Hotel Prinsenhof - Brügge

Ein tolles Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Wir bekamen sehr gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants am Abend, die für uns ohne Probleme reserviert wurden. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

My wife an I had just a weekend in Brugge and wanted to be close to the center of things. This hotel was well located and the staff was knowledgable about the town and local restaurants. Our room was very comforatble. The two drawbacks were the lobby is small and the breakfasts were priced at 20 Euro pp, which we thought was high.

This was a really lovely hotel. Because it has only about 19 bedrooms the service was much more personal. We had a beautiful room, I think it was one of the newer ones. The hotel staff were all lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. It was in a very convenient situation, handy for everything.

The hotel is almost more like a bed and breakfast in the US, than a hotel - it has that "charming" appeal. The staff are incredibly helpful. They go out of their way to make the place a pleasant stay and always have a smile on their face - it seems like they really enjoy their job and want to make sure you're enjoying your stay. From the moment the cab dropped us off to the moment another one picked us up, Prinsenhof impressed us. Their staff is friendly, helpful, personable. The room was clean and very homey. Hotel Prinsenhof is a small family run hotel, located in the very center of Brugge. The staff was friendly and service minded. Our "Deluxe" room was reasonable big and located in a quiet area. The room was well furnished in a classical/traditional floral style. Somewhat old fashioned and dated, though. Well maintained but showing its age (faded colours, […] no heating in the bathroom floor, etc). The real problem here are the beds. They are hard as stone, and there are no (soft) top madrass eighter. The night was terrible, we didn't sleep at all. Upon check-out next morning, the owner told us that all the madrasses were equal in all rooms and they didn't understand our complaint. For this reason we cannot recommend this hotel to others. Mehr

This was our first visit to this lovely quiet hotel. The room we booked was perfect and fitted our requirements. The breakfasts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were calmly efficient and ensured our stay was a memorable one

What a beautiful hotel; excellent location; wonderful staff; and impeccable service. The quiet street on which the hotel is situated makes it a perfect place for one to relax in, and have a peaceful night's sleep. I cannot find anything to say that would be negative about the Prinsenhof, and the wonderful time we had there.

Just a couple of blocks from the Markt, in the center of town. Easy walking distance to all main attractions...No hills. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Heated towel racks. Very attentive reception desk, complete with a cute little dog. Restaurants, shops close by...Bus to train station just around the corner...couldn't be better. We chose not to have the […] breakfast there as we thought it a bit pricey...other places for breakfast close by. Mehr

We had a great time staying at the Hotel Prinsenhof. The staff were very accomodating, friendly and efficient. This is one of the nicest hotels I ever stayed in, no wonder it's on tripadvisor's top 25 hotels. The hotel was impecably clean.

Comfortable old-style European hotel w updated bathroom. Room decor could have been fresher but hotel very nice and convenient

If you want a classic European, small boutique hotel, I would highly recommend the Hotel Prinsenhof. Nothing "Holiday Inn" about this place! Great service, very quaint, wonderful rooms. Very close to the main square, but on an out-of-the-way ally. Quiet location. Some construction going on outside but not a problem.

Centrally located and well appointed; beautiful public rooms and thoughtful touches (like free wifi); comfortable rooms and jacuzzi bath; all these are such that the hotel deserves 5*s. However, I 'live' in hotels and can be very critical of poor service. This hotel has some of the best staff I have experienced, eclipsing the fabulous practical aspects […] completely! This was a great extra we didn't expect. Did the Segue tour the next day and felt we experienced the City ...a jewel of a place.

The Prinsenhof is a well-run hotel in a quiet street very close to all the important sights of Bruges. The main house has an annex next to a parking garage (not too pretty) and we stayed there. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast is expensive, so we did not eat in the hotel. The Hotel Prinsenhof was not my first choice when booking our trip to Bruges, however, I decided to book it based on strong recomendations on TripAdvisor. The hotel definitely exceeded our expecations. Great, friendly service, nice room with a surprising amount of room considering that we did not book one of the more expensive rooms, new flat screen […] tv, a large modern bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a separate glassed in shower. Although it's on a quiet little street, it's only a five minute walk to the Markt central square and other parts of town. We walked everywhere from the hotel only needing a cab for ride to and from train station. Mehr

The hotel Prinsenhof is situated on a quiet side street very near to all the tourist sights of Bruges. It is also very convenient for shops and restaurants. It is a smallish, family run hotel and it is clear that customer satisfaction is their prime objective. Our room was small (No. 37) and there is too much furniture in it for its size but the bed […] (King size) is comfortable and the bathroom first class. Breakfast is expensive at 18.2 Euros each but the quality of the food and the chioce is worth the cost. We enjoyed our trip to Bruges very much and would certainly stay at the hotel Prinsenhof if we return there. Mehr

If you're looking for a lovely, welcoming, quiet, clean, and totally efficient hotel in the heart of Bruges, you don't need to look any further than the Hotel Prinsenhof. My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights and could have easily stayed a week. One of the things we liked best was how quiet it was, especially when you consider how close it is to everything. […] Hotels in the center of many European cities (well, any city really) can be very noisy, but this little gem was so quiet you simply never heard anything outside. Perhaps the most outstanding feature, though, was the service ... everyone was just so nice. If we ever head back to Bruges, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Mehr

I did not get the breakfast option, but I would recommend it. The Princehof breakfast was excellent, (we took advantage one day) and the price is not much higher than if you go down to the market.

Everything was marvelous, including the fact that you could actually spend time in the bathroom - it was a great size and design. Movie rentals at desk were a nice touch when you were tired from sightseeing and needed a quiet hour or two in the room at night. Beautiful, beautiful hotel and professional, friendly staff.

A gorgeous, luxurious room. Didn't use any other facilities in the hotel except for great advice from the reception staff. Breakfast a 'bit' pricey (18Euros each) if you don't eat a huge breakfast. Estadia por uma noite com meu marido para conhecermos Brugge, Bégica, e saímos com o desejo de ficar mais, para desfrutarmos da simplicidade , elegância e aconchego do Hotel. Accueil charmant, chambre très vaste et confortable (catégorie chambre luxe), petit déjeuner copieux et excellent, grand calme à seulement 150 mètres d'une des rues les plus commerçantes de Bruges, parking et service de voiturier très pratique... Bref que des bons points et de bons souvenirs de cet hôtel que nous recommandons chaudement. Très bien situé. Personnel très accueillant. Petit parking payant très pratique dans ce quartier. La décoration de la chambre est un peu vieillotte à mon goût.

O hotel além de ser muito bom fisicamente, tem uma equipe MUITO bem preparada para nos receber, tem um excelente café da manhã e está próximo ao centro, só andei a pé e foi muito bom!!!
