with the sink, microwave and toaster. I will definitely consider staying here again. Especially if its a long stay. The room was spacious with a nice comfy bed and a nice balcony. The shower wasn't very powerful but did […] the job. If you are after for location, this is the hotel for you. But if you are after for comfort bed and good room service/cleaning service than this is not for you. We stayed there during the weekend in November. We booked two studio apartments and a one- bedroom apartment. The studio apartment was booked for two nights . They were fine, except that the […] bed was not comfy at all and not tidy the following day regardless the cleaning service. Also the bathroom was not cleaned properly and the amenities was not re-stocked. The one bedroom apartment was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which were greatly appreciated. The apartment was booked for a night only. So did not have a chance to experience the cleaning service and amenities re-stocked. But I found that the toilets and the laundry room ( a two- bedroom apartment come with washing machine) were stink, toilet smell. I did compain about this smell to the reception during the check out process, and they promised to definitely let the cleaning service know. They did not apologies for that. It's ashamed that they did not maintain the hotel to highest point, since the location is superb. Mehr

Hotel was good. close to DH and QVB. staff was not very helpful.

A "studio apartment" at Medina Grand Central (rated 4.5 star) is basically the same as a standard room at Travelodge (3 star). In general, Medina is not bad but it is a bit overated.

Location was great. Very close to Town Hall Train Station and Darling Harbour. Hotel Service was below average. We had to specifically request that our sheets be changed and that our room be vacuumed as the maidservice was not regurlarly performing these duties. Also, very slow response (1hour) to requests for extra towels (one time we didn't receive […] them at all). Mehr

The hotel was in a great location, and close to all the major attractions. Within walking distance to the Harbour and with many shops close at hand including Convenience Stores. We would stay again. Two bedroom apartment was a good size for a family of four. Cleanliness was quite good, but there were areas that did require some imrovement. Extremely friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble! Excellent location and the rooms are very well kept.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Medina Grand Sydney. It was a change from the bigger hotels. The hotel and room itself was very comfortable and relaxing. Our room was a studio but the size of the room was perfect for my husband and I. It came complete with a kitchenette which we thought was awesome and very convenient. The location of the hotel itself […] was unbelievably close to many of the attractions in Sydney. We were able to walk to many of the main attractions. Some of the main areas that we walked to included the QVB, Darling Harbour area, Paddy's Market, Market City, and it's also about a 20 minute walk to Circular Quay where you can catch some of the ferries, see the Opera House, or the Sydney Harbour Bridge. If you're not in the walking mood the hotel is also very close to the monorail. There are many good restaurants in the area, a movie theater, and even a medical clinic in case you get sick --- which happened to me. The hotel staff members were polite and very helpful in recommending places to visit or restaurants to go to. We would definitely stay here again! Mehr
