Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport - Roissy-en-France

After working our way through all the Paris sights in the cold and rain for 7 days, our last night in a spacious and comfortable room was wonderful. Reception personnel who spoke fluent English made us feel welcome and their assistance with obtaining our boarding passes was much appreciated. We loved that the hotel has its own shuttle to/from the airport […] so we didn't have to worry about waiting for the multi-hotel shuttles and being late. Our ONLY complaint is that even by Paris standards we felt the meal options were over-priced. Mehr

Great for arrival in Paris or early flights out, but one pays dearly for the convenience. Full service hotel with a decent gym and pool.

Amazing value!! Can safely say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect for the whole family. Only down side was our three year old removing drinks from the minibar :-) Staff were amazing and treated us so well.

Very nice and clean hotel. The kind of comfort you can expect from a Hilton. To go to the ariport you can either take the CDGVAL or the hotel offers very early shuttles.

This hotel does what it says. It's a good comfortable hotel that great for an early start at CDG.

Very disappointede that the hotel did not offer free Internet.all the other hotels I stayed at did offer it

Shortage of staff in the resturant and the bar was very unsatisfactory. The plates were not cleared from the table and it took 45 minutes to get a drink in the bar as only one person was working. This is very bad service as I have stayed here often and never had this problem before.

Would recommend this hotel - so convenient and such a very attentive service. Very quiet too - can not recollect any airplane noise either. Buffet dinner was very busy - obviously popular with guests and also recommended it. Shuttle bus service to the airport was not every 15minutes in our case - more like 30 minutes, so that needs to be taken into […] account. On the way to the hotel from the airport, the very helpful driver evidently was involved in taking us right up into our room - never come across that before - excellent service indeed . We would definately stay there again, and even if it was a bit more expensive than those other hotels which are all together, that extra was we felt well worth paying for ! Mehr

This Hilton is my "go to" hotel for those late arrivals or early departures from CDG. Very well maintained and with a very courteous staff, my experience has always been a good one. The main opportunity for improvement that I could see would be the addition of some covering to the walkway to the CDG terminal train system for those days with bad wea […] ther. Mehr

Convenient for one night before catching your plane. Right inside the airport. They have their own shuttle located on top of the TGV train station, terminal 2. Service is great. Room really cosy and relaxing after a long trip. Advice: 1) try to eat before. The food is expensive. The quality is pretty bad, especially for the price. We recently stayed at the Hilton in CDG since we were in route to Canada. The hotel is conveniently located closed to the TGV and metro station as well as the chuttle to the airport. However, please be aware that you will be paying top $$ for an airport hotel extremely overpriced for what you get. We purchased the breakfast included option and they […] kept arguing every morning breakfast was not included. Had to log in into my iPad and show them constantly. Don;t think you have intenet access. They charge you $27EUROS/day to use the service. The staff was nice but did not move one finger to make your stay a pleasant one. They just don't care. I requested early check in since we were arriving on an early flight and they indicated they could do nothing and kept pushing for an upgrade for additonal $6o EUROS just to have us check in early. Overall dissapointed and would not recommend this hotel. There is the IBIS next to it for less money and the Sheraton is right at the airport. Not impressed. Mehr

Although made reservation inc Breakfast it was not shown on reservation in hotel and had to "persuade" check in to honor.it. Hotel is old around the edges and prices in all establishments are high.

Great stay at this hotel...only thing is they are taking FOREVER to fix the sidewalk outside the hotel to get to the front entrance from the train station path to the hotel. Its a big pain when you have a large suitcase on wheels and have to tow it on the street and over curbs. It has been unfixed and blocked off since I stayed there in MAY... 6 months […] ago. Bathroom is not for seniors-marble floors look nice but dangerous I slipped stepping out of shower and brused my hip. I made a record of it but refused medical aid as I was so grateful I didn't break my neck. Food at restaurant was not tasty and overpriced. Showerhead came off in my hand. I was very disappointed at the cost for internet access in the room - not wireless, just internet access period. This is the most I've paid anywhere on travel I've been taking over the past month. Ridiculous. Aside from that, shuttles run frequently enough, it seems and shuttle drivers are helpful. Location makes it easy to get to metro and into town. […] Breakfast buffet was fine, and the fresh-squeezed OJ was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable. hotel was chosen for access to airport. room was satisfactory, restaurant and food service satisfactory. simply walked out of the hotel and down the street to rail access to terminal one. only comment was the lengthy queue for check out and the need for extra staff during peak periods. arrival by car to the hotel is poorly signposted.

It was so close to Delta very convenient. I have stayed there before, décor needs some renewal. Staff was very courteous.

We needed a Paris hotel close to CDG for a noon flight. We arrived about 8:00 p.m. the night before so didn't have the opportunity to sample the restaurant for dinner but the buffet breakfast the next morning was great, and included in the special king room rate. Returning our rental car the night before proved somewhat more challenging as the shuttle […] from the terminal to the hotel had not come after a wait of 30 - 45 mins. but the walk back to the hotel was only about 1/4 mile. My GPS set to pedestrain showed the way. Best hotel feature - the lack of noise. Although we could see planes takiing off right outside our window, we never heard a sound. Would recommend highly for an overnight stay before a flight, especially if a discount rate is available. Not the place for neighborhood ambiance. Mehr

Hotel was great, restaurant ok. We tried to order cheese pizza and spaghetti, both of which are on the menu, they had a pizza american, but not just cheese, and they had to substitute penne pasta for spaghetti, not a great inconvenience, but when you pay the price for a place like this you should be able to order something offered on the menu and expect […] them to have it. My wife was ill and we had a room service meal which arrived cold. The internet service is the most expensive I've evr seen, including cruise ships. Other than that the room was very comfortable and the linens awesome. The breakfast was very good as well.

The hotel was fine and the service for our room was fine, however, the lack of knowledge of the front desk staff about which terminal we wanted and how to get there was terrible. We got conflicting information on this and were told by the shuttle driver that he 'was forbidden' to go to our terminal! No adequate explanation. However, he finally relented […] and drove us. It would seem to me that one of the main reasons that people stay at a hotel at the airport is because they are traveling to and from said airport and the hotel should at the very least have ready access to the information needed by guests. Nice hotel and great breakfast

I think this is an excellent hotel except for one key element - the cost (not free) and quality (not very good) of their internet service. 2 Euros for one hour for the "occasional" user, and the quality is low - low bandwidth and also there is a limit on total data. During a two-week trip through western Europe, this is the ONLY place I had to pay for […] Internet service. Mehr

A very comfortable airport hotel that should be convenient, but we were unable to find the hotel shuttle from the airport terminal. When we inquired at the information desk in the terminal he said there was no shuttle, that we should take the airport train. It was a long walk to catch it and a fairly long walk from the exit to the hotel. NOT at all […] convenient with luggage and a semi handicapped companion. The hotel receptionist said this has been a continuing a problem. Once we arrived the hotel was great, and the shuttle back to the airport was very convenient. Mehr

Hotel located at the CdG airport outside Paris with easy access to airport trainstation and terminals. Friendly staff and quality services. Rooms are tidy and clean. Some noise from the hallway and internet connection is expensive! A good option when in transit.

Average hotel, with average room, average staff and below average restaurant. I continue to go there because it is less expensive than the Sheraton and almost as convenient but management should consider make it a bit above average

This Hilton is not in the airport, it is a short drive away with a free shuttle that leaves every 15-20 minutes and starts at 6am and only stops at one terminal (so schedule in travel time to arrive at the terminal you need). The shuttle drivers were borderline rude but everyone else on staff was very friendly. Close to the airport, but not much else. You will have to take a taxi or the train into Paris to see the sites. Wouldn't recomend this hotel if you plan to see Paris. We stayed here on the last night of a 2 week romp, because it was close to the airport and had an early flight. Good sized American room's. Overpriced, not very good food. Having just stayed a few days in the Barcleona Hilton, I expected the same level of Greatness. The first night we had to ask for Face cloths which were missing from our room, then each day had to ask again as for some reason they never gave us Face cloths. Next the Breakfast was at least 35% smaller as to choices at the buffet. Lastly, the converter […] the front desk gave me killed both my Walkie -Talkie charger and my AA battery charger. The front desk only said "Sorry" and at least threw it away so it would not kill another guests equipment. Other than that , the stay was OK Mehr

The size and quality of the rooms are outstanding, in terms of Paris ubication. The price is very convinient for the location, very close to the airport and also considering the free transportation from and to the airport.

I've no complaints about the hotel itself. However, trying to find it was a page right out of "Amazing Race" (without the clues). We booked our room for our last night in France and took the train directly from the south of France right into Charles de Gaulle airport. So far, so good. Looking at the airport map we found every airport hotel marked except […] the Hilton. We were told at information how to get the airport train (CDGVal) over to Terminal 3 and there one could access the Hilton although they were hazy as to how to do that other than it was "impossible" to take a taxi there. Once arriving at Terminal 3 the mystery deepened. Several hotels with obvious signage were situated right there by the terminal. There are shuttle buses (navettes) appearing regularly but none of them going to the Hilton. I asked one of the bus drivers and he told me to "wait for the Hilton bus". I then asked a young fellow who was attached to the Fireman brigade there at the Terminal and he looked confused and pointed in me in some vague direction. We continued to wait outside for the Hilton Shuttle bus because the terminal was stifling hot. Then it began to rain. We watched enviously as two or three non-Hilton shuttle buses came, picked up their grateful passengers and went. Finally, I asked yet another shuttle bus driver when we might expect a shuttle for the Hilton and he looked pityingly at me and pointing in the direction opposite of where the fireman had thought it might be found and said "The Hilton is right over there! Not 300 meters!" He directed us back through the terminal and out through an obscure door and after walking out that door and out about 30 meters could finally see the Hilton! Dragging our wet bags along behind us we circumnavigated a construction zone and finally staggered into the lovely, cool, marble lobby of the Hilton Hotel Charles de Gaulle Airport. This is truly a fantastic place on you first or last night before flying out from CDG. It was a real bargain at the book ahead, pre-pay rate that included breakfast. Not sure how it would be as a base for touring as my preference would be toward smaller, more intimate hotels. The staff at the hotel desk was incredibly helpful. One of the hotel porters […] even made a special trip to the Hertz car rental office for us to retrieve a jacket we left in our rental car. I would have never chosen this hotel if we would have had to pay the full "rack" rate, but the Hotels.com rate was outstanding value for a wonderful room. It was a perfect end to a perfect vacation in France.

Just steps from the terminal this hotel is perfect for those who have an early morning flight from CDG.

The hotel is a good overnight stay, especially if you have an early flight to catch. Rooms are good size and clean. However I found that the food at restaurant and room service were quite expensive. I had a Beer, Onion Soup and a Hamburger for $75.00 USD Also staff is not very friendly.
