Das Airtel Plaza Hotel ist echt perfekt gelegen für Los Angeles Besuche. Von dort ist alles gut erreichbar(natürlich mit Mietwagen) Die Zimmer sind schön groß,die Betten in Ordnung Der Fernseher war allerdings noch eine "Röhre"(man ist aber auch nicht zum Fernsehschauen dort;-)) ) Pool und Whirlpool vorhanden ! Hotel liegt zwar etwas ausserhalb der Touristenattraktionen von LA, jedoch ist die Stadt so weitläufig, dass dies für uns nicht ins Gewicht fiel. Die Zimmer waren sauber und hatten vorallem im Bad eine nette Anlehnung an das Motto eines Flughafenhotels. Der befürchtete Fluglärm blieb aus, da (zumindest haben wir es nicht bemerkt) Nachts keine Starts […] und Landungen erfolgten und wir tagsüber ohnehin unterwegs waren. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant im Hotel, da es frischen Speisen zu absoluten super Preisen auf den Tisch brachte. Daher ohne Einschränkungen empfehlenswert. Mehr

could be a little prettier also, catering for vegetarians in the cafe and lounge was very poor - not much choice

Very attentive service. We used the fitness center and pool. The bar was comfortable and a good place to relax. The bartender was professional and conversant. I liked the retro aviation theme... Especially liked the Boeing 747 model in the lobby. The parking fee was disappointing. If my kid chooses CSUN, I'll be returning though!

Front desck staff and manager seemed unwilling to assist. Seemed their vocabulary consisted of the words "no" and "we can't".

I always like to book at rooms at this hotel their management Gary a top customer service quality guy and Brain another manager that always seek the way to make sure you feel treated like The President at this hotel.... I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

the food was great no central air or heater sucked

I had reserved a Califonia Suite which supposed to have 2 queen beds at check in they only had a room with 1 queen. They said that was all that was available enven though I had confirmation on the room. The hotel didn't make any effort to accomodate us so we had to ask full roll away beds to be brought to the room and they charged us for these. It was very convenient for me to be near both friends and a work appointment. The hotel was a little outdated but the staff was extrememly friendly and helpful.

Everytime I stay in Van Nuys I stay at this hotel. Good and safe place to stay. Good restaurant and bar. Nice and friendly staff.

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 1 night. The hotel is located close to an Airport, so there is some noise also during the night. The personnel is very nice but you have to pay 10 dollars each day for car parking.

Rooms need upgrading.. 20 year old televisions etc.

The hotel staff wasn't friendly. The food and room service was poor.

Not a bad place if you need to be close to van nuys airport or the immediate area. They have a decent restaurant in the hotel and gated parking that they charge $10 for that if felt was worth it. My only complaint was that there was a leaking faucet in the room above mine that I could hear dripping all night. It's a nice enough place to stay, I've been there many times. They charge $10 a night to park there and the TV's are 20" boxes. Aside from that, I like the place just fine.

We needed to stay in a hotel near Van Nuys, and this was the "best" hotel in the area. The decor was outdated, the building was old, the room was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable. The room was so dusty that I was itchy the whole stay. The parking was also pretty expensive. The only reason we stayed here was because of the location, but I would much […] rather have stayed in a better hotel twenty or thirty minutes away for the same price. The Hotel was just okay very nice staff though and somewhat convenient surroundings. But my skin was red and irritated from the sheets.

We truly enjoyed our mini vacation at the Airtel. The food was excellent.

Nice pool outside, good rates, and clean and comfortable. I didn't get the wakeup call that I asked for, but everything else was great.

Great place! We were on the 3rd floor and they had not made it there with the promised tactiles and paint seen in the lobby refurb displays. Still a roomy room And worth every penny!

Perfect for a family. Quiet, clean and a good value. Free breakfast would make it perfect as their buffet is really good.

It's another of those hotels who charge you expensive rate and don't even give you what an average motel would. No breakfast, OLD tv with the colors all messed up and remote control that barley works. When i entered the show there is NO steady stream of hot water, every 30 seconds it turns from extremely hot to cold.... i felt like a cheap hotel in […] south america. Mehr

Excellent hotel for it's price (on Hotels.com), if you book directly with the hotel it'll cost you a lot more. The hotel charges $10 per ay for parking. Street paring is available but not recommended for overnight. Food at the hotel is surprisingly good bothin the restaurant and room service. Old style TV sets in most rooms unless you upgrade to a "preferred" […] room for a newly renovated room and flat screen TV. Free internet, both wired and wireless, good reception. Pay Per View movies available. ome of the rooms can be a bit noisy if you are by the airport runway when lanes take off, but you can request a quiet room. Very friendly and good service, always smiling. The staff is very attentive. The room was large, clean and bright. We liked the breakfast buffet. It was a very good experience.

This hotel is dated but it is about to get a make over. The bathrooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable.

They charge a lot for parking and don't advertise it. Beware!

Very simple and small rooms. Nothing too special. Bed very uncomfortable. Pay for parking as a guest of the hotel?

Not mentioned in description, the hotel and airport runway has only its small parking lot in between. Small and noisy airplants take off / land very late into night and started early in the morning.The windows are so old an can't even block the argument of a couple in the parking lot. Not to say the airplants.

Loved my room, very clean. Great view.The staff was very personable and excellent.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone. Hotel is beautiful and quiet. Stop using feather pillows because they go flat in the middle and puff up on the ends and cover my mouth and nose. - Stop tucking the top sheet under the mattress. Stayed here for two nights during Christmas. The interior is a bit out-dated but kept in a good and clean shape. Staff was courteous. Location is good if you are visiting west LA. All in all good experience.

I entended my stay at the Airtel Plaza after staying there for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful and it was neat staying right at the Van Nuys airport. It has a lot of history and old movie memorabilia around the lobby. The restaurant was tasty and the lounge was beautiful. The rooms have been renovated and are super comfy. The only down side was parking. […] We were traveling with a rv and had to come in and out of the employee entrance which ended up being a horrible inconvenience. Every morning we would be stuck sitting waiting for someone inside to hear us ring the button to get out and every evening we would sit and wait again. Eventually we ended up calling the hotel when we were pulling up. A huge downfall after working all day and just wanting to get to your room. The hotel also told is that the rate for parking would be $10 per space that we took up. We took up 2 spaces and they charged us $25 each night. If I would have known that it was a flat rate, I would have taken up 5 spaces in the back legnthways instead of taking the time to fit into only 2. Overall the hotel was beautiful but the parking was n issue just because of our vehicle. Anyone with a normal car should be fine. Mehr

My husband and I stayed here after he had foot surgery. He could not travel afterwards. The staff brought a wheel chair 2 the car and unloaded my husband and our luggage while I parked the car.
