Inn on the Alameda - Santa Fé

Very pleasant hotel, Southwestern architecture and very friendly and accommodating employees. Over the years, I have stayed in various hotels in Santa Fe and this one is one of the best in my experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

We were driving to Denver from Phoenix and stayed the night at Inn on the Alameda. We've been to Santa Fe before but never stayed there. We really enjoyed our brief stay. The Inn on the Alameda is perfectly located between the Plaza and Canyon Road. Very easy walk to both venues. The staff was able to meet all of our needs and the room was very clean and comforable. We will stay at the "Inn" again without question.

This was my second visit to the inn on the Alameda and i love the hotel. Everuything is so clean and well kept. i like that the most. the breakfast is great, the service is great and all in all is perfect. Should I come to Santa fe again i will be sure and stay there again.

Best breakfast anywhere --- free or paid. Included numerous vegan and gluten free items. Nice wine and cheese offering in the evening as well. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Location is everything. The Inn On The Alameda is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, parks, museums, churches and art galleries. My friend and I stayed here for 3 days and 3 nights. I would recommend this Inn to anyone wanting to really feel the ambience and still have the conveniece and accessibilty to everything Santa Fe. I give it a 5 STAR rating. The breakfast is fresh and delicious with a good variety for everyone. They have a wonderful Wine and cheese tasting hour and always […] had plenty to go around to all the guests. Our room was very nice and the Inn is close and withing walking distance to almost anything you would want to see or do. The employees are friendly and helpful and aim to please. Our stay at the Inn on the Alameda was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. The wine and cheese hour in the afternoon was great after a day of site seeing. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Inn is cozy and charming. Our check in however left al lot to be desired. We arrived around 5pm and were barely greeted by Darryl working the front desk. He didn't welcome us or engage us in any way. Once he handed us our keys, I had to ask if someone could help us with our luggage. Other than directions to our room, he didn't give us any info. […] We didn't know where breakfast was served or the hot tubs were located. (My friend was checked in by another staffer and I learned these details from her.) Immediately, we were put off. We didn't feel comfortable and thought we had made a bad decision. We never knew there was a free shuttle stop right out the fornt door. We learned this on our own the day before we departed. We also found out too late that the museums are free on Friday after a certain time. These are all things that would have enhanced our trip On the up side, the Inn is very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese staff were excellent. The menu items were delicious. and varied. As the week went on, other front desk staff proved friendly and helpful. In the end, we enjoyed The Inn on the Alameda and would recommend it for value and quality accommodations. Mehr

Quaint, private, great variety and quality of food for the complimentary breakfast and wonderful wine and cheese in the afternoons!! Walking distance to the downtown area. Nice staff. We will definitely stay at the Inn if we are ever in the area again!

My husband and I love this place! The staff is wonderful, it's clean, and it has all of the amenities we could ask for. It's within walking distance to town, has a full breakfast bar, complimentary happy hour every day from 4 to 5 p.m. and a gym to boot. Gail B.

We had stayed at the Inn on the Alameda once before and were not disappointed this second time at all. The room was comfortable and clean with very nice Santa Fe and southwest decorations and touches. The breakfasts were outstanding. The fire in the great room warmed us as we read and relaxed with coffee in the mornings. The room was a standard sized hotel room and the king bed was very comfortable. It was necessary to unplug the lamp or the TV to plug in the laptop in the room at the desk provided. This hotel is quaint providing the service and amenities of a bed and breakfast, combined with the privacy of a hotel. The service is outstanding. The location was perfect for walking around Santa Fe and since parking in town is difficul, we appreciated the inn's parking. Close to the plaza ansd even closer to Canyon Road. My boyfriend smokes cigars and having a park across the street with picnic tables was perfect for his evening fix. We were upgraded to a balcony room and used it much more than […] we thought. My only criticism---the rooms get very warm at night even after turning off the thermostat, so we would crack the door--since in the 30's then it would be a bit cold. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious-great start to the day and the kiva fireplaces were lit in the mornings so it was cozy. All the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Recommended by a friend who, years ago, had rented out the entire inn for her wedding guests. Excellent location. Park your car and leave it. Walkk to the plaza and right next to the galleries along canyon road.

In the sweet spot between a beautifully appointed B&B and an upscale hotel, the Inn on the Alameda had me at Hello. The dining area and lobby were lovely, as was my room with its charming balcony. Hotel bedspreads can be questionable---here, they were lovely, simple, clean cotton that blended beautifully with the "rustic luxe" decor. I am uber-finicky […] about bathroom cleanliness (so many hotels overlook the grout!), but this one passed the test with flying colors. Spotless and prettily turned out. My partner is still using the Sprout soap and shampoo, "because it smells like our vacation." Breakfast was lavish...everything was delicious, and there was something for every taste and dietary inclination. Ditto late afternoon tea time. The location was great--we left our car in the Inn's parking lot and walked everywhere. I appreciated the security and use of a card-key to enter the hall to our room--it just seems smart in any city, even one as small and charming as Santa Fe. We will be back! Mehr

lacks some creature comforts ie; Room amenities no microwaves. We were on the third floor and had a rooftop patio without a view except of dead plants in a planterbox. Otherwise overall view of Hotel is favorable...

Stayed with my partner, sister, and niece and intend to return for a longer stay for just the two of us. The Inn is beautifully furnished and maintained, with lovely spaces for relaxing inside and out. The Inn is beautiful and the room was beautifully decorated in Southwestern decor. The location, near the central Plaza, was convenient for walking to shops and restaurants.
