Knights Inn Saginaw - Saginaw

My husband and I normally travel in our little motorhome. We like our own clean bed! But this Knights in was so clean. You can tell that they re-modeled the motel, but it was done very well and with alot of thought. It was modern, the people were very nice, and the price was so reasonable. Thank you!

The price of the hotel was great, but things kinda went down hill from there. Most uncomfortable beds, very small bathroom with cracking and peeling paint and mold. Cleaning crew were banging on my door at 930am, when check out is at 1100am. dvd player very hard to work and front desk was no help. What was nice is that there was both a mini fridge and […] microwave. Room had what appeared to be dog hair on the couch and carpet. Inflamed my allergies to pet dander. Mehr

hotel was great for the price beds were really comfortable you could see that they were doing some renovation to this site. no noise clean and sleeps good there is everything to eat around the hotel with in walking distance . i highly recommend this hotel ive stayed here last year and earlier this year and have seen so much improvement done

Room was clean, but paint was peeling from the bathroom walls. There was a single cup coffee maker, and 2 packs of coffee. There was NOT however, any shampoo, conditioner, or normal glasses. Foam cups and 'A' bar of soap. This place is like 10 minutes from the arena to see the Saginaw Spirit hockey team, and surrounded by stores for shopping including […] a convenience store/gas station at their entrance. In a pinch, for the price it wasn't bad. I did however only save like $20 over my parents who stayed at a much better place with an INDOOR pool. I bought my hockey tickets there, and theirs were included in the price. Mehr

So this hotel does not have a shuttle from the airport and cabs cost a flat rate of $40!!! So $40 each way from the airport make this not worth the additional cost. The hotel next door is a little more expensive but has a free shuttle and is MUCH nicer. When we checked into our room, the smell that hit us when we opened the door was overwhelming. Every […] surface in the room was stained with mold and wet. Gross. They were very sweet at the front desk and changed our room, but I can't imagine staying here again. There is a sidewalk from the hotel to the shopping centers down the street, and they did have a working TV/airconditioner in our second room with cable. Not completely related to the hotel, but I stayed here for a layover for a flight, and am not sure the town has much worth seeing. Only chain restaruants and a mall. I would either stay in Midland or the hotel next door for future layovers if I can't avoid all together. Mehr

the room was not bad at all the drain in the tub was a little slow but they had a pool, a picninc table, a coupla grills, and a little basketball hoop...plus in the lobby there was a con[uter with internet for you to use...my only issue was the free breakfast the first day was good then after that it was kinda crappy...but they were nice and helpful […] and it's located close to a meijer and a walmart and sam's club..plus their is a shopping mall jsut up the street...it was well worth my money and i would stay there agian if i went to that area... I can only describe my stay as a disappointment. I was supposed to have a refrigerator and coffee maker that I did not have, and there wasn't even an alarm clock in the room. The WiFi connection was so poor I couldn't stay connected. The bathroom needed re-grouted and the overall appearance of the outside showed signs of lack of maintenance with paint […] cracked and peeling. The free continental breakfast consisted of waffles,(I had to ask both mornings for more mix)Raisin Bran and fruit loops cereal, bagels, a carafe of orange juice and milk, and caffeinated coffee. No donuts, bread for toast, oatmeal, fresh fruit, or decaffeinated coffee. Mehr

Linens were frayed, worn and old. The toilet seat jumps around. Not clean looking, but cheap. There have to be better hotels around Saginaw for the same price.
