Century Hotel - Miami Beach

Die Umgebung, das Art Deco Viertel, ist einfach schön und bunt, spazierengehen macht richtig Spaß! Viele Delis und Cafés, ein Walgreens und CVS sind nur 5 min Fußweg entfernt. Toll ist es auch die Lincoln- ,Collins- und Washington Ave (Shopping, Essen, Bars, Clubs, Cafés, Supermärkte, Tattoostudios) entlang zu laufen, der Ocean Drive ist die PartyMeile […] - aber erst ab ca. HausNr 250 aufwärts, hier kann man nachts sicher nicht schlafen :-) (das Hotel hat Nummer 140). Keine 50 M zum sehr schönen und sauberen Sandstrand, Starbucks direkt gegenüber. Der Hotelservice ist sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht! Die Zimmer sind sauber und auf kleine "Beschwerden" wurden umgehend und sehr freundlich reagiert. WIr würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen! Wir haben lediglich eine Nacht vor Beginn einer Kreuzfahrt dort verbracht. Mussten das Zimmer leider wechseln, da die Bettwäsche bereits benutzt erschien. Zimmerwechsel war dann kein Problem. Das Hotel direkt am Ocean Drive ist als Ausgangspunkt für eine Stadterkundung ideal. Insgesamt für Durchreisende ok. Aber auch nicht mehr.

Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber für 1 oder 2 Übernachtungen ok. Frühstück ist gut. Das Hotel hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Parkgebühren sind extrem hoch.

durch die sehr gute Lage des Hotels eine übernachtung wert - da nimmt man auch einige abschläge in kauf. Preis für dieses Hotel sehr o.k.

very small and old room

Good hotel next to the beach. Reception worked very well. Room was spacius and cozy. Aircondition worked well, bathroom was nice and cleaning was made daily. A 3 cm gap under the room door was weird and a locked door between ours and the next room didn't hold any noise. But overall the hotel was great and we had a really nice vacation.

Disappointing! The tile floor to the room was filthy, it stained our feet black. Another major problem was there is no where to park a rental car but the valet lot a mile a way. The beach was across the street but was hidden by a large hotel. Wasn't worth the price just to stay there for a night and sleep.

This is a great Hotel for the location. Parking is Horrible!!! Please do not drive on the weekend. You may need to park blocks away from this hotel. Parking ranges from $25.00-40.00 dollars. But great Hotel. Continental breakfast is included 8am-10am only. Will recommend to others.

Worn-out hotel, room was size of closet. Not worth your money! Pictures on the internet don't cossespond to reality! I'm really disappointed!

The location of this hotel was perfect because it wasn't in the middle of all the noise and street traffic on Ocean Drive, but close enough to walk to and enjoy the bright lights and people watch. Also easy to reach by public transit from airport or Port of Miami or downtown Miami. Wish we had more than an overnight stay to explore the area.

The room, bathroom, linen and towels were very clean. The front desk was nice and the overall look was what you would expect of a sleep and go hotel. The problem we had was the air unit in the room, it was extremely loud and kept shutting off during the night making it extremely hot in the room. However we did not complain since it was our only night […] there and we were already in bed so I can't hold it against them too badly since i did not give them the opportunity to fix it. Great location, its a short walk from teh craziness so you can enjoy the bars but still get a good nights sleep away from the noise. Across from starbucks, that was a plus! Mehr

classic art deco edifice, in desperate need of redecorating and maintenance, just blocks away from the action on Ocean Drive. We had a very friendly welcome on arrival. Corridor to rooms is painted in a funky way but still looks like a cell block. Everything is concrete. The room was a good size with a great bathroom. Very noisy air con. system. A simple continental breakfast was served in the foyer. Easy walk to South Beach so a good location. The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect! I would highly recommend it.

The good: Excellent staff, friendly, attentive, speak clear English. The bad: small cramped rooms, loud bar next door, bed a bit firm The ugly: gross moldy bathroom Final thought: it would be nice if they told you Century link (or something like that) is not their free wi-fi. Good hotel, fantastic location.

Century Hotel has a soviet- era hospital feel: broken neon lights, erratic front desk, desolate lobby, squeaky bed, communal jam jars for breakfast (anyone?), construction site on adjacent lot, water on the bathroom floor after shower... Bizarrely, there was a stereo system in the room, but no coffee maker. To top off such miserable hospitality, they […] charged us for the mini-bar we did not even open. reminds me of a hotel i would find in italy or greece....Thought it was pretty cool how the hotel hired somebody to hand paint a fun mural on the hallway ceiling

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is very simple but clean and comfortable. It's a small Art Deco hotel so you can't expect many amenities but if you just want to stay at a decent hotel close to the Miami beach with affordable price, this is a perfect hotel. I will go back again.

I chose this hotel because of budget. Went in town for a job and needed a place to stay that wasn't too pricey. The hotel is super simple but clean, which is my primary concern every time i book a place. The only complain is that the walls are paper thin and you hear everything, I mean everything that is going on in the isles and adjacent rooms. So […] if you're looking for a place to rest, this is not the hotel for you. The front desk person who checked me in (11/19 around 1030pm) was not friendly but the people who came on the following shifts were nice. My friends and I came here to watch the Redskins-Dolphins game. PRICE - We paid below average in South Beach. Very small rooms, noisy environment, nice location but parking problems

Specifically booked a double room (2 straight guys) but upon arrival found only a single queen. Front desk was not helpful and it required a call to hotel.com to remedy the situation with two king rooms. Manager or owner was very apologetic and helpful after the call. Great location and no frills type of a place if you're there to go out and party, […] not somewhere to stay if you're looking for a place to lounge. Mehr

My boyfriend and I have stayed there twice now, both for spontaneous weekend get aways to Miami Beach. Though the hotel is definately out-dated, it has some the the best nightly rates I could find for a hotel on Ocean Drive. Angel at the front desk has been incredibly accomodating both times we've stayed. The first time we recieved a 10% discount because […] our room was the smallest in the entire hotel. The second time we recieved a much better room with lots of space, a comfortable king size bed, bathroom, tv, radio and mini fridge. (though it seems standard for a hotel to have these things, our first room didnt even have a side table). If you are looking for a one night stay, or dont plan on spending much time in your hotel while visiting Miami beach, I would definately recommend this hotel to you. Overall positives - Friendly and accommodating staff, cheap nightly rates, convenient location, comfortable beds. Overall negatives - no elevator, no ice machine, limited amenities, lacking in cleanliness, outdated atmosphere, funny smell. Mehr

Hotel staff was very helpful angel you the best. The bathroom is small and water will get everywhere but other then that had a very good experience there will stay there again.

We really enjoyed our visit/stay in Miami at the Century Hotel. It was convenient, walkable to beach, restaurants, & pier. We had a great time!!

Very helpful staff - especially the night clerk and the owner. Super comfy mattress but could do with the bed frame to match (bigger and a hazard to the shins). Bathroom lacked space for extended stay but just fine for a night or two. Bit disappointed that we still didn't score one of the "renovated" rooms even having booked way in advance - maybe next […] time.. We would happily give it another go. Really enjoyed our stay at the Century Hotel. Greeted by 2 friendly female boxers (loved to lounge in the sun and people watch) and small, yet personable staff. The hotel was just a few blocks away from pretty much any and everything we wanted to see/do. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, had a mini-fridge and a decent tv. I was satisfied. El hotel en términos generales es cómodo, pero me hacía a la idea de que quedaba exactamente al frente del mar toda vez que la dirección indica que está sobre Ocean Drive, no obstante la distancia es una dos o tres cuadras.

Hotel très bien situé dans South Beach mais chambre très petite.

+ accueil tres sympa - un peu bruyant

Geweldige locatie, vlakbij strand en op loop afstand van waar alles 's,avonds te beleven is. Vriendelijke ontvangst, nette en ruime kamers alleen ontbijtruimte is niet toegerust op het aantal gasten.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene: personale molto cordiale e hotel dignitoso posizionato benissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei

O hotel Century é mal conservado ,piso despregando Areia no corredor não foi tirada nem no dia Seguinte.Cafe da manhã ruim ate para os Padrões americanos e só tem duas mesas O valete mal educado

Hotel correct et bon marché pour Miami, bien situé dans un secteur incontournable à Miami l accueil est très sympa.

Als je een niet te duur hotel aan het strand wil (circa 5 min lopen naar Ocean's Drive) voor een korte periode dan is dit een prima hotel. Valet parking is goed geregeld (25 dollar voor 24 uur). Kamer en badkamer waren klein maar schoon. Nadeel was vooral dat het gehorig was.

hotel en travaux, juste à côté un pub avec musique jusque 2 heures du matin, petit déjeuner restreint, chambre et salle de bains pas vraiment reluisant, vue sur une cour (débarras) pas de parking, donc 25 euros pour la nuit dans le parmètre. Un seul point positif sa situation sur ocean drive!!!!!

very nice, close to the beach... and the nitht-life and with a great restaraunt 24h beside. The best location to live South Beach.

Paramos ahi los primeros dias de Junio y la pasamos muy bien. Excelente relacion precio calidad, muy bien ubicado (la playa ahi es muy linda). Lo estaban refaccionando por lo tanto todo esta muy nuevo. Super recomendable, volveria sin dudarlo en mi proxima visita.

Acceuil super sympa et souriant, Hotel trés propre et trés bien fréquenté, légèrement à l'écart sur Ocean Drive donc plus calme la nuit. Accés rapide à Downtown par la 5e avenue proche.Excellent rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner convenable sans originalité. Parking payant à proximité.
