Very nice and convenient place to stay while in Cairns. Concerge was very helpful. Would be even nicer if they provided transportation to and from the airport.

We stayed in Cairns for 4 nights at the end of a month long stay around Australia. We stayed in similar standard of hotel all the way round and the Rydges Tradewinds was by far one of the best. Our room was located on the 6th floor. It was a very large room with an amazing view right out over the pool and then the ocean. The bed was massive and amazingly […] comfortable. All staff were very friendly especially all on reception. We had room service a couple of times and the food was very good. We also ate in the restaurant for breakfast - very good and probably the cheapest breakfast we had the whole time in Oz! While lounging by the pool on our last day we even had some cocktails and lunch - very nice although I wouldn't recommend the Thai Beef Salad (just a little too watery for my liking!) Rydges Tradewinds was wonderrful place to stay. They were above and beyond any expectations, their service was wonderful and would recommend them to anyone.

We chose this hotel after reading several positive reviews on this website, but we were very disappointed in our stay. We were on the 4th floor and the entire hallway smelled like mold and the ceilings had mold throughout. Our room was not much better, the carpets were dirty and looked at least 10 years old. We got a room with two "double" beds, but […] my wife and I could barely fit in one of them. The comforters were equally old and worn, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the sheets were extremely cheap. We heard that they were renovating the hotel, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until it is thoroughly rennovated. Mehr

Hotel is in a great location to the City Center, also far enough if you want to have some quite time. Hotel needs updating and. We did not eat meals at the Hotel as there are lots of retaurants nearby. Room rates could be better or at least includes the breafast on the present rates.

beautiful hotel close to all outdoor swimming poll both on grounds and also on esplanade with free barbecue close to board for great barrier reef.Night market only 5 min walk near shopping and restaurants

There is a good view over the water and up the esplanade. The Hotel has been well maintained but a little more effort from the painter not to brush adjoining surfaces like kick boards etc, would make the renovations look much better. As is common, the bed was two beds joined together. One side was comfortable the other side should be thrown out. We […] ate in the restaurant twice. Good service the first time, terrible the second. The hotel is on the end of the main strip of the Esplanade which was perfect for us. Nice and quiet but still centrally located. The restaurant ("Sea Level") was excellent and much less expensive that other restaurants on the strip. The pool was clean and beautifully kept with a lovely fountain. Excellent location (right behing all of the restaurants and shopping spots. Older Hotel with very Large and spacious rooms, but, this should really be advertyised as an apartment as there was no housekeeping service, and we were required to take out our own trash. Nice hotel right on the boardwalk next to the ocean. No swimming in the ocean though. The "beach" is like a muddy swamp durning low tide all around cairns, plus you have the stingers and crocadiles. beach towels are a pretty cheap one time payment and you can trade them in during your stay. Food everywhere in Aus. is expensive, the hotel restaurant […] is no different. Nice pool area. rooms are nice and big, good views of the ocean and mountains. we stayed there on our honeymoon and were satisfied. short walk to hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, and pier where all the reef boats leave from. We stayed in the hotel 2 nights and found it really good. Even though we arrived early, we were offered a room; the hotel is about 5 min walk from the main street of Cairns, which is not far at all. Ocean View rooms actually face the ocean, which is really nice. There is a nice restaurant downstairs and their own travel agency down at the lobby - they […] can book all your reef tours right there. The usual safe and minibar in the room, staff is very friendly. I would easily recommend this hotel. Mehr

Comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping services were good. Breakfast at Latitude 137 was very good. limited TV facilities - no set top box or DVD player. Ambience pleasant and close to restaurants etc.

This was a great place to stay for a much needed rest-location was excellent right on the Esplanade. Step outside and you're on the boardwalk and can easily walk to all Cairns has to offer-Marina, Lagoon, numerous eating places. The tour desk staff were very friendly and helful with bookings, and pick up from hotel was nice way to go. A nice hotel with comfortably appointed rooms. The pool is good, and the bar/restaurant reasonable, although the menu is limited. A second restaurant is closed, we never learned why. Room service basically OK, but providing cutlery without a specific request would have made it better!

Ok hotel, but internet connection is really spotty and expensive. That's quite inexcusable in this age.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The concierge with travel services was very helpful and informative. Great location for going to the rainforest and the reef. There was a charge for using the inroom safe. Very good and inexpensive restaurant in the bar.

滿足所有基本需求,如果有kitchery 就更好了

酒店房间设施太过陈旧，不符合四星级酒店标准。

此酒店雖然距離"商店街"有一段距離(約十五分鐘)，但位置也算容易可找到。此外，酒店服務員的態度不錯。房間亦算舒適兼能可以面向海。確實不錯的酒店。如有機會再到此一遊，也會再次入住。

交換されたりされなかったりでした。毎日きちんと交換して欲しかった。

The location of the hotel is good as it is just within 10 minutes of walk to the town centre and our room has a sea view. However, you must be prepared for the insects problem as you can always find the ants around your bed and anywhere in your room. Moreover, we encounterd a electrical problem in our bathroom. All the lights went off in a sudden […] whenever we used the bathroom for taking shower (and it returned to normal after about 5 minutes). The problem kept happening throughout the period we stayed but the help desk rendered no assistance to us. The staff only suggested us to bring the lamp (by ourselves) near the bed into the bathroom when we had to use it. What a wonderful experience that I could not help sharing with you all! Mehr

ホテルの外観はやや老朽化している感じがしました。(潮のせい？他のホテルもそうでしたので・・・)部屋の中も、ファンの揺れとか大丈夫かな？とも思いましたが、滞在にあたってとくに問題はなかったです。メインの通りまで２ブロックですが、やはりオーストラリアンなので１ブロックが長いですね。私には問題なかったですが、家族連れの方や歩くのがあまり好きでない方にはつらいかもしれません。ただそのおかげで夜は静かでしたのでぐっすり寝ることができました。

唯一的一个缺点，网络不是免费的，像这样级别的酒店，网络应该都是免费的了

因为我预定的是Seaview，所以景观超美，价格合理，酒店游泳池也很nice，距离海边的美食街很近，感觉非常好！！！

전반적으로 괜찮았던 호텔 직원도 친절했고 케언즈의 다양한 투어를 이용하기에도 좋았습니다. 객실은 깨끗한 편이었으나 다만 침구가 깨끗한지 조금 의심이 됩니다. 침대시트와 시트위에 홑겹의 천은 청결해 보였지만홑겹위의 이불이 청결하지 않은듯하여 조심스럽게 이용하여야 했습니다.

I found it a very nice and well kept hotel. The room and main areas were open and light. The pool area had a good amount of spaces and areas to tan by as well as being easy to access. The restaurant had a broad variety of tasty dishes, which you also had access to in the room. エスプラネードの端にあり町の中心部まではちょっと離れていました。でもエスプラネードを歩くとさほど気になりませんでした。ケアンズリーフフリート ターミナルやケアンズ駅も徒歩で行きました。 部屋はとても清潔で過しやすかったです。 レストランも２ヶ所あり美味しかったですよ。 朝食を予約していなかったんですがとても親切に応対していただきました。街中から離れている分静かでとてもよかったです。

Tradewinds is 5min walk from the lagoon, McDonalds and shops right on the Esplanade by sea. Most of the rooms (all?) have balcony and view to sea. Room (3rd floor seaview) was large, bathroom had bathtub and balcony was big. Cannot find anything to complain about the room. Corridors had little bit smell of mould, but otherwise whole hotel was in good […] shape. Laundry was on the same corridor that was super handy. Internet was available only in the lobby. Either buying access to hotspot or buying time on the PCs at the lobby. Only open Wifi that I was able to find was in (and around) McDonalds. Mehr

Glimrende hotel i kategorien. God beliggenhed lige ned til Esplanaden, og i gå afstand fra centrum. Særdeles god betjening af alt hotelpersonalet

Super hotel, blot lidt overrasket, så dyrt det var at bruge internettet, på et ikke helt billigt hotel. Ellers et pragtfuldt ophold.

Ett riktigt bra hotell som har ett alldeles utmärkt läge i Cairns. Hotellet har en mycket fin utomhuspool som var ren och proffsigt skött. Rummen var av mycket god kvalitet och personalen i receptionen var mycket hjälpsam. Hotellet hade dessutom en annan stor förtjänst nämligen en bemannad informationsdisk där personalen var alldeles fantastiskt kunnig […] och serviceminded. Vilken fin service. Detta är ett hotell som jag varmt vill rekommendera. Mehr
