Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp ist familienfreundlich. dieses Resort befindet sich in den Bergen. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in der Umgebung: Mariposa Grove und Pioneer Yosemite History Center.
Ausstattung
Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Wellnesscenter, Fitnessstudio und Innenpool. Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 4-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter, Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Tagungstechnik. Dieses Resort bietet den Gästen Folgendes: 5 Restaurants sowie Coffee-Shop/Café und Bar/Lounge. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Zum Service-Angebot gehört Folgendes: Hochzeitsservice, Event-Catering und Serviceleistungen für Geschäftsleute. Die 294 klimatisierten Zimmer im Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite bieten Folgendes: MP3-Dockingstationen und Zimmersafes. Die Betten in den Zimmern haben Pillowtop-Matratzen sowie Laken aus ägyptischer Baumwolle, Daunenbetten und hochwertige Bettwäsche. Ein Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht Ihnen gegen eine Gebühr zur Verfügung. Neben einem 40-Zoll LCD-Fernseher mit Satelliten-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: Videospielkonsolen und Pay-TV. Darüber hinaus bieten alle Zimmer folgende Ausstattung: Schreibtische, ergonomische Stühle und Telefone mit Freisprechfunktion mit Voicemail; kostenlose Ortsgespräche sind ebenfalls inbegriffen (möglicherweise gelten Einschränkungen). "wunderschöne Lodge vor den Toren des Yosemite Park"
Schöne Lodge, sehr sauber, mit Innen- und Außenpool, freundliches Personal. Die Tenaya Lodge ist auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl und bietet einen sehr großen Erholungsfaktor. Sie liegt direkt am Highway 41, vor dem Südeingang des Yosemite Nationalparks und ist auch im Dunkeln gut zu finden. Man fährt ca. 50 min. ins Valley.
"Schöne Lodge nahe Yosemeti Park"
Die sehr schön gelegene Lodge liegt leider 1 Fahrstunde vom Yosemetivalley entfernt, bietet aber ansonsten sehr schönen Unterkunft. Die Restaurants sind sehr gut, man ist auf Essen im Hotel angewisen, die Preise sind OK: Zum Wochenende hin ist es im Hotel sehr laut, da sehr viele Familien mit Kindern auch in der Nacht ankommen. negativ: WIFI wird extra […] berechnet mit 10 $ pro Tag! und hatte zunächst nicht geklappt, dann bekamen wir Hotelcode. Bei Frühstücksbuffet muss man aufpassen, dass man den richtigen Preis berechnet bekommt,- grßzügige korrreketur war möglich. Am Abfahrtstag hat uns der Weckdiesnt nicht geweckt,- daher unbedingt selber Wecker stellen,- dies hat uns denTage gerettet. Bei Reklamationen wurde freundlich geholfen. Empfehlenswert ist der Hotelshop. Gute Auswahl an schönen Souvenirs. Mehr

Direkt am Südeingang des Yosemite Parks. Wir hatten ein lodge und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Personal sehr freundlich. Können wir weiter empfehlen.

"Für eine Nacht"
Das Gute zuerst: Essen und Bedienung im Lokal ist sehr gut. Leider konnte man das weder vom Empfang, noch vom Concerge sagen. Die Zimmer im ca. 100 Meter entfernten waren eher überholungsbedürftig. Für eine Nacht war das knapp o.K. Für den Preis bekommt man in Las Vegas oder SF fast zwei Tage gehobenen Luxus. Die Umgebung mit den Red Woods war natürlich […] traumhaft. Mehr
"Sehr schönes Hotel"
Die Tenaya Lodge ist ein wunderschönes Hotel in der Nähe des Parkeingangs zum Yosemite Park ganz ruhig gelegen. Jederzeit würden wir wieder dort buchen. Allerdings auch nicht ganz billig und die Zimmer im Village sind recht klein, aber nett und sauber eingerichtet.

Die Personen an der Reception waren nicht so freundlich. Die Zimmer sind auch nicht mehr "neu".

This is a Wonderful place to stay & very close to Yosemite! A beautiful, comfortable, and clean resort. The only downside that we had was no fault of the resorts, there is just very little civilization near there so you a driving a little bit for gas etc.

"Excellent stay, fantastic staff"
We loved our short stay at this lodge. With a warm welcome and a free upgrade, we found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We used the (huge) hot tub in the indoor pool room and at 11pm were able to enjoy it all to ourselves. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The only area I think could be improved was in the restaurant […] where our service was a little rushed. Overall though, this was a great hotel and we would definitely return here. Mehr

"Rustic"
Stayed in the Cottages which are a short drive/walk away from the main building/reception. Room was comfortable, though not as large as expected. Had trouble with the fireplace (gas) which would not light up, so a technician ad to be called. The next night, we could not get the fridge and microwave oven to operate - a technician had to come and replace […] a fuse outside. The restaurant food in the main building is a bit expensive, but unless you want a 40 minute drive into and back from Oakhurst, there isn't much choice. The Pizza restaurant near the Cottages is more reasonable and tastes good. It's a short 8 min drive from Tenaya to the the Park entrance, then other 10 mins to the Giant Trees. If you go the other way from the Park entrance, Yosemite Village is about a 40 mins drive. Use the Hotel Concierge for local information - they are great! Mehr

"What a wonderful place!"
First class! Lovely furnishings, great service in the restaurant, helpful advice from employees. Only drawback is they are working on updating and repairing and several areas were blocked off. They should be ready by summer, though. It's nice to see they are keeping up appearances.
"best location south entrance to Yosemite park"
We just got back from a visit of Yosemite park (april 17th 2012) and this is probably the best hotel in terms of quality-location plus reasonable price. We were a little surprised to find snow on the ground when we arrived at this time of the year but it is at 6000 feet altitude. Next day in the valley, it was warm enough for shorts and tshirt. You […] need a variety of clothing at this time of the year. The hotel restaurant is excellent. We are from Montreal and we appreciate fine dining. No complaints at all. Mehr

Very good hotel. Excellent location, and high quality restraunts inside with reasonable prices. We also enjoyed a snowing day, so it was just wonderful.....

"Where's the free internet?"
Overall the hotel was good, but a bit of a let down for false advertising free internet! The only "free internet" was to view the hotel's internal information, bookings, restaurant, etc., there was NO free internet. Internet access is available everywhere now-a-days and its' cost (access) is very, very low. I thought that this was VERY CHEEP of the […] hotel and turn me off to returning there ever again. This was the second time I have gone to this hotel and will not go back for this reason. Mehr
"Lovely"
On this trip we stayed in the "cottages" which are apart from the hotel. They consist of 3 units together and appear to look like little houses. Our room was a bottom floor but I would recommend staying on the upper level. It was noisy from the upstairs folks. I was traveling with my 10 yr old son who LOVED the indoor pools! The food at Jackalopes […] bar and grill was fantastic! Get sweet potatoe fries. On a map it appeared closer to Yosemite Valley than it was. which is good because it's not as busy. But a bit of a drive if you need to go back and forth over several days. I would return for sure. Mehr
"Great place, but some problems."
I really want to like this place - staff is great, wonderful location, really a nice environment. But, there are some fundamental construction problems, or something. It seems as though they have used no sound insulation whatsoever. We could hear people walking down the hall all day, elevator tones all day and night, and it sounded like the family upstairs […] was having a rugby tournament. Never stayed in hotel that allowed so much sound to be transmitted through the walls and ceiling. Also, some times of the day we would have no cold water! Hot water would come out of both faucets, and showers would be almost unbearably hot. Other times all was fine. Restaurants were very nice, and the bar was a pleasant place to hang out. Pool was good, and the front lobby was also very nice. We had a great time, and would probably go back, but for such a nice resort, the construction should have been better. Mehr
"The Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite"
Having stayed at other hotels at Yosemite National Park we decided to stay at the Tenaya Lodge for a change. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We were in a lodge and it left a lot to be desired. Carpet leading into the bathroom was badly frayed, the entrance door to the lodge was cracked down the middle so you could actually stand inside […] and look at anybody standing outside,the toilet roll holder was broken and every time you used it the holder fell into the waste bin and the dirty laundry was left outside the front door in a plastic bag over 24 hours. Food was reasonable but expensive for what you got. I will certainly never stay here again and would never recommend it to a friend Mehr

Nice place and the closest one to Yosemite South Gate. Great base from which to see Yosemite.
Very convenient access to southern end of Yosemite, NOT if you want to go back and forth to the valley. Staff wonderful. Only complaint--WIFI should be free access in rooms.

"Tenaya Lodge"
This was our second Christmas spent @ the Tenaya Lodge @ Christmas and it didn't let us down! Sometimes Wnen you have such an amazing time the 1st year, the second year can't meet your expectations, but we brought 2 families with us, and the Tenaya exceeded our expectations and beyond!

The resort is amazing but two reasons why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. The waiter in the Grill was quite snobby but the guy that brought out our drinks (Jose or Juan?) was very cheerful and made up for the waiter. Second reason, when my kids and wife sat down on the sofas in the lobby, they got up only to have dog hair all over their pants. Other […] than that, the room was great, but wish the shower water was a bit warmer. Overall a good experience and we will be back! Mehr
"Tenaya - Some Problems, Made It Right"
We had long been admirers of the hotel, having stopped in for hot cocoa one Christmas and stumbled upon a Gingerbread House workshop that has become an annual tradition. We even considered having our wedding here we loved it so much, so we were excited to stay here for an anniversary. The good: - incredibly friendly and helpful staff (valet, front desk, […] restaurants) - great location - lots of fun activities - knowledgable concierge The bad: - noise in hallways - they lost our reservation for a King room and tried to substitute a Double - we had 1 maintenance call, and 2 maintenance visits during our stay - housekeeping woke us up at 8AM despite DND signs - we basically didn't sleep the entire weekend That said, when we alerted the front desk, they did a partial refund and apologized profusely. It seems we just drew the short straw on an unusually busy weekend when they were training a bunch of staff, and thankfully we were so happy just to get away that we laughed about it. Mehr

"Tenaya Lodge - Warm and charming"
The hotel is very welcoming and charming. The room is of good size, well-equipped and tastefully furnished. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

I really felt pampered. the staff was so attentive and the rooms were so clean. we had several fantastic meals in the restaraunts located within the hotel and the food was delicious. the indoor pool was warm and very clean. the hot tubs..what can I say. i want one. so relaxing and there are robes located in the rooms to wear to the pool. comfortable […] beds, and a good shower. I would highly recommend staying here at the Tenaya Lodge. Close to Yosemite. wonderful Mehr
"Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite South"
The hotel was amazing! It was definitely worth the money, as the rooms were huge, the TV was great, and the furniture was very comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the location, since the hotel was pretty far south of the main attractions in Yosemite. Not too big of a deal, though, considering how nice the place was!
"Tenaya Lodge - a good choice"
We stayed 3 nights at Tenaya Lodge. The service was excellent, particularly the valet parking service. All staff members were very helpful. I was especially grateful that the hotel had a guest laundry, as these are often hard to find.

"Decent Place"
The facility was overall nice. Biggest complaint was the door didn't lock on all occassions. We really had to mess with it a bit and at times were debating on whether we could leave if we couldn't get it to lock. Didn't matter if you were inside or outside of the room.

"Great hotel just outside the park"
We stayed in the cottages which were inside the hotel grounds. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. the hotel is situated just 2 miles out of the park and so its easy to gain access to the park but from the hotel to the valley floor or main trails its about an hours drive. Would definately reccommend this hotel.
