This is an absolutely beautiful tudor style hotel with fire places, board games and a stunning garden area. We loved this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a hire car so it was easy to get around but if you want to stay in an area with shops and tourist info centers etc, this is possibly not the place for you. The dinner at the restaurant was also very nice and the restaurant was quite romantic. The only down point was there was not enough hot water for me to have a bath and my partner to have a shower - my bath was fine, but his cold shower following was not ;( Mehr

Not the first time staying at this Hotel. It continues to have very friendly and attentive staff. Well kept rooms and common hotel facilities. Breakfast is well presented with plenty of choice. Restaurant food is also very good and well worth it. The Hotel has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Well situated […] for those who also want a bit of adventure by taking up the local activities such as forest trekking and sight seeing. From the moment we arrived this made our trip in Malaysia a great one. The service, food, cleanliness, ambience and comfort was first class. Whether relaxing in front of the fire with a book, having a cream tea on the veranda, drinking cocktails in the bar or dining in the oak carved dining room,this was worth every penny. Some reviews knocked the noisy […] main road nearby. There is indeed a main road, however the the hotel has been recently double glazed so there are no noise problems. If you're looking for a unique and lovely place to stay, I'd recommend the Lake House. The rooms feature antique furniture and canopy beds. The dinning room offers excellent food. No televison, no piped-in music.

Great hotel, great staff. Simply a place to wind down and let the staff pamper you. Far from the towns but that's why it is quiet, peaceful and pleasant. Lovely breakfast

The mock tudor theme is overdone in the Cameron Highlands, but the Lakehouse handles it very well and far better than most. Located away from the major towns, the Lakehouse has a lovely view over the lake that is a brown colour due to the run-off from the soil. The setting is idyllic other than the proximity of the main road that, surprisingly, never […] bothered us, even when sitting out in the large garden. The staff were very friendly and, during the week, the hotel was not busy. The food was OK but not outstanding. The local towns provide far cheaper fare, but you definitely need a car here. The price of beer and wines is very high, but not untypical of a good hotel in Malaysia. Again, this is far cheaper in town, but then you would lose the 'English' atmosphere of the place and that really makes it special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the trip organised by the hotel was good value and enjoyable. I would return to the Lakehouse and recommend it as a relaxing and rather special retreat. Mehr

A beautiful hotel overlooking a lake near Ringlet. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We very much enjoyed the old-fashioned ambience and the pleasant staff. More could have been done to keep the fire burning nicely in the evening, especially as the evenings we were there were wet and rather chilly. The only other thing to be critical about was the food. The breakfast was very disappointing. A sad-looking buffet in a situation where […] there are only a few guests is not a good idea. The coffee was not freshly made, and one morning had to be sent back for being cold. The "grilled tomato' with the cooked eggs (themselves OK) was cold. No fresh juice. Strangely thin yogurt. The dinner was pleasant enough but rather expensive for what it was. There's a Chinese restaurant (nothing fancy, a lot of flies, but very nice food, much cheaper) at Habu Heights, ten minutes' walk away. Mehr

Fantastisk hotel, super god mad og eminent betjening. Spørg efter suiten ( som ikke er meget dyrere end de Luxe værelserne, men som er en oplevelse i sig selv. Kæmpe badeværelse og enormt opholdsrum med kæmpe pejs. Fantastisk
