Wir hatten das Standardzimmer mit französichem Bett. Das Zimmer ist so klein, dass das Bett gerade so eben hineinpasst. Das Bad ist vollgepackt mit grossem Waschbecken, Toilette, Bidet und Dusche und aus Marmor, aber schon in die Jahre gekommen. Man kommt zu zweit nicht aneinander vorbei. Die Location ist super. Nahe der Altstadt und Bahnhof Brignole. […] Frühstückspersonal ziemlich motzig. Es gibt guten italienischen Kaffee in allen Variationen, ansonsten viel Süsses. Raucher müssen vor die Tür gehen, da es keinen Raucherraum oder -balkon gibt. Wenn man ein Zimmer im 5.Stock hat, eher ein mühsamer Umstand. Parkhaus ist winzig. Mit einem grossen Auto kommt man kaum um die Ecken. Sie müssen einem das Tor von der Rezeption aus öffnen und vergessen das ab und zu. Dann muss man hochlaufen und sie erinnern. :-) Parkplatz kostet €21.- pro Nacht, wobei es allerdings nicht wirklich Alternativen in der Umgebung gibt, wo man länger als bis morgens um 7 parken darf. Wir haben trotz allem den Aufenthalt genossen, weil das Hotel eine Toplage hat und Genua eine sehr schöne Stadt ist. Die Stimmung ausserhalb ist prima. Also alles in allem trotzdem empfehlenswert. Very comfortable, reasonably priced, well located and well run hotel. Excellent public areas and rooms and I would readily recommend it.

A good hotel close to rail roard station in the centrum of the city.

The location of the Golden Tulip Moderno Verdi was wonderful for us arriving by train one afternoon and leaving the next morning. It is literally across the street from the station. In addition, the room was comfortable and roomy and very clean. The staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast was quite adequate and very much like the other Italian […] hotel breakfasts we enjoyed. The only slightly negative we might report is that it was quite hot when we were there, and the air conditioning only worked when we were occupying the room. So when we went out to dinner, the air was off, and the room heated up. But I do understand the energy saving necessity and appreciate the fact that it was indeed air conditioned at all! Mehr

Very good located in centrum. But staff was not so nice at all time... But recomended hotell.

The location was perfect. Just across the street from the train station. There is a nice restaurant nearby called Rustichello. The employees were very nice and all spoke English very well. Good recommendation for a place to eat. The rooms were very nice and the hotel lobby well appointed. Pleasant to sit in and use the internet.

Had a quick stop over so it was a good location for us right across the road from the main train station. Our room was spotless and the buffet breakfast was perfect!

The hotel was under construction. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable.

The staff were exceedingly helpful and pleasant; the restaurant served good, inexpensive food; the entire hotel was clean and cared for. But it was unfortunately not enough to overcome the post-apocalyptic hotel exterior, the grimy, run-down neighborhood -- and the single most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I wish I could recommend the hotel […] for the sake of the staff, who gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Rusticello -- AAAAmazing food) and were generally very nice, but the facility just doesn't live up to its stars. The Moderno Verdi, located just across the street from the Brignole train station, does not look like much from the outside. But the interior is quite impressive, with wood and gilt walls and ceilings. Rooms are spacious and though we didn't get a room with a jacuzzi, we were perfectly content with our "vertical jacuzzi": a shower stall with jets that […] shoot out of the walls. Walking to the old town is very convenient, as you first proceed down the cute commercial street called San Vincenzo, followed by the major commercial boulevard 20th September. Both these streets are active into the evening, so you feel like the walk home is safe. Breakfast is a bit heavy on the sweet items, though there's still eggs, bacon, and bread with one kind of cheese and one kind of ham. The internet is wired, so only one computer can use it at a time (they will provide a cord if you forget to bring one). Our only real complaints were the firmness of the beds and the lack of towel hooks/rods in the bathroom to hang up our towels before/after showering. Would definitely stay here again. Mehr

There is no or little air conditioning in the rooms. Staff rude and unpleasant.

Though this hotel doesn't look like much form the outsside, it was well-appointed inside with a very helpful, English-speaking staff. Our room was modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I've had. Hotel is within walking distance of all of the historic district.

Hotel has the BEST old-fashioned elevator, black rod iron n open glass. Service at breakfast as excellent...lots of variety of food. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel thru the internet at the tourist booth and were pleasently surprised when we arrived. It's a bit off the path and more in a residential zone...area between there […] and the harbor contains lots of shops/places to eat...unfortunately we were there on a sunday in the summer tho, so most were closed. VERY convienient to B.....(I forget the name) major train station! Mehr

A real gem located next to the Brignole train station. Friendly staff, comfortable room. A large breakfast, included in the price, got me off to a good start in the morning.

This hotel was very pleasant and the breakfast was terrific. The only negative thing was the room size. It was lovely and clean and very well appointed, but there was hardly any room to open our luggage.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is run as a high end luxurious hotel. Reception spoke good english, was corteous. Room is well equipped, has high ceilings, huge bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, flat screen with channels you may want. Pedestranian zone starts right next to the hotel and it is very close to get to the center of old city and old […] port. Parking was available for 21 euros a night.Free and very good breakfast. Mehr

Bortsett fra et rom som var såpass lite at det ikke innbød til annet enn soving, er det ingenting å klage på ved dette hotellet. En utmerket beliggenhet ved siden av Genova Brignole som er stoppested for både tog og busser. Forøvrig en helt grei service og tilsynelatende greit vedlikeholdt hotell. Frokosten var ikke et høydepunkt, men det er et relativt […] vanlig fenomen på sydlige breddegrader. Takk til den brasilianske jenta bak bardisken for hyggelige samtaler. Mehr

Hotel bem localizado e quarto confortavel. Recepcionistas grosseiros, Argentários e despreparados, sem falar Inglês ou qualquer outra lingua que não o Italiano. Nunca mais volto depois de ter que me esquivar dos golpes para me arrancar mais dinheiro quando o hotel já estava prepago. Sem Internet. Preço de estacionamento abusivo.

Accueil peu aimable et parking excessivement cher alors qu'il n'ya pas de véritables emplacements. Mauvaise pioche.

Enkelt, rent. Lite inrökta rum (svag röklukt) och små rum. I övrigt aldeles utmärkt.

tres bon rapport qualité prix , accueil tres professionnel , un bemol le buffet du petit dejeuner vide a 9h45 et non rechargé, service moyen a ce niveau beaucoup d'hotelier francais pourraient prendre exemple !!

Golden Tulip ligger rett ved togstasjonen, og ikke alt for langt unna sentrum av Genova. Det er gangavstand inn til sentrum. Jeg var godt fornøyd med hotellet. Restauranten hadde god mat. God frokost.

A szálloda alatt üzemel egy parkoló, ahová a személyzet áll be az autóval. Ha tele van, akkor jó idő mire előszedik az autót. A vendégek igen kis százaléka tudja csak igénybe venni, mert nagyon kicsi, csak pár autó fér be. A szálloda környékén csak bedobálós parkoló van. Ha kocsival mész a városba, nem ajánlom, de gyalog kiváló. A környék zajos és koszos, […] de nincs messze a látnivalóktól. Mehr

Het hotel was prima maar het parkeren is erg duur, t.w. 21 euro per nacht. Dit staat ook nergens vermeld bij het reserveren. Opties voor goedkoper parkeren worden ook niet aangegeven.

Très bon accueil (en français). Hôtel bien situé très propre. Seul point négatif s'il en était un : le parking payant (21 euros).

Chambre double exigue avec un seul chevet pour 2 personnes. Un accueil médiocre, plutôt arrogant même, et un petit déjeuner améliorable. Le quartier de la gare n'est pas le plus plaisant de Gênes et le centre touristique assez éloigné à pieds. En revanche l'hôtel est calme et bien climatisé. This hotel is clean but old. The area is om a buisiness area that is boring in the evening.

Quelques bémols pour ce hôtel 4*: - la chambre française - est pour 1 pers et non pour deux pers. - pas de place pour mettre ces bagages si vous séjourné plus qu'un nuit ! - parking étroit-modeste, très cher 21 Euro /nuit information manquante dans votre présentation du hôtel - petit déjeuner sommaire, pas personnalise pour un 4*

Bra läge, trevliga kvarter. Bra hotell men kanske inte lever upp till sina fyra stjärnor.

Rent och trevligt hotell, vi hade ett fyrbäddsrum med sköna sängar. Nära till affärsgator med bra shopping som sedan leder ner till hamnområdet där mycket finns att göra och se. Missa inte att besöka gamla stan, vackra hus men ganska slitet. Genua är en levande stad.
