Horrible, no tv worth turning on. Bathroom too small for 1 person!

Great location great food good service for a very reasonable price!

Had not stayed downtown for years. Hotel is decent and on site cafes good. Only negative was street noise from the "Fremont Street Experience" No brainer that huge sound system on the street would be heard from hotel rooms boardering the street. Hotel staff, desk, valet and bellman were very good. Will book here again.

The beds were comfortable however the comforter was non-exisistent; It was more of a thin blanket. The location is right smak in the downtown Fremont area which is convenient if you stay there. It was a $20 cab ride to the strip. There is no shuttle service, which I was told there was at the time of booking otherwise, I would have paid $40 more to stay […] on the strip. Bathroom is okay, nothing fancy. There is a small fridge and tv (tube) in the room. If you are not looking for affordable and somewhere to lay your head at night, this is probably your best bet off the strip. Mehr

I was surprised how friendly the cleaning staff on the floors were and even the other guests. Smiling people are a good asset to any Hotel.

The Fremont was exactly where and what I needed. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a pool there, but heck...I realized I wasn't there to hang out in the pool, but to experience what VEGAS had to offer. And the Fremont was centrally located for me.

the hotel is on the small side. if you just stay downtown and need a good deal . this is it everything small. but .. HEY you good what you paid for.. I'm happy. for the 2-nights

Not very fancy but excellent for the price

The Freemont, old and quaint. This is a clean lay your head place, enjoyable and in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.

Hotel was good enough for anyone that wants a place to sleep, eat and gamble close to the old centre. Room has all that you are looking for, but the rooms that are close to the Freemont experience are very noisy, as may be expected. No sleeping before midnight, if that is what you want in Las Vegas. In short: nothing wrong with this hotel.

Like stepping back in time, the Fremont had loads history, and if you go in expecting nothing fancy but a clean comfortable room in a great downtown location, you will really enjoy the Fremont. I had visited downtown but never stayed here. I was always on ther Strip. You should try downtown, I really enjoyed the laid back slower pace during the day […] and the amped up activity of the Fremont Experience at night. Lots of fun for a lot less money. Mehr

Hotel was clean, but smoky. Toni Romas restaurant was adequate, service ok, food average. Casino was clean and on par with other hotel gaming areas. Breakfast was very good in Paradise room. Rate it above average for DTN Las Vegas.

I enjoy Fremont Street and the Fremont is located perfectly to maximize this experience. My hotel was not very noisy considering its location. My only complaints is the lack of a pool and the inability to park on my own. This limited the ease that i could have access to my car.

The non smoking room was filled with smoke smell with no ventilation available. At night the traffic noise woke me several times (mostly sirens & motor cycles). The bed was uncomfortable. There was no internet connection.

The front desk was extremely professional and the room was very comfortable. I would definitely book my room at The Freemont Hotel again.

A very enjoyable stay. Table in room was small. No refrigerator or coffee maker, but apparently this is true of all Las Vegas Hotels. I would absolutely recommend this Hotel. Very central to the Freemont Street Experience, which was awesome as well. No need to leave the block.

We went to the Freemont because we wanted to have the experience of "old" Las Vegas", and wanted a reasonable place to stay price-wise. The casino and hotel have been updated, and were very nice, although the room was a little small. I was impressed with the housekeeping both in the rooms and in the casino. No blackout curtains and room was very hot. We actually switched hotels mid trip because this one was so uncomfortable. Go elsewhere!

First, I would like to say that the room is great for the price we paid. We didn't plan on staying in the room very much, so we weren't too disappointed. Great location if you like to do Freemont Experience, but best for late afternoon evening. The room was small, the TV was very old and the AC was ancient, but it all worked. The bed was comfy and rooms […] have been updated/remodeled. The staff was really nice, including checkin, valet and housekeeping. So, I would recommend if you like old Vegas. Ok stay for price but old hotel that needs more updating: no flat screen, no coffee maker, fridge, or microwave. Too far from main strip with no shuttle service.

My recent stay at the Fremont for one night definitely exceeded my expectations. When I think of the Downtown Vegas hotels compared to the Strip I normally think of older worn out rooms. We generally stay at two other popular properties downtown. We were very pleasantly surprised at the many and varied eateries at the Fremont: from short order to high end and even a donut shop in between; I shouldn't forget to mention the Buffet. The casino itself is quite smokey, dark and congested but since Im not a gambler that's ok. the hotel was great. my room was awesome. unfortunately the room had a joining room attached to it. the people conversations was very clear. other than that the room and it's location was awesome. i never heard the music from the fremont experience at all. restaurants was great. margiritas only a dollar. can't beat it. miad service was on point.

Enjoyed the stay there; the surroundings are very convenient: Walgreens, shops, vendors, bus/transportation to the main strip ($7 all day pass). Personally: perfect venue for local Hawaiians from Hawaii and here in the Mainland; very friendly atmosphere; security are personable and take time to talk; one security asked if he could take the picture of […] the whole family where the wife was taking the picture; restaurants ok too - don't have to eat a the buffet all the time; wide range of ages from young families with children to middle aged to senior citizens trying to be as independent as they can; very hospitable; and valet service to park car is included. My wife and 3 kids stayed here on June 25th for one night. I wanted a good value hotel since we were merely using it for a place to sleep and shower. We were on a two week adventure of the west and could not have been more pleased. Upon arrival the front desk gentlemen realized I needed more space in my room since I had my wife and three kids. I initially […] booked the room for myself and two kids but forgot to add my wife and 3rd child since they elected to accompany me and my other two children. I also am in a manual wheel chair and required a handicap accesible room. The Fremont upgraded me to the suite which had two king beds and a somewhat handicap acesible room. Somewhat because the door was too narrow to get my chair through but since my life is full of obstacles anyway, I was able to make the bath work. Overall our experience from the valet parking to the large comfy room was very accommodating. My wife and I have been to Vegas several times (no kids) and always stay on the strip. We have been to Fremont Street and have always enjoyed it. I will definitely consider staying at the Fremont next time my wife and I visit Vegas. Mehr

I have always stayed at the Rio but this time I needed something cheap and well this trip was for fun and low budget and this hotel was well worth it.

it was my first time in along time since i've been to vegas. I was there for 3 days for EDC.i thought it would be a smart idea to stay at a cheaper hotel but now i know it wasn't. The images online made it look pretty but when i got there it wasn't so. i went with 10 tens friends and they paid a bit more and stayed at the palazzo and the treasure island […] which what i should have done. I ended up paying more travelling back and forth from the strip and downtown. i dont think i will be staying there again. Mehr

This was a pretty nice hotel considering the low price. It was very convenient to be located right on the Freemont street experience. Plenty of nice buffets around. Cheap gambling video machines. The room was somewhat small, but comfortable. The staff were very polite. The hotel has a free Valet service which was new to me, but very nice. Weekday rooms good value for business and access directly to Fremont Street. Older hotel but new updated bed and furniture.

The hotel did not have any non-smoking rooms available at check-in although we booked non-smoking on hotels.com. Despite this, the room did not overly smell of cigarettes, and the hotel staff was very friendly.He also gave us a room with a good view to make up for the inconvenience. After reading some of the reviews, it is obvious you cannot please a lot of people. Apparently, many are born with a silver spoon. I like nice things just like everyone else, but as it has been pointed out, you DO NOT spend a great deal of time in your room. Being located on Fremont Street, it is in a great location. My room was very clean, neat and I requested when I checked in to be away from the Fremont Street Experience. Never heard a thing when I went to bed at night. I had a comfortable bed with pillows. I really have no complaints. I was on the 6th floor and I had a great time. Check-out was easy as well as check-in. Yes, the bathroom is small, but with one person in the room, that wasn't a problem. One thing I did notice this time in Las Vegas, was the number of children in strollers and pre-teens in the casinos with their parents. Many of the pre-teens were running around Fremont Street. I would not bring toddlers or pre-teens to Las Vegas, but that is just me. I met family members downtown and we had a wonderful time. I went to their room at a competing hotel and I can tell you, the Fremont was heads above their hotel. If you don't expect a maid and butler every time you snap your fingers and you are capable of doing many things on your own, then stay at the Fremont. It is a good deal. Mehr
