Hotel needs updating & repair. This hotel is walking distance to restaurants, etc. and only less than a mile from our dinner party. Unfortunately, it's noisy due to it's neighboring bars, restaurants, room next door, etc. We got back from dinner party around 11pm there's no more parking inside. You need to get a parking outside (goodluck) & hotel provide […] a voucher so you won't get a ticket. We were not able to get a good sleep. Breakfast: coffee, muffins, OJ, bread & pastries. Will not use this hotel again. Front desk not as friendly as expected. Elevator is scary. Mehr

Location makes this hotel perfect for price - only drawback was the noise at night from neighboring bars/clubs - we loved being able to walk to Starbucks applebees breakfast diners ! Rooms are average

Staff were very rude and did not allow me to use restroom after I checked out. After half hour they said I could use the bathroom in the laundry room while I was waiting for my cab ride for airport . The room was very filthy and the toilet was making loud noise after flushing. And even the room was non smoking it did smell smoke. Could have had a Hot Waffle Machine with Syrup (LITE) Myself being Diabetic and my Son Being Legally Blind it would have Been Better to Have Been on the First Floor but i had not PRE-REQUESTED This in Advance . If you have a car, do not stay at this hotel. The parking lot is miserably small for the number of rooms and the first morning my car was almost trapped in by another guest desperately parking there car in an inappropriate place just to avoid having to be out on the street. But I eventually wormed my way out of my actual parking spot and went on my […] way. It was that night, however, that the hotel's true charm revealed itself. The hotel is in a U shape and at the open end of the U are the backsides to some businesses. One of which is apparently a bar or nightclub. Until late into the night we were serenaded by a mariachi band's rendition of "Brown Eyed Girl" among other classic tunes. Complete with trumpet players practicing in the parking lot just on the other side of the chain link fence from my car. This is within 50 yards of our room door which kept out nearly zero of the music. Oh, and the non-smoking room stunk of smoke. Large, curved out, shower rod was sagging off the wall and the shower curtain was nearly torn in half. While the bathroom wall outlet worked, the wall mounted hairdryer plugged into it did not. Sofa was stained in ways I'd rather not think about. The list of charm goes on but hey, it was cheap, though not nearly cheap enough for what you're getting. Mehr

it's a bargain and if you have business to attend to in the Alhambra area, it is the best place to stay. very convenient to just about everything and the staff is courteous and nice. It's not a 5 star or even a 4 star, BUT it is a practical hotel in terms of convenience, affordability, cleanliness, and service.

I always stay here whenever I visit my family in Alhambra. I am not very picky on hotels, so I think Days Inn Alhambra is a decent stay. So far all my interactions with the staff have been nice, and they are almost always accommodating to my needs. The rooms are well-equipped, and the hotel is close to all my favorite restaurants.

This place would have been mediocre at best if they had enough parking spaces on the hotel premises. They don't and I had to block other cars in order to fit my car in the lot. I was advised to do that by the night manager. The night managers were different for each of the two nights I was there. Great location, easy to check in / out, incredibly kind and courteous staff, I would stay there again. I arrived late and left early so it wasn't an extended stay but for my needs, it was perfect (my apartment was having work done so I just needed a place for the night). There was a DVD player which was unexpected and very nice. There was limited parking but I was able to park, I got the last space. The room size is large and the condition is OK. However, the maid cleaned the room in the late afternoon and we had to wait outside for her to clean the room. The hair dryer in the room was broken and never get replaced after repeated request.

I like that this hotel is located in a nice area in Alhambra near Pasadena. There is a Applebee's, Starbuck's, Coldstone Creamery, Edwards Theaters, Subway, Vietnmese Pho restaurants, Nigtclubs and bars, Alhambra Public library and police station. The location is in a nice area just south of Pasadena. The continental breakfast was okay with big muffins […] to eat. Overall was satisfied with the room. It had a mini fridge, microwave, lcd tv with an acceptable no of channels including HBO. the towels were clean, the neighborhood was safe.

I'll never go back... I love the neighborhood I go there everytime I go to L.A. But I may stay in Hilton in San Gabriel for sure next time.!! This inn is in a nice location but its room is dirty.!! Weird smell plus I saw a SPIDER on my pillow.!! Oh wow.. I won't come here again.!

The front desk was nice enough. Parking can be tight but they do try to accommodate your vehicle in the lot. The second night of my stay I was blocked out by a police car that parked across the entrance of the driveway. There was definitely something shady going on since there were three LAPD cars parked out front and two men in handcuffs. The room […] was nice, the bed comfy... better than I expected, actually. The parking lot was very small for the number of rooms at this location. Fortunately, we were able to get the lone handicapped space for both of our nights here. It would have been difficult to take care of my wife's needs had that space not been open. the lady upfront tried to be nice but was a bit wierd and argumentative. This is a very average hotel that was a great price. It's not for people on vacation, more for business travel etc.

Alhambra offers very few good hotel options and I would have to say this is one of the best if not the best. The only complaint is that it was a tad noisy from surrounding establishments. At check-in I presented my hotels.com receipt and needed to change a name on one of my rooms. The lady at the desk was extremely rude and said that couldn't be done. As it turns out, it could be done by calling Hotels.com who handled it in a friendly manner. After that the lady was so mad that I went over her head that she yelled at me! The location was the main criteria for picking this hotel. The room was clean and the staff friendly, but the phone, clock and remote control did not work. The room was overpriced to me, for what I got. I would recommend over for an overnight stay, if you need a place close to downtown area.
