Super Hotel für einen Trip nach Dublin. War zum 2. mal dort und würde wieder hingehen.

Sehr freundliches, zentral gelegenes Hotel! Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Dublins sind bestens zu Fuß zu erreichen. Super Frühstück und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Einziger Nachteil: Die Fenster sind schon etwas älter und halten den Straßenlärm, der sich jedoch in Grenzen hält, nicht wirklich ab.

Brooks Hotel würden wir immer wieder buchen.Tolle Lage nähen Stehans Green und Grafton Street. Sehr gut auch die Nähe zu Gaiety Theater,ein tolles Theater. Haben im Hotel nicht gefrühstückt,man hat viele Möglichkeiten in der Nähe gut und günstig zu frühstücken. Taxi Preis vom Flughafen -Hotel 23-27 EURO. Ebenfalls viele Möglichkeiten in Umgebung zum […] Essen. Nicht ganz billig, aber wir fanden es sehr gut. Sehr zentral gelegenes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal. Nur 2 Querstraßen zur Graftenstreet, fast alle Dublin-Highlights im Umkreis von 15 Min. zu fuß erreichbar, trotzdem relativ ruhig. Wir (3 Paare) fanden es toll und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir, dass nachmittags immer ein "Betthupferl" auf´s Bett gelegt w […] urde! Mehr

sehr gutes Haus mit schönen Zimmern, freundliches Personal, beste Lage. In Gehweite befinden sich die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Dublins, die Hauptshoppingmeilen und eine Menge charmanter Pubs. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr ruhig gelegen und durchaus empfehlenswert!

sehr gutes hotel mit super lage im zentrum. shopping und sight seeing in nächster nähe zu fuss erreichbar (5min) allerdings hatten wir "fensterblick nach hinten raus", was nicht so toll war, aber wer verbringt schon viel zeit im zimmer bei so einer stadt?

+ sehr zentrale Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar + Trotz Nähe zu diversen Pubs relativ ruhig (unser Zimmer war zur Straße, im obersten Stock) + Internet kostenlos nutzbar + Supermarkt in 3 Minuten erreichbar + Busse und Bahnen (DART und LUAS) fußläufig erreichbar - sehr kleines Zimmer - Mitarbeiter könnten freundlicher sein

We stayed here for St. Patrick's weekend and were so glad we did. Besides being in the heart of Dublin within walking distance to Grafton Street, Temple Bar, Trinity College, St. Patrick's and Christ Church Catherdals, the staff is awesome. Conor is a superb concierge/bellman. He was so helpful as was, Jane, in providing directions and advice. They […] remembered our names and were sincerely interested in us and in making sure we had a great time. Paul, one of the bartenders, was also extremely attentive and nice to talk to. The hotel itself is lovely, situated in a perfect location to downtown Dublin. My hotel bathroom's pipes groaned constantly, however. I sounded like someone scooting a chair across the room, every 5-10 seconds. It was quieter when I closed the bathroom door but was a surprising maintenance issue in such a nice hotel. We very much liked the location--lots of interesting shops and restaurants nearby, also very close to the main attractions. My adult son and I stayed here for 2 nights. The Hotel room was excellent. Clean and had all that was needed. Hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The location is within walking distance of Grafton Street as well as Temple Bar. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to my friends.

Hotel is in good location for discovering Dublin while being way from the noisier areas. It's decor is in good condition but not overly modern - providing a cosier 'family run hotel' feel. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are well appointed proving a comfortable environment to relax between exploring. Would definitely stay again.

We rented a deluxe king room for 6 nights. The bed was larger than our king-sized bed at home and very comfortable. The daily maid service was excellent. There is a beautiful resident's lounge below the main floor that has computer access. The concierge, Conner, was very kind and helpful. We were very pleased with our short stay at The Brooks. We had a TV that wasn't working and the staff quickly brought us another. The door to the bathroom didn't have a doorstop and didn't stay open, but that's a minor quibble. Brooks hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, we were there for three nights and I'm certain that the sheets were changed every day along with the towels. The bed that we had was really comfortable and we had no difficulty getting off to sleep. The staff were very helpful and their recommendation for dinner on our first night was spot on, we had […] one of the best meals that we've ever had. The hotel is central and although we'd bought bus passes, we found that actually everywhere was pretty easy to walk to. Although we did not dine in the hotel, there seemed to be plenty of others taking advantage of the restaurant and bar. Staff are extremely friendly and helpfull. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned to a good standard. Could benefit from new flat screen tv's in the basic rooms but I'm sure that will come in time. Just the right distance from Temple Bar to get a good nights sleep. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely go back to the Brooks hotel.

The hotel is somewhat difficult to find at first but being situated in a street with very little traffic it was reasonably quiet for the location in Temple Bar. I paid in full my room in advance through Expedia back in March 2012. My stay was in September 2012. My credit card statement for September show another charge for the 3 night stay. normally, all we need is a comfortable bed and clean surroundings. this hotel went above and beyond that. the bed is super comfy, and there's a pillow menu (which we didn't bother using because our pillows were already perfect). the showers have adjustable pressure settings- probably the best we've experienced and we've been to MANY hotels! their staff- […] professional and helpful. after checking out, while at the airport, we realized we forgot our ipad in our room- called them and they already had it in their possession ready to ship to us. the location was perfect for us- it was our first time in Ireland, and the hotel is walking distance to everything. it's surrounded by shops, indoor malls and a 2 minute walk to a supermarket. their morning breakfast is filling, and the only other time we ate at the restaurant was for dessert- but it seriously had the most delicious ice cream (a little steep @ 6 euro but worth it). sidenote: go to the Hairy Lemon down the street- it became our favorite bar. The Brooks Hotel is an older hotel. We spent two nights there after completing a week tour of Ireland. The hotel was located close to many Dublin attractions including Grafton Street, and Temple Bar. The hotel itself was on what I'd call a back street. The staff was quite competent on check in, and handled our request to store our luggage (since we […] arrived early). Upon return our room was ready and our luggage was already in place in the room. The room itself was nicely decorated, but quite small. Two large suitcases took up the bulk of the free space in the room. The bathroom was also very small. The king size bed was fairly comfortable but, a bit on the soft side. We had a terrific two nights stay during Ireland's football tournament between county Mayo and county Galaway. Very charming boutique hotel in the heart of Dublin, which is a lovely city.

Fine stay at this hotel. Could walk to many things especially Trinity College & the Book Kells & Temple Bar area. Cold continental breakfast was a bit pricey, but convenient. Not far from Hop On/Hop Off bus stop for other siteseeing.
