Park Vue Inn - Anaheim

Cannot be closer to disneyland without staying at their resort. only had 3 problems with this hotel. 1) walls are very thin and you could hear the rooms next to you and i was on the second floor and when the children ran on the walkway you could hear them running 3 doors down. 2) our smoke alarm was malfunctioning and had to take the battery out to […] stop it from beeping so we could sleep. 3) one of the mornings they ran out of food very early for the morning breakfast and we had to go to ihop and spend more money. Very friendly staff and they do what they can to make sure your stay can be the best that it can. i'd stay here again because we only spent our time in the hotel when we weren't at the park. Mehr

If you want a room that you can walk to at midnight when you are super tired this is it. The room was clean, but seemed to run out of hot water very fast. The rooms are joined by a door so you can hear everything the other guest are saying. The breakfast was ok if you like cold and microwaved eggs. They offer a pre dinner. This was a great choice of hotel for us. We visited Disneyland and it is steps away from the entrance. When we got tired during the day at Disneyland we walked across the road to the hotel for a quick rest, swim in the pool and then back to Disneyland for more hours of fun! The hotel staff are amazing. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of fruit, […] wine and water. Breakfast is great, all that you need to start your day - fruit, cereal, pancakes, toast, waffles and each day the hot choice changed biscuits/gravy, eggs, sausages etc. Rooms were clean, fresh and beds very comfortable. An add bonus was the free nightly Supper. Perfect for a quick bite to eat, after a swim and returning back to Disneyland. The supper changes daily, an example one night was mac/cheese, chicken burgers, salad and soup. Fantastic for kids!! Pleased with room. Had two queen beds. Very clean. Plenty of room for us and bags. Location is great right across the street from Main Entrance. Breakfast and Supper included. Breakfast could have been a little better, but had hot and cold choices. Dinner was not fancy but rather kid-friendly. The location is superb. Your staff is awesome; they seemed genuinely pleased to comply with all of our requests. The breakfast was great, the area very kid friendly. We were surprised by all of the special touches - punch and cookies in reception, a gift for my grandson in the room we stayed. Great value for the money. Front desk very helpful and nice. I will stay here everytime I visit Disney. Comfy bed, clean room, free meals, and a nice welcome basket.

I couldn't believe this motel was located right across from Disneyland, right at the crosswalk. It's next to Coldstone, too. We had a basket of goodies in our room and the staff was great. I'd stay again.

This was a fantastic hotel for our family vacation to Disneyland. First of all, the location is as good as it gets if you're not willing to pay the exorbitant rates for places like the Disneyland Hotel. It's right across the street so you can walk to the entrance instead of parking at the Disneyland lot, taking a shuttle, and then walking. This hotel […] offers free parking for guests. The Park Vue offers a complimentary water and fruit basket with either wine or sparkling cider in the room and free cookies and drinks in the lobby. There is a complimentary breakfast which is pretty good (sausage, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, make-your-own waffles, donuts, cereals, juices, etc) and a light dinner offering. Before we left, we had a chance to swim in the pool which was nicely heated and to check out the jacuzzi. The only problems I had were the weak WiFi in our room and an intermittently noisy air conditioner. These were relatively minor quibbles for an otherwise great hotel, even better than the Ramada next door. We'll be staying at the Park Vue Inn again when we visit Disneyland/CA Adventures. Mehr

Convenient location, free breakfast - good when traveling with children. The room had a welcome basket with fruit and water in it! The carpets need to be professionally cleaned, otherwise the room was clean; no smoke or pet smells. I would recommend to others and stay if we visit Disneyland again.

Convenient location to disneyland-directly across the street from entrance. The rooms are a bit over priced for what you get-older rooms, noisy, and outdoors dirty. If you are not spending much time in the room, not bad.

You can't beat the location for access to Disney Land. The hotel staff members were all friendly and helpful. The room was a clean standard hotel-type room with two queen beds, which were a bit hard. It had a TV, microwave, hair dryer, fridge, coffee maker, safe and iron with an ironing board. Great location for Disneyland Anaheim. Clean, well maintained room, although the price seems to be on a steeper side for that area... Friendly Staffs.

We looked at this motel for the location and it couldn't have been any closer to D-land without being in D-land. We arrived at 9:30am and was able to park, check in, unload the car and be in D-land by 10:15. I researved a 2 bed set up(we had 2 adults and 2 kids). We ended up with 1 queen bed and a bunk bed which worked out even better. Returned to the […] motel at 8 to find a bottle of wine and some fruit(which my tot really enjoyed devouring). That night, we saw fireworks shooting up above the buildings and trees which was a pleasant surprise.Breakfast was nice. They had cereal, waffles, bacon, egg, potatoes,toast and fruit. The food was going faster than they were able to cook it so there was a little wait. We never made it to the dinner. Heard there was tacos. The only problem we had was the wireless internet. I kept losing signal. Overall, Park Vue Inn was clean, quiet, friendly and convienent. We will definately use them again. Mehr

Girlfriend trip to Disnyland. Dropped our bags off early. Front Desk staff very professional. When we got back to the hotel at park closing midnight, Picked up our keys and our bags had been delivered to the room. Room was very clean, gift basket with fruit and water, and wine with nice note plus birthday balloons and small gift for one of the girlfriends […] with sweet happy birthday note. Nice surprise!!!! Beds, pillows and sheets were very comfortable. 2 queen beds plus a bunk with a trundel. This room could have slept 7 confromtably. Breakfast was good and there was even a dinner pass for hotel. We were surprised with this addition. Did not use the pass for dinner. All 4 of the 50 plus girlfriends were very happy and would use and reccomend this hotel. If you are traveling with a family this is a great hotel to stay at both in value and location to Disneyland! Mehr

We love this place and have stayed here at least 8 times. We tried the other hotels around it and there service is not nearly up to par as these guys. They are always accommodating and the free breakfast is great. It's the small touches that really stand out, like the fruit basket and drink upon arrival. The rooms are a typical hotel room but they have a great included breakfast and are located right across the street from Disneyland.

We have gone to Disneyland several times over the years and have stayed at various hotels in the area. Park Vue is our new hotel for Disneyland trips. We loved loved loved it! Best location for walking to the parks. Fabulous breakfast is included. All the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be staying here from now on!

The staff were over the top friendly and helpful, the rooms were super clean, great size, comfortable, and had everything you would need there was even a gift basket with a personalized note from the hotel waiting for us when we got to our room. Great location easy to find and great breakfast every day with great choices not just cold cereal and fruit […] real food eggs, bacon, sasuage, hash brown potatoes, belgin waffels and more .. and right across from Disneyland this is the perfect place to stay. Park Vue Inn is the best location in Anaheim, so close to the Disneyland Park! They provide free parking and breakfast and afternoon snack, it's great bargain!

The hotel is perfectly placed as far as walking distance from the park. The downside is the maintenance of the hotel is not ideal because things are easily torn down or dirty/broken by the time you are halfway into your stay. Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at the Park Vue Hotel. It was sooooo close to the Disneyland gates you can see the taller rides from the breakfast room - just a 3 minute walk. The website doesn't tell you the outdoor pool is heated and was absolute bliss after a day at Disneyland - make time for a dip. We decided at the last minute on a trip to Disneyland. The DL hotel had rooms available but at more than twice what we spent on Park Vue. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. knowing our room wouldn't be ready. The entrance was coned off, the attendant confirmed our reservation, and gave us our parking permit good until midnight of check out day. We checked in, […] left for the park and returned later for our keys. The front desk personnel couldn't have been more pleasant or professional. When we picked up our keys, they gave us our meal tickets for that evening's social and the next morning's deluxe continental breakfast. When we got to our room, we found a goody basket with fruit, water, and wine, all complimentary. What a nice touch, Room had a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Two queen beds - 1 very soft, 1 very firm. Plenty of pillows, more in the closet. A safe, too, which is important to me so I don't have to lug my keys and heavy wallet around. Bathroom was for handicapped but worked fine if you don't mind a little water splattering on the floor. We just put down bath towels for traction. Plenty of shampoo and lotion as amenities plus a sign asking us to call the front desk if we had forgotten any toiletries. A call from the front desk about 1/2 hour after we checked in to see if there was anything we needed was a nice touch. We went to the evening social hour and they do check your meal tickets. The evening we were there they had green salad, potato salad, soup, chili, shredded cheese, hot dogs & buns, veggies, potato chips, water, and lemonade. All was fine - certainly not gourmet - but enough that I considered it my dinner. Our room was 117 on the ground floor, right next to the hotel's laundry room. I never heard any sound coming from the laundry room, the parking lot, or any of the other guests. The blackout curtains kept out all light and closed fully - not always the case at some hotels. The location of the Park Vue Inn to Disneyland is great! It's right at the crosswalk into the park. So if we needed to go back to the room for a change of clothes, etc. it was just minutes away. There was a welcome basket in our room with fruit, water and a bottle of wine which was very nice. It was also very convenient to park right outside the room. The downside for us was the noise. We were in a room which had a door to the next room if you needed an adjoining room. The insulation of that door and of the outside door was poor. We heard people talking as they walked by our room. We were awakened throughout the night by a crying baby in the adjoining room and could hear their every cough, etc. We also heard the footsteps of people above us. OK, so they are so close to Disneyland that the walk to the park is SHORTER than it would be if you parked in Disney's parking lots. The service is fantastic. We think they are secretly owned by Disney! Not really, of course, but they do try to mimic their customer service. A gift basket was waiting in our room for us, the breakfast was great, cookies […] and punch when you check in, a souveniger shop on the premises and Cold Stone on the premises! And if you are celebrating a birthday, they've teamed up with Cold Stone to give you a free mini ice cream cake, which is quite good. We will definitely stay there again. We reserved 3 rooms for our family and we all had good things to say about this hotel. It is very close to Disneyland - right across the street - which makes it an excellent choice if you have little ones in strollers. They have a nice welcome basket with wine and fresh fruit and cookies at the front desk -all big hits with our group. The breakfast […] is good but really crowded and they even offer a light dinner at 5pm (we were only there for one and they had hot dogs and a little salad). The down part to this hotel - and it may sway you from staying here - is that there can be considerable noise from the walkway directly outside of your room. The windows of your room are thin and guests walk right by your front door/window and many of them are little children who can be loud. Also, beware of the connecting rooms as we had one and it sounded like the baby next door was right in our room crying in the middle of the night! Yikes! My family makes frequent trips up to Disneyland, but this is the first time we stayed at the Park Vue Inn. Everyting was outstanding: free parking, steps away from Disneyland, vouchers for a buffet breakfast and light supper each day, refreshments in the lobby, and even a wine and fruit basket with a personal note in our room! Hotel is okay- room smelled real bad. Needs new carpet,, breakfast area barely has room indoors to eat. Very cold in winter months to have children eating outside in terrace. They should have an elevator access for second floor-mostly families with lots of luggage or other impairments. You can't beat the location. Literally less then 5 minute walk to the front gate of the parks. Your in between Ihop and Dennys. We parked our car and never had to drive anywhere everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was perfect for my family of four. We brought our 4 & 5 year old children to Disneyland for the first time and wanted to stay at a hotel near Disneyland but could not afford to stay inside the resort. Park Vue is literally right across the street from the Disneyland Resort. It is a short walk to the front gates of Disneyland, DCA and Downtown Disney. The room was very clean and the beds […] and pillows were comfortable. There was a complimentary gift basket with wine and fruit waiting for us in the room. The complimentary breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, gravy, waffles, bagels, muffins, fruit, cold cereal, milk, 4 juices, and all you can eat. Saved us a lot of money not having to take the kids out to eat in the morning. The overall price was very good and well worth the room and complimentary food. We only stayed one night this time. Easy walk to Disneyland ticket booth, about 700 ft. Free breakfast was nice, saves time . I will return on next visit to Disneyland.

What more could you ask for? The service was great, they even called a little after check in (which we were able to do 3 hours early) to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. This hotel is about as close to Disneyland as you can get. Free parking as well as free breakfast and light dinner was very convenient and saved us money. The staff were all very friendly and personable. Upon arrival, you'll receive a gift basket with bottles of water, fruit, and a bottle of wine, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel is older […] and although we had a room on the second floor and were never disturbed by noise, we did hear a guest complain about a ground floor room and hearing people roll suitcases, etc. My only complaint was that the bed was not comfortable - it seemed that the mattress needs to be replaced - it kind of sunk in toward the middle of the mattress and I couldn't sleep on my side without getting a back ache. The Park Vue inn is in the best location for a few days in Disneyland. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free Breakfast is ok and similar to surrounding hotels. My only problem was noise. Walls to our room on ground floor were paper thin. Could hear absolutely everything in minute detail from the family next door. We like the fact they give you a free breakfast and dinner. The only thing I wish they would change is the time for the breakfast. It is until 10am. It would be nice if it went until 11am.

You can't get any closer to the main entrance to Disneyland than the Park Vue Inn. Stayed in room 343 for 9 nights Sept 26th! Food was great! Welcome basket with water, wine and fruit was great! Juice and cookies in the lobby was nice! You walk right past the IHOP! Not too mention the Cold Stone Creamery on the street! Staff was so friendly, polite […] and helpful! This hotel is the closest walk to the diseyland front gate and free parking is included with room. So if you are driving your car and do not want to pay for diselyand parking, use this hotel and never have to worry about your car.

the location of this hotel to Disneyland can't be beat. We were at the main gate in 6 minutes. Our room was clean, and comfortable, with comfy beds for a good night's sleep. We not only had a fridge, but a microwave, coffee maker, room safe and ironing board. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. In the office they offer iced juices and […] water and coffee as well as pastries in the am as well as cookies later on. There is a computer for guests to check flights as well as print boarding passes. The price is right for a comfortable place to stay while visiting Disneyland Mehr

Park vue ticks all the boxes for my family, super convenient, good rooms, nice breakfast .This is my third year in a row of staying here whilst visiting Anaheim..would not choose differently. However one little gripe..at breakfast please try to ensure parents supervise their kids..encountered so many of them allowed to run loose in the breakfast area […] holding hot drinks/plates of food which inevitably end on the floor..an accident waiting to happen. hotel might also think about staggering breakfast times or having two sittings..it got so busy, seats and food were both scarce a times. However I saw the staff work so hard to accommodate all the guests so kudos to them for that. I hope I will be back! Mehr

Stayed in Room 247 for 5 nights. Two comfy queen beds. Quite roomy. Microwave. Small refrigerator. Largish CRT TV. Air Con worked great - kept the room nice and cool. Complimentary gift basket received 2nd day. Nice. Had some fruit, bottled water, bottle of wine. Breakfast included. Just show your ticket at the door of the dining room. Very convenient […] and quite good. Dinner also included between five and 7.30pm. Convenient. We often came home for this meal, then freshened up and headed back to the parks. For other restaurants - McDonalds a 5 minute walk, Denny's a 5 minute walk. Subway down the road 10 minute walk. IHOP next door. There's a convenience store down the road, too. There's a smaller convenience shop on-site for things like sunscreen, drinks, snacks, toothpaste. You can catch the 460 public bus to Knotts berry Farm from the bus stop in front of the IHOP. $1.50 each way per person. Don't pay a taxi $30 one-way. Cross the road at the traffic lights out front and after 5 minutes you'll be at the main gates for Disneyland Park, Disney's California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney Shopping precinct. You won't need to spend a dime on public transport and you won't waste valuable time waiting for shuttle buses and the like. The Hotel is 3 star but the location makes it 5-star value. The free breakfast and dinner makes it even better value. I'm pretty picky and I would definitely stay here again. In my view to thoroughly see both parks you want at least a 3-day ticket. That way you won't need to rush, can see everything, and can even do the things you really like twice. Do not miss "World of Color" or the fireworks over the Disney Castle - get there early to get the better spots for viewing. For "World of Colour" don't go to the front - you're too close to see it properly, and you'll also get wet. Try to stand at a railing so you're view cannot be blocked. At DCA - don't miss the Aladdin show. Fantastic! Mehr
