Fleckige Decken, undichte Fenster, Lärm in der Nacht, Wasser, das durch die Decke tropft und Servicemitarbeiter, die nicht mit den Gästen reden. Immerhin nicht weit von UBahn und Hyde Park. Für den Preis hätte man in London nichts besseres erwarten dürfen, nächstes Mal nehme ich aber dennoch lieber ein Hostel, da dürfte es wesentlich bessere Exemplare […] geben... Mehr

Hotel staff Very unhelpful, Wouldn't get me an extra cup!? for the tea making facilities in the room. The room its self was very run down and could do with a clean, the window was THICK with dust and has obviously not been cleaned in months.

It's small room. Although not as small as some other London single hotel rooms that are more expensive. Convenient, wireless internet is great. I would stay at this hotel for just myself or with +1.

If your looking for a hotel just to put your head down at night, this is a pretty good deal. While the rooms were a bit small (as were the hallways), the price for London is quite good. Further, the surrounding neighborhood is fantastic and we ended up exploring a part of the city we otherwise probably wouldn't make it to.

the title is the only compliment I can give this hotel (apart from the price) - don't take the Mrs here for a romantic weekend whatever u do :$

The hotel should be renamed a dormatory. Very tiny rooms. bad mattresses. Very old, not well maintained. Washrooms OK. The pictures resemble slightly the hotel but must have been taken a few years ago, during better days. Can get a better quality hotel for the same price elsewhere, closer to city center.

But that's about it. The smallest room I've ever seen!Our closet is bigger and a terrible bed and not even close to being big enough for two grown ups... You could here everything your next door neighbors were breathing. The personal were nice but the breakfast was so bad. Just toast and jamk. White bread only! NOT recommendable at all!

The hotel was convenient to the underground, the linen was clean. However the carpet could be changed and the walls need painting. Staff were friendly but did not know much about London!

Stayed only 1 night. I will definitely wont choose this place again. Location is ok, 5 min walk from Bayswater underground station. I have no idea how can this place be a hotel, I have stayed better Hostels than this "hotel" After red a few review I took a chance and booked a room in this place. Booked double bed room, I had twin...only positive thing […] was in the room is the bathroom. the wall in the room was dirty, floor dirty as well. I also red positive feedback from this place and i really dont understand. Perhaps the hotel staff wrote it to get some positive feedback as well, got no idea.. I have stayed at the Wedgewood 3 times. I honestly wouldn't stay anywhere else in London now that I have found this hotel. When I first looked into booking this hotel, I was really put off by the reviews but luckily didn't take the advise of "Never book into this hotel" as I really would have missed out on this gem! The hotel is a bargain and you are […] located just off the Queensway where there are many restaurants and bars, so when you are ready to leave the bustle of central London you know you can still continue your night and only be a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are 2 tube lines on the Queensway which is also convenient and you are literally 5 minutes walk from Kensington Park. The hotel's reception is lovely and the staff are always friendly and polite. If you arrive at the hotel early, check in is at 2pm, they allow you to keep your bags in the luggage room. The rooms are small but all are ensuite. Don't get me wrong, the walls could do with a lick of paint (literally scuffs from luggage) but for how long you stay in a room I don't know why people complain about this!! The rooms are spotless though and are cleaned daily. New towels are given every other day. There is a continental breakfast each morning - coffee, tea, orange juice, cereal and toast. Basic but gets you started for the day. As I said I wouldn't stay anywhere else as long as I could get myself booked into the Wedgewood. I think people expect the Ritz, even when they get a bargain!!!! Highly, highly recommended for location, comfort and price. Mehr

Horrible service and RUDE staff. Bizarre cash deposit requirement if you want a remote for your TV. TV receives only 4 channels. Hotel is located on a street lined with Hostels, so there are non stop parties and street noise that you are forced to endure due to the fact that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING so you must keep your window open. Room was FILTHY […] and many of the walls, carpets etc. are in disrepair. "Continental Breakfast" consistes of corn flakes and toast. What a nightmare! I left the Hotel before my stay was up and found other accomodations. Mehr

Decent hotel with very close proximity to to underground stations so you have easy access to every corner of london with the tube. However, the double room i shared with my gf was too tiny for 2. Only one person could move about at a time. Also, probly not a good hotel to go to in the summer cuz even tho i went in mid-september the room was still really […] hot. all in all its good enough for a short stay trip in a quiet but central location. It would have been nice to check in anytime instead we had to check-in at 2pm. The first room that was allocated to me really stank, but I asked for another room and was given it without any fuss. The room was really small, it was a small double bed, my partner and I were fighting for space. The room was extremely hot, it had no air con, we had to keep […] the window open at all times. This didn't help. Breakfast was very basic, self service, toast, cereal, coffee tea, orange juice. Not very appetizing. The hotel was convenient for the tube and was very clean. The receptions in all cases were vet friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and was open the whole time. It was in a relatively quiet area. One of the rooms our fami;y occupied had a damaged window that had not been repaired and as that window opened onto the street caused some anxiety […] for one of the occupants. The breakfast wash total waste of time and was quite the worst I had ever been served in any hotel in over 40 years. arrived after a long trip only to find the bed arangements not as we asked 3 single beds was told that nothing else was available until the next day. so my son and I slept in a double bed and my daughter in the single. poor customer service tv not tuned in and poor picture, when moved the next day tv poor and no remote.on leaving didnt ask how we were […] and no thanks for staying with us. The room I stayed was in very poor condition. Everything in the room was very old and not clean. There was no air conditioning, and electrical fan nether. The room temperature was was about 35℃ at daytime and 28℃ at night. It was too hot to stay there in summer time, and I couldn’t sleep well. The bathroom was very small, and the shower only got a little […] bit water comes out, and I couldn’t take a proper shower. Well the Hotel its kind of well located, but what is not good is the treatment of the receptionists working there. They dont know what to answer when asked about things referred to the hotel, prices, and also not when you need some information about tourists places in London. the room is boiling and the staff are very unhelpful... the worst hotel i've ever stayed. Cheap but really not recommended

This hotel was found at the last moment to tide us over after a change of plans. We found it to be clean, well-situated and affordable. The staff people are helpful, and the area is a nice mix of shops, pubs and reidences in a quiet area of London. Our room WAS tiny and the doors seemed to fight with each other as to the way they opened, clashing with […] each other unless you were careful. The bathrooms were newly refurbished, nicely designed, and the water was nice and hot in the shower. But the room was so tight that I kept bashing my leg on a cupboard while turning in bed. Don't choose this hotel for a romantic getaway or if you expect luxurious accomodations. Otherwise it's not a bad place to stay for the money. Mehr

L'hôtel m'a vraiment déçu. Mauvaise surprise en arrivant à l'hotel, la chambre ne correspond pas aux photos publiées sur le site. Confort très basique, chambre visiblement mal entretenue, traces sur les murs, rien pour accrocher les vêtements et serviette dans la salle de bain, porte battante de salle de bain ferme mal, ventilateur bruyant. Mauvaise […] évacuation d'eau de la douche, rien n'a été fait malgré la réclamation. Ils ont dû se contenter mettre la moquette par dessus au lieu de réparer le parquet, ça fait du grincement et bruit terrible quand l'occupant de la chambre à l'étage supérieur se déplace. Petit déjeuner compris mais encore une fois basique. (lait, jus d'orange, café instantané, toast, beurre et confiture). Point positif, l'hôtel est bien situé, 5 mins. de la rue commerçant, Metro Bayswater & Queensway, et près du parc Kensington. Mehr

La verdad que el hotel esta bastante bien , para lo que te puedes encontrar. Lo de tener baño propio es importante y la verdad limpiaban las habitaciones todos los dias. El personal muy amable. Las unicas quejas serian que el desayuno era algo escaso y que la tv solo pillaba cinco canales en ingles, ademas no los sintonizaba muy bien. Hotellet er mer en "bed & brekfast" enn et hotell. Helt ok rom, lite, men det er rent og det funker. Det var ingen internettforbindelse på hotellet og to av våre tre dage der var det ingen vann i dusj, vask eller toalett. Vi fikk låne et annet rom med vann, det rommet var grusomt (i første etg). Dårlig frokost (toast og syltetøy). Men det ligger sentralt […] like ved Notthing Hill og er meget billig! Fatima i resepsjonen har sett bedre dager, ikke et smil å få fra henne. Alt i alt bor jeg der gjerne igjen. Det er byen man vil se, ikke hotellet:) Mehr

Jeg vil absolut ikke anbefale dette hotel overhovedet. Dårlige senge, meget små værelser. Meget slidt hotel, og ingen konmfort overhovedet. Et meget lille hotel.

Sikkerheten knyttet til hotellet var svært dårlig. Vi hadde som flere andre innbrudd på rommet. Politiet anbefalte oss innstendig om å flytte ut av hotellet fordi sikkerheten var for dårlig.

Bien placé mais il y a mieux pour ce prix.

Frukosten var den sämsta någonsin. Cornflaces och mjölk Rostatbröd och näskaffe i en icke ventilerad lokal Enda pålägg, sylt

Værelset var for lille til tre personer, som vi havde bestilt. Der stod også at det var tre enkelt senge - det var det ikke, men en dobbelt og en enkelt. Morgenmaden var ikke at råbe hurra for, medmindre man er helt vild med toastbrød og corn flakes

Bokade hotellnatt i senaste laget. Ganska snabbt på internet. Skulle ha kollat upp lite bättre - men närheten till det tidigare hotellet avgjorde. Ett enkelt turisthotell, enkla rum, utan stol och bord och bord på rummet, utan internet, enkel frukost. Dusch och toalett helt OK - men rummet kändes pauvert, teven väldigt flimrig. Inte prisvärt i förhållande […] till vad jag betalade och i relation till det andra hotellet. Bra för övernattning, dock inte om man behöver jobba på rummet. Trots allt: kanske ett vanligt **-hotell. Är man van vid lite skruttigare hotell så är det här helt klart ett bra val... Men man får vad man betalar för! Bra frukost! Bra städat, Alltid rena handdukar, Ventilation på rummet fanns ej Det mest lyhörda rummet som jag någonsin har tillbringat tid i.

Huone oli melko siisti ja wc oli puhdas, joskin suihkusta tuli huonosti vettä. Lämpimällä ilmalla huone kuuma. Lattia narisi tosi pahasti. Hissi oli ahdas ja meni epäkuntoon. Aamupala melko niukka. Sijainti oli hyvä. Lyhyt matka metroon ja bussi pysäkille. Nottinghillin Portobello lähellä.

Hotellet ligger rigtigt hyggeligt, men lader en del tilbage at ønske. Det er vel OK til prisen - om sommeren, for der er pivutæt og ingen termoruder. Sengene er små, 120 cm. Der er, hvad der skal være, men heller ikke mere. Forvent at skulle købe supplerende morgenmad ude i byen, der er kun toast, butter and jam - og instant coffee

The Wedgewood is not a hotel. It's a trap. Dirty, smelly, horrible in all the senses. Doesn't deserv to be in the hoteis.com list

Ok hotell til en rimelig pris. Nært til undergrund. Dårlig frokost, hvis du ikke er veldig glad i corn flakes eller loff med syltetøy.

Hotel med kun 2 stjerners service - hvor det ikke er en gentagelse værd. Standard var kun acceptabelt - desværre ikke gode senge, morgenmad kunne undværes, ellers bør man forbedre det. Service i reception ok men ikke smilende. Bestilling af taxa via reception ikke heldigt når det er en pirat taxa.

Et billigt hotel, men på trods af det ville jeg ikke sige det var pengene værd. For det første var servicen på hotellet af særdeles tvivlsom karakter - det virkede ikke som om dem der arbejde der kunne lide deres job. For det andet har hotellet en særdeles dårlig beliggenhed til den metro, som er et must at bruge når man er i London. Noget andet yderst […] kritisk ved hotellet er at man kan høre ALT hvad der foregår gennem væggene og gulvene. Anbefaler alle som ønsker et hotel i samm prisklasse som dette hotel at vælge et andet. Jeg havde stort set ikke brug for andet end en god seng at sove i og de mest elementære hygieijneske omgivelser. Jeg synes jeg fik mer end jeg havde ønsket. Min varmeste anbefaling, hvis det ikke er Hilton man ønsker.
